i wish i can give ZERO stars but it wont let me post. while the movers were good guys (nothing against them), the back office was the absolute worst customer service i ever experienced and would not wish on my worst enemy. the truck had a mechanical issue and wouldnt crank. it took them almost an hour & a half to get to someone else on site, and shop and truck yard is only 15 min away. they also tried to charge me for all of the extra time switching over from their junk truck to a new one (i only had 3 large items to move). they told me they called a tow company and said the tow company told them it would be 45 min wait, that was an in your face lie, they never called until hours later that day. due to that, their truck blocked me in my driveway for over 11 hours (almost 8 hours after the movers had left and 9 hours from when they said they called), so i was stuck at an empty house all day and couldnt leave. They only called me twice, once to try to overcharge me several hours later after they dropped off the items (and that was almost 3 hrs from time they said they called and it would take 45 min for tow), the second call was after almost 10+ hours of wait, just to tell me the tow truck was on the way. i had already received that call from the tow company as i personally had to followed up with tow company myself (could not trust them) so i already knew that fact. i called their office multiple times that day, and they didnt seem to want to help at all, said id have to wait, and would not own up to their falsehood. They had two Op Mgrs on duty, and both neglected to call that morning, and one of them is the one that lied to me in my face saying they called and the tow company said 45 min, and continued the falsehood that they called after i inquired later as to who at the tow company said this, and hours before they actually called, stating they could not remember who told them 45 min. That is unacceptable. When i tried to get satisfaction and justice over my lost time waiting and absolute neglect of caring and helping the customer by requesting a refund of what they did charge me, their quality assurance dept would NEVER call me to discuss this matter. He avoided to call or help or settle the actual grievance i had placed. Their replacement truck that morning damaged my yard by driving on it, and he seem to think that would fix the issue, and he felt it fair that i didnt get charged for all the hours they stated that took to move. I took this egregious action all the way up to the owner, the final reply from him was he sided with his mgmt team and said since i received services i still had to pay, even though it was negotiated down a few hours, i had to pay to be left in my yard and lied to and neglected all day. They would not consider my time and suffering worth anything, even after being abandoned at my house, blocked in and not able to leave, and horrible customer service and lack of care. They only care about the bottom line and themselves. i wont use this company ever again, and will continue to seek concessions and refund whether by social media assistance, the media, or whomever I need in order to get a full refund. My hope is to warn other so they wont have to experience this horrible customer service care ever as I will never promote to use them. it says "movers who care" as their motto and on their truck, and the moving guys on site did a good job, but the office, managers, quality assurance dept, and owner does not care about you, and will hang you out to dry if things go bad! Given the chance, they will overcharge you and neglect you as you, the customer, do not matter to them at all except for their financial benefit at your cost. Shame!

2 MEN AND A TRUCK MOVED MY ELDERLY MOTHER FROM HER 950 SQ FOOT HOME IN CHARLOTTE ,TO THEIR STORAGE FACILITY. HER ITEMS WERE STORED WHILE SHE LIVED WITH US IN SALISBURY , FOR APROX. 7 MOS. ITEMS WERE MOVED FROM STORAGE TO HER NEW RESIDENCE, IN SALISBURY. IM GIVING THEM A 1 STAR RATING, ONLY FOR THEIR BEING ON TIME , POLITENESS, AND BEING FAST UNLOADING OF HER ITEMS. BUT THIS IS WHERE THEY GET NO STARS.--- MOVERS WERE MISSING HARDWARE OF HER BED FRAME, AND WERE NOT ABLE TO PUT TOGETHER HER BED. WAS TOLD THEY WERE GOING TO LOWES TO PICK THE HARDWARE, BUT CALLED STATING THEY COULDNT FIND IT, BUT WOULD HAVE SOMEONE ORDER IT. THIS WAS ON TUESDAY, TODAY IS FRIDAY. HAVENT NOT HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. WAS GIVEN A 96 HR TIME FRAME TO REPORT ANY LOST / DAMAGED GOODS. #1-MISSING TV FROM HER BEDROOM, #2- -2 DRAWERS BROKEN ON DRESSER, AND BROKEN DRAWER ON END TABLE TO BEDROOM SUIT, . #3- CHIPPED WOOD ON DINING ROOM CHAIR ,LEG OF TABLE.#4- FEW BROKEN DISHES. #5-MISSING LG GLASS JUG FULL OF QUARTERS, THAT SHE HAS BEEN SAVING FOR YEARS.ETC. I AM SURE WE WILL COME ACROSS MORE, SINCE SHE IS NOT COMPLETLY UNPACKED EVERYTHING . MY MOM HAS WORKED HARD ALL HER LIFE, TO HAVE WHAT LITTLE POSSESIONS SHE HAS. SHE DID NOT PURCHASE THE INSURANCE THAT THEY OFFERED, DUE TO HER BEING STRETCHED TO THE MAX AFTER THE MOVE AND $300 PLUS SOMETHING PER MONTH, TO STORE HER FURNITURE. ONLY INCOME SHE HAS IS HER SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK. WHEN SIGNING THE CONTRACT, YOU ARE HOPEFUL, THAT THEY WOULD BE GENTLE WITH MOVING YOUR PRIZE POSSESSIONS. ON BOXES, WERE CLEARLY MARKED-"FRAGILE" , "DISHES," BATHROOM, KITCHEN. BOXES WERE JUST PUT DOWN ,JUST ANYWHERE, THEY COULD SIT THEM. WHICH MAKES IT HARDER ON HER TO PICK UP , TO MOVE. ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE HEAVY IN WEIGHT. IN CLOSING, I HAVE CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGES FRANTICALLY, SINCE ITS GETTING TO THE END OF THE TIME FRAME, AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED A COURTESY PHONE CALL BACK, WITH SOME KIND OF RESOLUTION, ESPECIALLY FOR THE MISSING ITEMS. I FEEL SO BAD FOR MOM,AS SHE DOES NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO REPLACE THESE ITEMS, NOR TO REPAIR THEM. IT IS A SUCH SAD TIME WE LIVE IN, THAT GREED HAS TAKEN OVER SUCH COMPANIES, THAT STATE ," THEY PRIDE THEMSELVES IN "GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE", AND DOESNT DO WHAT IS RIGHT BY THEIR CLIENTS. THATS WHY ITS HARD TO UNDERSTAND, THE GREAT REVIEWS THIS COMPANY HAS HAD, WHEN HER EXPERENCE HAS BEEN SUCH A LET DOWN. I AM NOT ONE TO COMPLAIN WITH WRITING ANY KIND OF REVIEWS, AND WE GIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT MUST TIMES THAN NOT. BUT THIS HAS UPSET ME SO MUCH, THAT IT HAD TO BE TOLD.

I HIRED TWO MEN AND A TRUCK TO MOVE ME INTO A SMALLER APARTMENT ON 4/15/15. THE QUOTED ME AT 7 HRS FOR THE MOVE (AS AN "ESTIMATE") BUT ADVISED ME THAT IT SHOULDNT BE THAT LONG BASED ON MY ITEMS. BUT THEY HAD TO QUOTE ME FOR THAT. AND SINCE ITS A QUOTE ILL BE CHARGED FOR WHAT TIME I USED NO MORE NO LESS. THE HOURLY MOVE WAS $114 AN HOURS. WHEN THE TWO MEN CAME OUT HE STATED THAT SINCE MY PLACE IS SMALL WE COULD BE DONE BY NO MORE THAN 3 HRS. BUT THAT WAS NOT TRUE THE 2 MOVERS WHOM WHERE VERY SLOW, TOOK FOREVER TO MOVE MY THINGS. ALL THEY HAS TO MOVE WAS MY BIG HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. BECAUSE ALL THE SMALL THINGS (BOXES) WHERE MOVED BY ME AND MY FINACE THE NIGHT BEFORE. AS THEY WERE MOVING WE SEEN THAT THEY REALLY WASNT MOVING ANYTHING WE HAD TO ADVISE THEM TO MOVE FASTER BECAUSE IT WAS TAKING THEM TOO LONG TO GET THE THINGS OUT THE DOOR. THERE WAS NO TEAM WORK, ONE SORTED THE TRUCK WHILE ONE MOVED CERTAIN THINGS. ON TOP OF THAT, THEY DISSEMBLED MY BED AND IT TOOK A YEAR AND A DAY WHEN IT WAS A SIMPLE THING TO DO. THEY LOST 3 SCREWS TO MY BED AND NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. MY BED IS NOT PUT TOGETHER PROPERLY AND I NOW HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO REPLACE SCREWS TO MY $1500 BED. THE LADY REBECCA I COMPLAINED TO AT TWO MEN AND A TRUCK WAS VERY RUDE, AND NASTY TO ME WHEN WE DID SPEAK. SHE TOLD ME SHE WOULD TALK TO THE DRIVERS AND CALL ME BACK. AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT HER I LEFT HER A NASTY MESSAGE AND THATS WHEN SHE CALLS ME AND STATES SHE CALLED ME TWICE. SHE ONLY CALLED ONCE AND LEFT A MESSAGE, AND I RETURNED THAT CALL, BUT AGAIN SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK AFTER THAT CONVERSATION NEITHER. THIS COMPANY IS RUDE AND REBECCA THEY TOOK THE WORD OF THEIR SLOW EMPLOYEES. SINCE I WAS UPSET WITH THE SERVICE TO FIX THE PROBLEM SHE OFFERED TO TAKE 15 MINUTES OFF MY MOVE TIME TO SHUT ME UP. ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY ITS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LABOR THEY USED UP FOR JUST BEING SLOW. THEY SHOULD HAVE SENT ANOTHER MOVER TO COME OUT TO HELP THEM. THEY TOOK FOREVER AND THAT TIME ADDED UP FAST. THEY FELT THE TENSION BECAUSE WE COMPLAINED TO THE MOVERS WHILE THEY WHERE AT MY HOUSE ABOUT THEY PACE AND AFTER THEY LEFT I CALLED A SUPERVISOR ON THEM THEY SAME DAY. AGAIN ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY BUT I DONT LIKE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE WHEN IT COMES TO A SERVICE, AND IM DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET. IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO, BUT I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN PERIOD!
