Hands down the worst customer service possible. Coastal estimated my shipment at 11,000 pounds and, despite my repeated insistence that it was, in fact, 12,500 (I might have moved 8 times in the last 12 years) pounds, they set everything up for 11,000. When the truck showed up with space for 11,000 pounds, surprise of the century, our shipment didnt fit!! Now Im stuck with an overflow shipment... such fun! Day two of trying to load started with me making 11 phone calls over the course of 4 hours. Im finally informed that they will have a truck to me between 3 and 5. Great, we can get this resolved in time for me to meet family from out of town (hadnt seen my nephews in 2 years, would be at least as long before I see them again). But no... at 5:05 pm I get a call from the crew. Theyre at the warehouse and are working to get a truck ready... warehouse is an hour away! Seriously? I asked politely if we could work something out for the next morning (after all, Coastal pulled guys off of our packing job to resolve something else) so that I didnt have to sit on the house until 8 at night. Crew leader asks the yard supervisor... no dice. I called myself. Got told to wait and theyd find out from the supervisor. 30 minutes later I get a call from the move coordinator (who works for a broker, totally different company), telling me no dice. Now Im angry... asked to talk to the supervisor who made the decision. Two calls later, Im told that the only way Im clearing my house is to deal with it, and that no one from coastal was willing to talk to me about it. Im stuck between a bad option and one thats worse. All I asked for was for the person who made the decision that he would not be inconvenienced to clean up his companys mistake to tell me as much himself. They flat. Out. Refused. Thanks, coastal. I really appreciate you being stand-up human beings. Avoid these folks at all costs.

They damaged so many of our things, things that weve collected over the years, things that may not mean much value in money but means a lot to us. They are the worst Packers Ive ever seen. A lot of our stuff was just thrown into boxes all mixed up together so a lot of little items ended up broken. They didnt properly packed a lot of my husbands things that he had collected over the 20 years of being in the USMC so many items are broken or missing parts. They need to retrain their employees to take better care of their customers things. All these little things might not be of value but together when you add up all the little things that are broken its a lot or may not even be able to be replaced. Yes I know some things will and can break during moves but the amount of things that are broken is insane from this one particular move and we have moved a lot throughout the years with the military!! In my husbands 20 years of moving constantly he said this was the worst moving company he has ever seen. Almost every single box we had were extremely damaged and some even had water damaged. Its ridiculous how horrible of a job they did!

Worst moving company we have ever dealt with! Very unprofessional. We had so many damaged items as well as a few missing items. The boxes were packed horribly with just random stuff from different rooms thrown together. No organization what so ever. They had a paper cutter packed with my TV with the blade side actually on the TV. They packed a $600 wall hanging with a dresser mirror and didnt remove the screws from the mirror so the screws sliced the picture all up. Bookshelf completely destroyed, cabinet with a broken leg, my desktop computer wont even power on! I could seriously go on and on. I think maybe they have better workers in their other locations or maybe we just got the worst of it. I know the guys who delivered our items were actually nice and worked hard. It wasnt their fault the hardware was missing so they couldnt put everything together. The Savannah location though I would run far, far away from.

If I could post all the damage! During loading the truck, they ran out of blankets to wrap my furniture and didnt ask for more sent. They ran out of paper. They ran out of room in the truck and haphazardly put it in another. They ran out of time and rushed to finish it. Paneling ripped off furniture, grill smashed and broken, containers packed and not wrapped then smashed leading to broken stuff everywhere. Axes on wagons bent in half, furniture not wrapped at all leading to damage, furniture broken in half...heavy boxes loaded on lighter ones, leading to smoothed boxes...including breakable! Absolutely frustrated...Ive never had damage like this!

Just awful. They wrapped stuff they werent supposed to, like a jar of coconut oil, which ended up leaking into at least four othdr boxes. Expensive/valuable items that we specifically asked them to wrap were not, but thank goodness all of those pens and index cards had probably four sheets of paper around them. Things were just thrown in boxes. They even completely missed a full closet, but they did stuff an empty box full of other boxes and paper and label it as a TV we dont even have. By far, the worst moving experience.

Please do not use this company ! We are a military family and they moved us from CA to Va and damaged $4000 worth of our stuff most was wet and nasty including all or matresses whicgh i had to dispose of and the movers wont cover because i didnt hold onto the moldy matress! Oh and did i mention it took them over 6 months to make an offer of $800 !!! Please save yourself the heartache go with another company. Even the workers got into a fight on my front porch it was a disaster!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I had them move us into our home and they somehow turned a water spicket on, on our second floor and flooded our house out for 2 days before We even got there. We are the first ones in this house and now everything is ruined. Walls, baseboards, doors, you name it if it was on the first story and half of our second story it is all ruined by water.

Rude, disrespectful, and ungrateful. The absolute WORST moving experience in my 15 year military career. I really hope this company is black-listed. Damaged items, irresponsibly packed boxes, and some other pretty serious things I wont mention. What a terrible, TERRIBLE company. Im actually surprised the government still uses this company.

Worst moving company ever. All of our stuff was thrown into the box, broken, scattered everywhere. One of the guys was rude, and I have so many damaged items. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Very pleasant movers with a lot of respect for us and our things. Towards the end boxes were being placed in wrong areas of the house, hut other than that we were pleased with our experience.
