I brought them a gas tank from my classic car which had a lot of varnish and some rust. I dropped it off with "Len" and he was very friendly and assured me that the tank would be cleaned in 3 days. He also said that he would call me after the first hr of work and tell me what I could expect to pay. Having received no call by day 4, I called them and they explained that it was pretty gunked up and was requiring lots of work. I was convinced that they had not even started to work on it. A week and 2 days (and 4 calls to the shop) later I finally got the tank back, which was clean but at the very top range of his quote. The service was terrible. I was promised a call to update me about 4 times. Never received one call from them. On top of that it was expensive too.

I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Very bad experience with my car. They did the repair but while they repaired it they damaged the car. Lots of scratches in the interior and all over the dashboard and door. The plush had oily mechanical finger prints. I told them to clean it 3 times and they didnt even clean all of it up. They cut under the dashboard on the passengers side. I brought a perfect car interior to them and it was in a horrible condition after I picked it up. They said they would fix it and call me the next day, but they never called. They charge expensive and work carelessly.

Awful, sketchy, rude people. Overpriced cars and bad representation. Came here with my boyfriend to purchase a 17 year old car that was priced for $7,000 rust was everywhere, they agreed to change bumper, fix rust on roof, and inner lining, when we showed up to purchase none of the above had been done and then the owner stated "she said that but never fully agreed" the tires on the car wouldnt last another month. Since we are young (19 yo) she very obviously stated how she thought we didnt have the money (we did). They do not finance. I suggest go to a REAL dealership. Scamming people.

We have lived in Downers Grove for 25 years and 8 years ago added 2 more family cars. We have used A-len on multiple occasions and for a wide variety of vehicle problems. I do not personally know Len and his wife but I can say that on every occasion they have been friendly and honest about each situation. I have told neighbors and family about their consistant service and honest business approach which is why our family will support their business for many years to come. Very nice to have them and what they offer in Downers Grove.

My family has been going here for years starting with my grandma. They are a family owned business and have exceptional customer service. They remember you every time you come in and always have your best interest at heart. They are very honest and never try do anything to your car without full disclosure and wont encourage things that are not deemed necessary. I love that I can drop off my car and know that I will not be pressured and that my car will be repaired properly. I recommend This company to anyone and everyone!

For more than 10 years Ive had A Len do all types of maintenance and repair work on my vehicles - from big projects like air conditioning, brakes, suspension and tune ups to minor fixes and repairs. They consistently do high quality, dependable work at very reasonable prices. They are honest and reputable and a pleasure to do business with. Theyve kept my 11, 15 and 17 year old vehicles running great. Im very happy with them and wish everyone did as good a job as A Len. I recommend them highly.

My family and I have been servicing our vehicles at A-Len for many years. I never had a problem with my vehicle that A-Len couldnt fix ! I love that they can custom build any line from transmission, AC, and power steering lines for those of you that own older vehicles like I do ! All there lines are backed with a warranty. Im a strong believer in you get what you pay for! Thats is why I always trust A-Len with all of my vehicles and my familys vehicles!

I have nothing but fantastic things to share about A-Len Automotive. I have an 2007 S550 4-Matic with over 140K miles on it and have taken it to A-Len to be repaired several times. They are both fast, effective and cost at least half of what Id spend at the Mercedes Dealership. Theyve got a customer for life and I refer them whenever a colleague or friend needs service. A-Len has my highest recommendation!
