If anyone rents a truck from this location or really any location, be sure to drop it off when a representative is present and not just drop off the key in the drop box. Be sure to verify the final charge when you drop off the equipment. I drove 11 miles from this location to Habitat of Humanity at exit 218 and later saw a charge of an extra $52. I saw the charge almost 2 weeks later and they tell me I went 71 miles. 71 miles?! I was back and forth between uhaul and them and all they can tell me is that they are going by the odometer and that the next customer picked it up and verified my supposed drop off mileage. Nobody was willing to investigate and tell me how I could have gone 71 miles in less than 45 minutes. By the way, these people have CCTV cameras on their property and can check their system when I pinned in and out of the storage facility. But no one cares.....as long as the money is coming in. The next time I rented a truck, I did so from another facility and was so terrified when I wanted to drop off the truck the next day and the representative was not there and had left early. I didnt want to drop off the key. I called the other sun emissions that had refered me to them to drop it off but was told I couldnt do that. I didnt want to get charged for another day so I dropped it off anyway and prayed the same thing will not happen again. There was no dispute with the mileage this time but they had charged me an extra day. Anyway, this was sorted out when I called uhaul but they were not willing to investigate the mileage dispute with this location.....insisting they only go by the readings on the odometer. Again, try your best to drop off equipments only when someone is present and dont be like me who got charged for 71 miles instead of 11.
