In response to the two negative reviews..I have worked in the business for many years and have never been on this site and have never had reviews of this sort..There are two sides to a story so here is our side..We always reccomend that you get a full service and not attempt to do part of our job before coming to the salon..The lady who claimed we ripped and tore through her hair to blowdry and comb had previously worn braids before she came in(it was not combed out nor conditioned properly). It was super oily and still tangled from her having had her hair previousely braided..When I saw the New Stylist was having dificulty getting through the patrons hair I took over and finished the job as quick and skillfully I could under the circumstances..Her head was tender from her previous braid style so it was natural that the patron would endure a certain amount of discomfort..This would account for the hair loss as well..when the straightening and combing procees begins u will loose a certain amount of hair due to the non combing of the hair while resting previousely in braids..As far as the screaming in pain and crying..I was not there in the salon at this point and the stylist never reported that the incident occured. When hiring and training new stylist theres always a chance that a patron may be dissatisfied with a service..the stylist that did the cornrowing service is no longer with us. Secondly. To the woman who said she came in to get apress and curl and did not like the shampooing or service..overbooking is always a possibility in any salon but for the most part we try 2 keep an accurate scheadule..We have no problem using a PADDLE BRUSH when blowdrying or shampooing hair properly and conditioning it..we also have many satisfied clients who come in for press and curl services..we have since got rid of some of the New stylist "We stand by our work" and it is our goal to please all of our clients..It is very unfortunate and dishardening that you experienced a bad visit when so many of our clients are satisfied so I will personally take care of you and make sure your needs are met..Also examples of our work can be viewd on facebook Go to Lees Hair Boutique for more info

I am not normally the person to take the time to rate a business, however, I have been a client of the new owners for over 10 years now and I have to give praise, where praise is due. The owner of Lees Hair Boutique has been my stylist since I was 14. I previously wore a relaxer before coming to her and transitioned into chemical-free wearing of my hair. I can say that she has done wonders for my hair. I was so pleased after the first few times that she did my hair, that my mother, aunt and several friends now go to her as well. I get compliments everywhere I go on how healthy my hair is, and from other stylists. Even when I moved to San Diego, I still made the 3 hour drive to her so that she could do my hair because I trust no one else. I now live in Atlanta, GA and my hair misses her dearly! She is excellent at natural hair, has tons of clients with long and beautiful tresses and I have NEVER heard or seen anyone complain. She is skillful and knowledgeable in hair care, as she can always tell when someone else has done my hair because it does not have the same health or bounce to it. My mother, aunt, and I only trust her to cut, color, or press our hair and it is the reason why we have been dedicated clients. I will say that a hair stylist is an artist and their job is to work from start to finish. In reply to some previous ratings, it makes no sense to not have a stylist do your hair from start to finish. A good wash and conditioning with the correct products for your texture hair is just as important, if not more important than the actual style, as it lays the foundation. Trusting the stylist is a crucial part of your experience. My family and I adore the owner of the salon she has done wonders with keeping our hair healthy, full, and without chemicals. She truly stands by her work and she has created masterpieces with our hair.

Not happy with the new stylist in this salon. Note this is not chocolate factory anymore they have a new owner since about Dec 2010. I must say the girls are nice but are not professional. I went to get a press in curl. I have curly ethnic hair. Well lets first start by saying they over book and dont value their clients time. They took me and had another lady waiting forever for her half done weave to be complete. They stylist was to busy to wash me so she had a hispanic girl wash my hair, the colorist. It was awful, the girl used a brush to wash my scalp witch actually made my hair more tangled. I have never had my hair washed like this. The stylist already knew the girl could not wash hair as when she left they made comments that my hair probably need to be washed again . Well they did wash it but they did just as bad as her. So I went on to get my hair pressed, they blow dried and detangled which was a awful. The stylist started detangling from the root down which ripped my hair out and damaged. Then she blew dry it with a comb instead of the proper way with a brush. I call it the ghetto way , before a stylist goes to beauty school. She went on to flat iron my hair but did NOT put any heat protection in my hair! She burnt my hair and I left there with burnt, smelly, dandruff, dirty hair. It was the worst hair I have ever had. The girl and owner were really nice but they may be better suited for doing weaves and braids . If you have health hair and want to keep it that way steer away from this place

SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worse customer service ever. Beginning with rep who answered the phone, to the sarcastic condescending tech they sent. When you initially call in youre not told what pricing to expect as its based on the situation, and the techs discretion - Completely understandable. When the tech arrives and tells you the ridiculous price, you will also at that time find out they charge a fee of $15 to even send a tech out.- Also understandable, but something the rep could have told me on the phone, definitely not something I have to wait for the tech to surprise me with when hes here, and you have no choice. In my specific situation, my tech started at a "firm company price" but when I decided not to move forward, somehow he was able to haggle that price down a couple different numbers. While its great that he offered lower bids, I do not appreciate the dishonesty. To top it off the unprofessionality of being told -"Now youre just being prideful" when my spouse called and told me he found another option. Keep in mind I am a person who works too, I understand how businesses are ran, and throughout the entire interaction I made your tech aware that it was not hes fault, and that they should have told me before they gave him the call; I was extremely adamant about paying the $15 show up fee, because again - not his fault. But they way your company handled this, and the way your tech treated a customer is unacceptable.
