I decided to try Midas, actually after reading a post that I felt was biased and discriminatory, in reference to a bunch of Mexicans hanging out there. Hearing people talk like that, ticks me off, which I dont know that people ever recognize the words they say, and how it comes across. Its not fair and its not right. Ill challenge the post and give it a try. I called, spoke with Andy on the phone, who was polite, friendly, and they were able to get my car in the same day. I bought a used car, and of course, worried about the purchase, without having a mechanic look at it. I figured Id do an oil change right away, and wanted it checked out for any unseen problems. The front tie rods needed to be replaced. It made sense, and the reason I felt a slight pull to the left when driving at a higher speed, which I didnt even mention to Midas. No one looks forward to a car repair, but Id rather drive a vehicle knowing its safe. I didnt want to wait the entire time, it would take a couple of hours. The time I was there, Id overhear Andy work with customers, and speaking honestly with them, about repairs, costs, what they were looking at, and whether it was worth it. I didnt get the feeling in the least, it was a place that would take advantage of customers. When it was done, they had one of the mechanics give me a drive back to the shop. They warranty the work they do and Id definitely go there again. ....for the guy posting that I needed an alignment and was ripped off with new tie rods, that really bothers me. You werent there, you didnt even look at the car, so how you can make an educated guess without even looking at the car? I went here a second time. The car was hanging low in the back, after driving through a few alleys. I figured air suspension, it could be the compressor, maybe the shocks, thinking it might be the worst and likely costly. Nick the mechanic discovered what it was, a small replacement part, coupler. I didnt even get charged for the part, unless its the 1.79 for shop supplies. I paid $61.50 in all. Car is back to normal. I was thrilled. I told they guys, they were awesome. Another woman went in while I was there, because her turn signals werent working, quoted $10 for a replacement part, which was ordered from the dealer, so that somewhat blows the cheap universal replacement parts theory out of the water. Wheres the upsell that this poster insists Midas does?

Been to these guys twice now, once because my battery died on my (got jumped to get over there) and the second time today. Getting the new battery took about 15 minutes, and they did not pressure me at all about better batteries (although I did end up going with a higher quality one, maybe hes a good salesman). Second time was today and I had a heat-shield for my cat converter hanging off the bottom and scrapping the road. Now, the guy could have told me anything, and charged me anything...I needed to get this fixed. Instead, told me that it was not a critical part, that if i really wanted it replaced id have to go to the dealer (but that he wouldnt bother), and he put my car up on the lift and cut the piece off. The whole thing took about 10 minutes. This guy won my trust - and a new life long customer.

I had a coolant leak and wanted to get an estimate of the repair, but without looking at the car its hard to know what to estimate for. I spoke to the guy at the desk on the phone and he said to bring it in. I was there to get an estimate and compare prices with other shops (this is a $700 dollar Lower intake minfold repair by the way) The guy made me feel like I was bringing it in to get a free diagnoses, like I was some criminal, I didnt like his attitude at all, you could tell he was a real douche bag growing up as a kid. Instead of having the work done there I paid $800 and had it done at a shop closer to me. He lost my business that day and I recommend no one else go into the shop either.

This is the third visit to this stop for brakes. Each visit the people working behind the counter and under the car knew exactly what they were doing. Each time the quote for repairs was higher that the actual bill. In all cases they had me in and our in less than 90 minutes. There prices, knowledge and customer communication were excellenent, not to mention there prices were significantly lower than the dealer and A LIFETIME GUARENTEE for the work done is standard. There really isnt a need to look any further for the best service and pricing that THIS MIDAS DEALER. Other midas shops offer the same guarentee but the work at this stop cant be BEAT

I have had both of my cars in for maintenance and repairs over the last two years since I moved here. I consider myself fortunate to have found them. It started with trying to get my oil changed. Several places I had tried were too busy to even talk to me or rude when they did. Andy gave me a time to come back and everything went smoothly. Since then I had been back several times and have always been pleased. I was hoping to find a shop I could trust like the one I left behind from my previous home. This is it! Thanks Andy.

I broke down in front of this Midas shop and the guys were extremely helpful and considerate. I live in the city and needed to just get home. They helped me out--didnt charge me for the fluids they added and gave me helpful advice of what to tell my mechanic back in the city. No, they are NOT only about money!!! Like me, maybe your car breakdown put you in such a bad mood, you took it out on the shop. They were more than accommodating and I couldnt recommend this place more. Great guys at Midas.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!! Great staff and easy to work with when I had to take my car in for brakes. They got me in really fast and the turn around time was one day. They called me to let me know how much everything was going to cost before they started the work to get my OK to more forward with the work. They found my car needed additional work and didnt pressure me into doing the work. Awesome shop to work with and I would send all my friends to this location.

2 of my old coworkers always brought their car here and highly recommended this shop. I have been taking my car there ever since and this was over 3 years ago. They are always friendly, personable, honest, professional and they do great work and I trust them with my car. They never pressure me into anything I dont need. There are 2 other Midas that are closer to home for me yet I will still drive out to Westmont because Andy and his crew are the best.
