I went in to locate a hard to find Manual trans Jetta or Passat. I started speaking with Frankie Palazzo (trainee?) made us walk the lot to peek inside cars to find manual transmissions (how about checking the online inventory?). Eric Lee (good manager) finally took over and found a car at the "dock" (through the online master inventory...) that would have to be transported in. We started talking price and numbers. I wasnt looking for an appraisal for my trade-in yet since we just met and were just started the process, but I agreed for them to just take a quick look at my vehicle since we had nothing else to do while waiting on more information on the new vehicle. While looking at my car, I was harassed by Peter Panos (used car sales) in the parking lot with him explaining that my manual trans jetta will "die on their lot" and not get much trade in value. He then looked at a dent on edge of the door and claimed that "someone tried to break in by prying at the door". Funny thing is I accidentally dented that door on a wall and heard about it for weeks by my wife. Next they started asking me what I felt a fair price would be for the trade in, I explained multiple times that I didnt know since I didnt appease it yet. I had all three men ask me that same question multiple times, finally they threw a number of $5-6k. I said I would think about it and get back to them since I wasnt driving off the lot with a car that they didnt have. Peter Panos was the Final nail in the coffin when he and his ("I am very agressive and very loyal" quoted from LinkedIn) sales style, when he a) suggested that we just bought what they had in stock in their lot, b) explained all of the problems with having to ship the car in (being $800), c) all of the problems it entailed by getting a driver there and back. I never questioned price for delivery, stating thats not a problem. d) insisted I should have an idea of the value. His tone became loud to me and my wife, and other customers noticed. After about 10 minutes of this, I became fed up with his attitude, took my kids and told him we were done. I walked out the door telling Eric and staff that he is the reason Im walking out. Eric apologized in the parking lot and tried to get us back in, and followed up with a quoted email. I dont appreciate disrespectful and pushy treatment and my waste of time, which is very valuable. We also got to have a talk with the kids on the way home about not accepting poor treatment. We sold the car to CarMax for $9000 (6k is a joke) in 1hr, and I purchased a 2015 Passat TDI From Fletcher Jones VW Chicago who went above and beyond. I was out the door in less than 2 hours with our new car, and I cant recommend them more.

I leased a 2016 Tiguan here last week and had the BEST experience. My jeep was being serviced at the nearby Larry Roesch Jeep dealer and it was either I invest in it or get a new car. So, I test drove some jeeps over there-thinking I was STILL a jeep customer...needless to say after a few hours of wasted time, I walked out disappointed that my 3-hour experience left me exhausted and stressed. My boyfriend (a loyal VW customer) convinced me to stop at the Larry Roesch VW dealer to “just look” at the Tiguan I’d been eyeing. My attitude was changed almost immediately at the Volkswagen dealership. Ryan greeted us at the door and had us in a 2016 Tiguan in less than 5 minutes from when we arrived! His energy was absolutely contagious when talking about the VW brand. I was shocked to learn that all of the features I was hoping for were included in a standard model (back up cam, blue tooth, leather seats, heated seats/mirrors…the list goes on!)… they didn’t even want to SHOW me a standard model at the jeep dealer….I knew this was the car I NEEDED to have within the first 30seconds. I basically named my price range, and this team made it happen. Chuck, the sales manager, was knowledgeable and informative when we were discussing my options. They accepted my trade and gave me a great, affordable price on my Tiguan. J.R. was quick and efficient with all of the paperwork and as a 20-something going through the process....he made it simple and easy to understand. Needless to say, I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. NOT ONCE, did I feel rushed, pressured, or uninformed. All of the gentlemen I worked with made this process so effortless and easy. I would recommend this to any-and everyone looking to lease or buy a new vehicle. Thank you so much Ryan, Chuck, and J.R.! Youve earned a very loyal customer!

I would overall not recommend doing business with Larry Roesch Volkswagon of Bensenville. Looking for the perfect car sometimes takes a couple of months and it was unfortunate that Larry Roesch was the dealer with the “perfect car”. After a clean title check and looking at some good posted pictures online, I was ready to put down my security deposit. After putting down several hundred dollars to hold the car, I was told that they would hold the car for at least through the weekend. I was very happy and excited that I would be able to soon take home a great deal…. Or so I thought. Later in the weekend, I got a call from one of the sale representatives. They informed me that the owner’s daughter had a friend that was looking for a car and despite the deal we had made, being reinforced with the security deposit, the car was taken that night. Of course in any business, the owner reserves the right to make certain decisions. But, I resent the fact that after putting money down on a car and coming to a deal, the owner in one swift move had no apology or regard for the customer. This would not be considered having good customer service or ethics for that matter. When it was time to get the security deposit back, although eventually returned, it was only by threat of getting a lawyer involved was the money cleared on my credit card account. It took a couple of days even before the credit card provider even saw anything “pending.” On the up-side, the sales representatives that I dealt with where friendly, answered all questions enthusiastically, and were prompt and polite in returning phone calls and emails. Unfortunately, higher management did not share the same professionalism. At the very least, I would advise buying new, and not to EVER put money down in ANY situation. These guys cannot be trusted.

CAN I JUST SAY EVERYONE WAS GREAT! I started off with Aaron Gaus; my sales guy. Aaron was attentive, answered all my questions and after the purchase made sure I knew everything about my car. He took the time to help me set up everything and I do mean everything "My car is loaded!. A computer on wheels". Sales managers Chuck P. and Richard also attentive and answered all my questions; wanted to make sure I was happy. Can I say "I am very happy!" I know sales guys do what they have to do but can I say each and everyone of these individuals went above and beyound providing great customer service. I got my car for an excellent price; they met my needs. I know you might be wondering how much.......but you have to go find out for yourself what these guys can do for you. Customer service excellent!!! Then there was the grand finale "financing". Marijana M. Financing Manager got me a good financing rate. She went through the purchasing contract carefully making sure I understood everything. She never rushed me once. I had lots of questions and she answered everyone of them; over and over again until I understood......Now thats service! After everything was done; they presented my Black Diamond on a platter. The car was in the service garage by itself shinny and new......Presentation is everything!!!!! The guy who cleaned my car; I did not get his name but I have to say thank you. I have to say this! If you looking for a great well made car, great sales people and great customer service this is your place "Larry Roesch VW in Bensenville, Illinois". THANKS YOU.
