We relied on Danny and his team at College Hunks - Charlotte for our recent move this past weekend. It was a local move from Huntersville to south Charlotte. We have moved many times, from NYC, Baltimore but this was by far the best experience. We were lucky to speak with Danny after our first call, he personally called us back to answer all of our questions and worries. He was very clear and flexible. He was even able to come on the day of the move, when I dont believe he had to, and stayed the entire time and didnt nickel and dime us at the end, hes a man of his word. His crew of 3 college hunks were all extremely friendly, hard working and flexible. We were never given an ounce of stress during the whole process. We highly recommend using these guys, their rates are affordable and they will take great care of your items and your home during the move. There were no major issues with our move, a minor paint scuff or two on a wall is nothing compared to the amount of work and moving they have done. Thank you so so much!!

They were just amazing. Five stars all the way!!!!! The company was easy to work with from the beginning and all the way through the process of closing down my fathers home after he died. They were readily available, easy to stay in touch with, thorough in all aspects. They moved to multiple locations at a VERY competitive price and were just a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move anything. They hauled fine things and they removed junk. The service they offer of moving items to charity is a plus, plus!! They move these items and deliver them to charity - multiple charities if desired - and all at a much reduced rate. Such a needed service - so many items that dont belong at the landfill being given to organizations who will put them to good use. They helped to make a trying time so much less painful. I appreciate them and will use them for any future moves - small or large - and I highly recommend them.

If this company tries to tell you that you will need 3men for your move, be careful of this, you may only need 2. I was told 2 guys would always be moving furniture and one would be packing the truck. I always found one of them in or out of the truck looking at their phone, or two guys in the truck with one watching. I carried many of the items from my home to be loaded. At the end they wanted to know what I would like to leave behind. They just didnt know how to pack the truck. The owner was aware that this was not a small job. If you pay $135 an hour everyone should be working. The unloading crew said they had never seen anything packed in this manner before.

We used College Hunks Hauling Junk to move my parents into a retirement home. Danny Church was extremely professional and detailed. Danny and his College Hunks far exceeded our expectations with regard to the care they took in the move. My parents have more than a few delicate and fragile pieces. Danny went far beyond what was expected in securing and transporting these pieces and made the move so much easier on my parents. Danny would not leave until every piece was where my mother wanted it and every bed was set up. Highly detailed, highly professional. I couldnt ask for more.

I contacted College hunks to remove a large wooden storage shed a couple weeks ago. They did an excellent job, were very professional and polite. I really enjoyed working with them. A couple weeks later, I contacted them and asked them to help clean out the attic - again - very impressed - they arrived on time, work very efficiently and did an excellent job. My family was very impressed with the crews - they were fantastic and polite. Very happy with College Hunks and would call them again for future work. Thanks guys!!!

Everyone I interacted with from the person who called me on the phone to the movers themselves were very friendly and professional. I needed a large, old, heavy, and awkward piece of furniture moved in my house, and these guys really stepped up to the bat. Not only did they get this 300 lb piece of furniture moved, but they made sure it was perfectly positioned to our liking. I highly recommend College Hunks.

Mo and Darius were excellent! They were very efficient with moving my things. They came prepared (without even me asking) with a large roll of...well it looks like a giant roll of saran wrap...to help me wrap all of my paintings and mirrors. They also brought a dolly and lots of furniture pads. I will be using them again for my next move when I buy another house! Thanks guys!!

This was a great company to do business with. When our move didnt go as planned, the branch owner went out of his way to work with us and make sure we had a pleasant experience. I think there was very little they could have done better. They were professionally dressed, trustful, and easy to work with. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone with an upcoming move.

The owner of this business is very engaged and will figure out to do almost anything thats a part of a move. We would recommend them for cleaning out the junk in you house when downsizing, carting stuff to Good Will, hauling things to the dump, and moving you to a new place. They move fast and their rates are good--and they call before they come and are on time!

Someone needs to teach these college "punks" how to drive. After running me off the road at 485 and John st.( exit # 52) at 3pm on 8/29/17, this "punk" starts flipping me off and cussing me out. All this with the web site and the company information all over that big truck! Not smart and definitely not good business

I cannot comment on their service but they are twice the price of other services like this! I paid $40/hour with no travel fee for labor only from Bellhops in Columbia, SC and this company is charging $110/hour with 2 hour minimum and additional travel fees for the same thing ... ridiculous!

Have used these guys twice, once moving and then moving out. Punctual, polite and hard workers. Outbound crew could use a bit more instruction/experience on getting the load tightly enough packed and securely strapped to prevent load shifting enroute.
