First impression wasnt good, they left my car interior a mess, grease stains on seats, metal filings all over interior from ignition switch work they preformed and steering wheel reinstalled wrong. Gave them a second chance since I heard such good things about them and everything seems much better after additional work Ive had done. I want to support local businesses so I am hopeful. So far they have been okay - I feel they are trustworthy which is most important to me. They need to use more care in how they handle customers vehicle and calling with updates on repairs would be helpful since I always seem to have to call them to know what is going on with my car...so I cant give them a higher grade at this time. Give them a try, ask for Ray or Mike. I

I had heard about Hicks Automotive, but had never taken my cars there as it wasnt as close as other places Id used in the past. However, I finally dropped off a car there and they did a great job. They diagnosed and fixed an electrical short that was causing the battery to drain (finding these can be tedious). They did a great job for a great price and I only wish I had started taking my cars there sooner. 07/2016 Update - Im still taking my cars to Hicks Automotive and continue to get good service and prices.

We towed our 2002 Nissan Pathfinder to Hicks Automotive two weeks ago. Another top mechanic in the area recommended that we try them. Additionally, a friend also told us that they do great work. Both sources were correct, Hicks Automotive did a great job at a fair price. We will use them in the future for all our repairs. Trustworthy, excellent communicators and terrific customer service. I have been taking my cars and kids cars to Hicks for over ten years. They have worked on Toyotas, Hondas, Cadillacs, a Ram 1500 pickup. Just as everyone has said, they are fast, honest and very personable in all their dealings. Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good spouse--you better hang on to the winners with all your might. These folks are the best---

New to the area, and was experiencing electrical issues at start up that worsened through the week (I figured best case, battery, or otherwise alternator or starter). Brought the car in at 4 pm on a Friday. They looked at it and diagnosed it as the battery right away, and replaced it within 20 minutes. I was out before 4:30 pm. Excellent first impression!

These guys are awesome and trustworthy! We had a problem with my Ford Explorer and two other mechanics said it needed a transmission. Hicks checked it out and said it needed something completely different and it fixed the entire problem for $200!
