Three stars is solely for the customer service aspect of this establishment. The owner is welcoming and has a good spirit. Now lets speak on the service. The owner Mary shampooed my hair and placed me in a chair with a stylist who I assume was fresh out of school. My request was simple trim the ends and.give me long layers. Well first.off a stylist should never tell a 1st time client they dont like cutting wet hair. That was a sign and of shouldve just left, if you can do hair it shouldnt matter if its wet or dry. When trimming she advised would cut an inch and then proceed with my LONG LAYERS! I could tell how she cut my layers she was not experienced and then had Mary "cross check" her work. While the cut was being checked over the owner kept saying "beautiful" and the stylist said "really?". Once my cut.was done I sat.in Marys chair who did pin curls and actually did a good job styling however she put what.I asume was edge control around well my edges. Sorry.I am mixed with more hispanic.texture.and dont need edge control, so.my hair was sticky.and clumped around the edges. When.I.looked at the.finished product.I immediately saw my long length was gone however I chopped it up bc I had pin curls and.figured.a.day or two my length would drop.WRONG AS ALL HELL! Please tell me why I have a short uneven BOB! Take it my hair was pass my shoulders almost mid back-Not happy at all, no wonder Mary kept saying "her hair grows fast" cuz they chopped.too much off. Went to my Stylist for her to fix this mess. Was really hoping to.find a good stylist in my area. I wish them the best and pray the lady who cut.my hair is properly trained and given practice hours on a dummy head. Lesson learned.

The people working here are very welcoming to their customers. Im not one to speak much and I still felt very at home during my appointment. They have something of a family dynamic with each other, so that definitely helps and they treat their clients as such. On to my hair, my hair was a total mess when walking in. I had previously had braids that I had taken out while moving some few months ago and after settling in I had little to no time to dedicate to my hair. I simply threw it up into a little bun/ponytail. The previously braided hair stayed in that style and became very dread like and were very matted and dirty. So it was somewhat straight on the top layer of it and matted in "patches" underneath. The older woman and who I assumed to be the owner, Mary,managed to fix and detangle most of my hair with only shampoo and conditioner. One of the younger women working there, Lonnie, did some of yhe detangling and all of the straightening and trimming. Shes a bit slow but slow and steady definitely wins the race. She takes her time to make sure customers walks out perfectly. Its well worth the time. Overall, I will definitely be coming back in two weeks for a touch up

Wow :) I LOVE this salon and the people in it. I was there on Saturday and I had so much fun. The stylists are so down to earth and their talent is jaw dropping! While they all have their own unique style, they are all equally professional, courteous and dedicated to customer satisfaction. Every woman left the salon feeling beautiful and spoiled. This is what a salon experience should be like. I met Ms. Mary, one of the friendliest people Ive met in a while, and the equally wonderful Ms. Tena did my hair. Even though I changed my mind several times, she stayed with me, never getting frustrated but ensuring that I had the style I wanted. I cant wait until its time for me to go again! See you soon ladies! Id give more if I could, but 5 stars for everyone! In addition, this salon, led by Ms. Mary, sponsored 3 single moms for Mothers Day! They provided each of these moms with a beautiful hairstyle and made them feel gorgeous for their special day! Friendly, professional, talented and and a heart for giving...this salon is the TOTAL package!

I have been patronizing this business for over 10 years. I found out yesterday that they have implemented a service charge of $19 if you dont purchase your hair from the salon. WTF! This is absolutely crazy. What if I have a special brand of hair that I like and I dont want to buy your hair. This is just a way of robbing your customers. I dont know of any other salon that applies a fee if you bring your own hair. This salon will no longer get anymore of my business and I suggest other customers find another salon to go to. You will lose your loyal customers because the smart ones wont allow you to rob them. It shows you dont care about your customers.

Ms. Mary the owner is heaven sent; from the time your in the door, until you leave, she pleases you. its such a pleasant spiritual vibe. I come to this hair place because its very convenient and I live in the area, this salon does great work and they make you feel as comfortable as possible. Ive kept a sew in in for about 7 months , only because they foundation was so nice and my braids were still in tack. I love this place, and I am and will remain a loyal client ! This is. EXTREMELY. Late but Ive been so busy. And these ladies did sooo well with my hair in October And i enjoyed every single moment there! I was nervous at first finding a stylist from the internet, but she was a woman of her word and did EXACTLY what she said she would do. In my opinion both women are very underrated stylists! I will continue to get my hair done here.
