I was serviced on 11/19 at Dominican Hair Design Salon for a wash, semi-permanent color and a blow out by Yandi, a cosmologist at the salon. Yandi first applied the semi-permanent color and instructed me to wait 40 minutes for the color to process she then left the salon to get food when she returned about 20-30 minutes later she instructed me to sit in the waiting area until the shampoo bowl was available about a hour after allowing the semi-permanent color to process I started to feel tingling on my scalp the semi-permanent was then rinsed from hair and my hair was washed then blown out. The next day I started to have itching and being urning scalp which slowly got worse to the point my eyes were swollen shut. I returned to the salon on 11/23 and Yandi explained there wasnt anything she could do and said that this has never happened before, I then explained that I now have a 1st degree chemical burn and experiencing a allergic reaction because the semi-permanent color was left on my hair too long she continued to say there wasnt anything she could do to help me. I would not recommend this salon they are extremely rude and inconsiderate!

Just got here from NYC 6months ago and I was looking for a hair salon in GA for a while!.... Tried a lot of hair salons from Duluth to Norcross to Lawrenceville and now Tucker... Yandi one of the hairstylist did my hair... And I loved it!!! My hair last for about 2 weeks, which was surprising because my hair is curly and not a lot of people know how to blow dry my hair, after a day or two my hair would look a mess!... She really knows what shes doing I would recommend this place 100%. Went back and got color a week ago and Yandi did a wonderful job! Had so many compliments from strangers that my self esteem was super super high;!!! Lmao!!! This is my Salon for now on!!!! #1

I first loved the shampoo and blow out and flat iron. I am a 100 percent natural. For 3 years. I cut it all off and started over. But yall my texture is not the same. AT ALL. I think they snuck some relaxer in the shampoo or conditioner because its silky. I admit the conditioner tingles a little...Even after I washed it. Two weeks later. Still silky. No two strand twist for me ever again. So upset. Why would they relax my hair without asking or telling me. Dont they know we know what a relaxed hair looks like after a wash??? Guess Im not natural anymore. Really sad about that. Not coming back. Ever.

Love love love it! I have been a faithful customer for 2 years now, I will only go to Miledy for hair coloring and styling, she is the absolute best my hair always looks amazing after a trip to this salon. Staff is always polite and friendly, they are professional and the results you will get will speak for themselves! Everyone will be asking you where you got that amazing color and style, I know because everytime I leave the salon people at work and around town comment on how great it looks. If you have curly frizzy hair like mine, you need to go to Dominican Hair Design for some TLC.

I had a great experience at the beauty house of Miledy, Dominican Hair Design is the best house of beauty in GA!!! my personal experience with the excellent job they do, is based in my other salon visits and in the way the handle and manage my type of hair. they caring and knowledgeable and tend to teach and show me how to handle my hair in between visits. I had a great experience here. Very relaxing environment & customer service was excellent. My hair was washed, conditioned & blown out. Afterwards it felt healthy and looked beautiful. I felt welcomed & appreciated from the time I walked in to the time I left. Definitely recommend them!!

Natural hair beware. Some type of straightening agent was applied and my hair has not been the same. Texture and curl pattern gone. And no it was not the heat from the blow dryer.

Been here several times the wait isnt bad. The staff isnt friendly. Prices are reasonable, they dont style good like they will just straighten ur hair no curls unless you ask.
