This could have easily been a ZERO Star Experience.....But wasnt My wife and I recently moved up to Charlotte from Charleston, SC and my realtor gave me the name and number for David who owns the company. David got me all setup and ready to have a crew out at my place to unload the moving truck on the Friday before Memorial Day. The crew that was supposed to come out was a sub-contractor he uses and they had a car issue and they informed me they would not be able to make it out that evening at 4PM. I asked them if they could come later that evening when they got their car situation resolved so that I could be unpacked since everything I owned was stuffed in the back of my Uhaul and would have nowhere to sleep but the floor for the evening. The person told me they were very sorry, but would be there first thing in the morning, all while refusing to comp me anything for the issue. Needless to say, I was pissed and called David several times. Long story short, David must have made a half-dozen calls and found a crew willing to come out on short notice, late on a Friday evening, and he even got a 3rd person to come to speed it up instead of the original 2 people. The crew that DID show up got there around 6:30pm and had everything unloaded and setup in less than 3 hours. While the situation started off horrible, David did an excellent job making things right and at the end of the day, I was just happy everything was unloaded as promised.

Have had David move us twice. One move was incredibly difficult with three separate stops and going through the mountains to Tennessee and it was completed without a flaw. These guys are fast and get things done. Have only had one item broken in multiple moves. No problems with TVs or other breakable objects as they bring their own blankets and wrap everything well. Theyre not cheap, but again you get everything intact, unbroken, and unpacked in a split second. Would highly recommend.

Duke Moving did a FANTASTIC job moving our family from Toledo, OH to Concord, NC. The friendly employees were very efficient, attentive, and methodical in the way they took care and caution when moving our furniture and boxes. Our items were wrapped and packaged so carefully on the moving truck that they did not have a mark on them when we unpacked. Duke Moving made our transition from state to state a breeze! I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning an upcoming move.

Cant say enough about Dave and Duke Moving. They are so warm and wonderful and professional and detail oriented. I have moved a lot in my life and used all the corporate movers, Mayflower, United and even Bekins and I still had a better experience both personally and financially then all the three mentioned. Move out and move in was seamless. They are my go to now when moving or storage needs. Thanks yall !
