We have a 2006 Honda Odyssey which we bought with known transmission issues, we took our Honda Odyssey SS transmission because we live nearby and we heard good things about them from our neighbors. initially upon our conversation by phone with SS transmission I was impressed by their knowledge base also after replacing or rebuilding our transmission and adding a transmission cooler which is like an extra radiator for the transmission we commenced with our summertime plans which were to save money on rental vehicle by taking our own minivan our journey, which was to start here in Alexandria Kentucky then straight to Tallahassee Florida from there we went to Panama City Beach and then straight back to Alexandria kentucky. From there we went to Virginia Beach Virginia and then back, thats twice over the mountains fully loaded with 4 Kids a trailer full of camping gear and a Topper full of camping gear on top of the van we also have air shocks installed by another company just to compensate for the load we have been driving this van daily since then and we had the transmission rebuild back in May 2016. The van works great we have absolutely no complaints SS transmission had no problem taking the van back after they completed the job and going over it to make sure that everything was still okay right before we went on our trip. We would definitely recommend SS transmission to anyone who may be thinking about going to Discount Transmissions or anywhere else in the area definitely do not go to Discount Transmissions. Discount Transmissions ripped me off over $2,000 on a Chevy Astro van I learned my lesson if you need any transmission work definitely go to SS transmission.

If you are a chevy person this is the place to take your truck for transmission repair. We have 4 kids in our family and it just so happened that both cars that could haul us all broke down at the same time. They repaired my suburban transmission in around 4 days and at a good price. They also took our sienna minivan which auto zone said needed knock sensors. This job would have been around 1200 dollars but even though it was not in their comfort zone these guys took the van and determined that it was only the ignition coils which was only around 300 dollars. I would recommend these guys to anyone with transmission problems.

In the performance business its previously been impossible to find a trans shop that will build a product to hold the abuse and take care of your customer. These guys are the only place we recommend at Cincy Speed and the only trans shop that touches our transmissions.

They didnt actually do any work on our 2005 Honda Odyssey, but took it for a test drive and told me it felt good and the slight noise I was hearing wasnt anything to particularly worry about at the present. Kudos for honesty and basically turning down business.
