Id give no stars if I could! The worst decision bringing my car here. We sat here almost all afternoon. Got the oil change and left because we had our 8 month old with us and couldnt wait for the part they claimed we needed. The manager wouldnt let me pay and said to pay later when I returned. He just wanted to get more money out of me. Charged me a new brake switch I didnt even need (labor cost almost $90!!) when really all I needed was a fuse but they wrote on my receipt that the fuse was replaced at no charge - sneaky. They didnt want to charge me for just a fuse. I paid $160 after they said the brake lights were fixed and guess what? No lights worked!! They told me to come back Monday and this was Mothers Day weekend. I couldnt believe I was out $160 and they didnt complete the job all because they wanted to go home at 5pm, wow! Luckily my fiance fixed it, not the guys at Merlin. When we went back on Monday, we had the worst customer service experience with rude and obnoxious Scott. Told him our car was making a weird sound and didnt feel safe to drive. He said now were blaming him for any and everything, instead of taking a look at it. Had our mechanic come to our house and he said they broke my heat shield when they jacked it up. Owner called me saying he would fix the brake lights (even though they were fine) and repair the heat shield but returned my car in the same shape. They lied and said my car wasnt making any sounds when they drove it. Even though I was refunded half of my money, since I left their shop Saturday Ive gotten it towed twice and now have to sell my car because I cannot afford repairs. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

I am so disappointed in this company. I took my husbands car to Merlin at the beginning of the year because it needed "front" brakes and was told that it had also needed rotors and struts and the bill was going to be well over $600. Not knowing much about cars, (and Im sure they could tell that I didnt), I trusted them and proceeded with the service. I was also told that I would have a lifetime warranty on the brakes, if they need to be replaced. Here it is, December, and we need new "front" brakes all over again. So, I sent my husband back there because of the "lifetime warranty" and they (Scott) told him that the warranty didnt apply because it was the "rear" brakes that had been repaired the first time. They even produced a receipt where the service was falsified by indicating it was the "rear" brakes. Unfortunately for me, I didnt read the fine print on my original receipt and blindly trusted them to provide accurate information. Then on top of that, they told my husband that it was going to be $500 for the "same" work that they had performed in February. I am very disappointed and will never return there again!!!!!

Rude and Dis-honest. Last time got the oil changed through them. Over tighten the Oil Filter cartridge to a point when I tried to change oil next time myself it would not open up. So I went head and changed the oil only. And today when again my oil change is due I took it to them they drain my old oil and saying Oil Filter cartridge would not open and we require $28 to open it and new Cartridge would cost $80. I looked up online new cartridge is $25 on amazon. I said ok go ahead put oil back ill take it to toyota, now saying we will charge you for whole oil change price even though we are not changing oil filter. Be aware. Dont take your car to them as they are not professionals. Bunch of thieves. Lastly, I am sure they would not even do oil filter change if I was not looking my car though the glass and would have told me its done.

Have had great service here, really helped to diagnose a couple problems. Last visit for oil change, i went to drop off and he asked me if im doing the 30 dollar full service to top off all fluids. I said woah that went up, he says yeah, i asked what happened to the 20 dollar special, he said they werent doing it anympre, i grabbed my keys to leave and noticed the sign oitsode said oil service special 19 dollars, i said uhh wait what about your sign? he said wait just the basic oil change, i said yes thats all i need, another customer then got furious becuase he had asked for anuthing cheaper and the employee had denied any cheaper option. Great company, pick a different location

We were five hundred miles away from home, headed to a funeral when our tire went flat. After Triple AAA changed the tire to our spare, we drove to Merlins to have the tire fixed or replaced. Frank and his team discovered that air had leaked from the valve simply because the ball inside had gotten jammed out of place. They took the time to refill it, check it twice and then head us on our way within 45 minutes and AT NO CHARGE since there wasnt anything they replaced. I cant tell you what a relief it is to have such caring individuals when you encounter a problem miles from home and under stressful circumstances (death in the family). Thank you! Thank you! I took my car here a long time ago and there was this 510 white dude with curly short short brown hair who quickly pointed out what to me was wrong on my car. The quote they gave me was $125 when most of the other places wanted $155. On the other hand, went there 10 months ago and got boned on a oil change. They didnt check my fluids. My power steering pump seized and threw a belt. $90 plus my time. Pump was fine just added fluid and replaced the belt. Boom easy as pie. Jeez bro. Do ur job.

I recently had the most pleasant experience at this shop. The staff was very friendly and they helped me understand the brake work that was required and did the job within the promised time. The person at the front desk even offered me a complimentary ride back home while the work was being done but I chose to stay and watch. I wish I had known about the free wifi. I will be bringing my laptop with me next time.

Unless Merlins has changed & loss their good Mechanics, I had work done here in Sept, 2012 and they were great, I had my timing belt changed and some other minor work done, No problems at all!!! Im even going to "Tow" my car from Nashville Tn to Merlins for work to be done. PLEASE; I hope they didnt lose their good workers. I think Ill try the one in Fayetteville Georgia instead!!!!

I came in 15 mins before closing because I hit a pot hole, not only did they take me in and get me taken care of, they gave me a warranty on the tire so if it happens again, I could come in and get a replacement,free of charge . after a long day of work and this happens , but they definitely made it better ! thanks Frank (newbie)!!!

Not even one star- but required to select in order to post. SHAME ON YOU! You claimed my elderly mothers car needed $1,600 of brake work done. Took it someplace else - and it was only $150 to replace a line. Trying to take advantage of the elderly is lowest of the low! Dont take your car here!
