I didnt want to go with Move Buddies at first. Id had experience with one of their major competitors last year (which I will not name) and I had high expectations. When I called the former company to schedule a move, I was surprised at how inflated the prices were compared to last years (over 300 dollars in comparison). They claimed to price match, but I was left hanging when the time came for me to put my deposit down by one of their reps who conveniently left the office when I was ready to place my order. I went online to find Groupons and was introduced to Move Buddies. They seemed pretty legitimate, so I went ahead and got a quote. After inquiring about said Groupon, they had to remove it due to technical difficulties. Making it right, Move Buddies gave me their Groupon rate for the same amount of time, and I put down my deposit. They showed up twenty minutes early, and waited until my allotted time to start the move. They were a little smaller than I expected, and I was definitely skeptical they could get the job done, but I waited to see if I would be wrong. They wrapped everything. Everything got white glove treatment. No furniture was left unwrapped, and damages were something I did not have to worry about. Deshawn (spelling) and his younger brother packed the truck and made me feel secure about entrusting my things to them. The ride to the new complex was nerve wracking, but they found the place easily and began unloading the truck. Up a flight of stairs and on time constraints, they unloaded in under an hour and began unwrapping all of our stuff. They cataloged the move by photos to ensure everything remained accounted for. We paid for our move on their tablet, and they left soon after. A day later I received a call from Deshawn, saying that he found one of our screws in his truck to our lamp (a necessary attachment), he even let us know hed swing by when close to return it. They were very nice guys that cared about their work and their customers, and theyve made me a huge fan of Move Buddies. I would definitely buy their time for a move- hopefully they keep great guys on their team like the ones that helped us. The only thing I was a bit annoyed about the entire time was the fact that they kept spelling my girlfriends name wrong. Its Fanchon guys... not Sanchon, or Samshon-- but that was more on the administrative side, haha. Definitely try these guys out for the white glove treatment-- youll be happy to have such a great moving service on your side!

My husband and I moved across country from Seattle to Pembroke, GA. We used another company who brought our household over here and had an extremely stressful and horrific experience with them. Long story short, we ended up having that said company load our stuff into storage units. Which then left us with needing to find help elsewhere to get us actually moved into our house. Needless to say we were leary and nervous about working with another moving company. I called Saturday night, was helped out by a great guy who explained all details thoroughly, and booked the guys to come the very next morning! The 2 guys who helped us arrived on time, they worked their butts off and hustled, but still very careful with our belongings. They didnt waste any time and were an absolute pleasure to talk with and do business with! And as promised by the original guy on the phone, there were no extra hidden costs or surprises with the total. That was a wonderful thing! It was refreshing to get some faith back in trusting a sales person at their word, especially pertaining to this industry. Thank you Move Buddies for the prompt, timely, courteous service provided, and the care that went into handling our belongings and not adding to the damage the other company did on many of our belongings. The first company said they were "there to help all along the way to relieve the burden of all the stresses of moving." They did not keep that promise, but Move Buddies definitely fulfilled that statement. Thanks again!

Movers were very polite, hard working, and efficient. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication about the size of the job. Make sure you read VERY CLOSELY the terms of the contract as it has important details about the extent of the job. I was reassured over the phone a 1000 sq ft apt with 2 bedrooms and a lot of stairs could be handled no problem with two guys in the afternoon. When the crew showed up, they had to call in a third guy because they were not anticipating such a labor intensive job with "so much stuff and stairs". I would for sure use the company again, but this time around, I would not be so foolish to only listen to the booking agent and breeze over the contract---it put my movers in a difficult situation and I hope the pizza and tips we gave at the end of the 3 hour move made up for the inconvenience we caused! I take most of the responsibility for this predicament but just want to pass on to future clients to clearly document all you have to move so it can be booked right the first time around! Thanks move buddies!

Recently used them for a small local move four our daughter. we had an early start which normally in previous moving experiences has been the start of the downfall for the day. Move Buddies had their Crew in front of our home 15 minutes before we was scheduled to start the move. The Movers, knowing it would be along day, seemed positive and good spirits. They immediately had energy that never faltered until they completed our move just shy of 6PM that evening. I was very protective of the new hardwood floors at our new place. The movers spent plenty of time making sure the fresh painted walls and new shining hardwood floors had the proper protection. At one point I thought it was a little over kill, but looking back I would have rather spent the money there instead of on repairing my floors. The heaviest piece we had was moved with the greatest of ease. I only pick, because I always do, there was a few boxes upside down and a couple that got in the wrong rooms. Other than that the move went off without a hitch.

I cant say enough wonderful things about the movers who assisted me from Move Buddies in Savannah. I rented a U-Haul truck and just needed the movers to move all of my daughters belongings into the truck for the very long drive back to PA. Unfortunately I rented the wrong size truck. The movers quickly notified me once they saw the storage unit and the truck that there was a mismatch. I quickly worked on exchanging the truck for a much larger one all the while the movers continued to remove items from the storage unit (3rd floor) to the parking lot. Once I returned with a bigger truck they very efficiently moved all the items into the truck. They were friendly, conversant, polite, respectful and professional. They understood my frustration and anxiety and were very understanding and supportive. All the items were safely packed and secured inside the truck. All items returned to PA safe and sound. I would recommend MOVE BUDDIES to anyone who needs help! They were just AWESOME. Thanks guys. Terry
