The owner and the techs were very helpful during my first visit with my Harley. However, when I came back the second time to replace my Corvettes tires, I felt somewhat cheated. I called the owner several times to discuss makes, models, and prices of tires I should get for the car. I did this because Duxler in Libertyville had very competitive pricing. The owner was helpful and assured me that Continental ExtremeContact DW tires are a good choice for me and that for $1100, they can mount and align the tires. Happy with the result, I chose to come here because Duxler quoted me the same price but is considerably farther. After dropping off the car, the owner called and said the tires came but the front tires ordered were the wrong size. He said I gave him the wrong size (which is possible, so no complaint here), and the correct size will cost $30 bucks more per tire and will have to be next week. I agreed. Afterwards, he called and said one of the tire sensors is broken, and itll be an extra $70. I agreed. Then he contacted again and said my car is too low to be aligned on their machine, and that itll be an extra $30-40 to do it on another machine. I declined and was a little frustrated by this point. I decided to go somewhere else because I was sick of these extra costs. When I finally picked up the car, the car looked great. I signed the receipt and happily went home. But then when I looked at the receipt more carefully, I realized the tires were Goodyear tires and not Continentals. Not only that, the front ones were All season and the rear ones Summer Performance (Eagle F1 Supercar). I contacted the owner right away and he said he didnt remember us talking about Continentals, and thought we were talking Goodyears this whole time. I reluctantly asked if these tires are comparable to the Continentals and he said yes, which I found out through my research that Eagle F1 Supercar tires have terrible reviews. I texted him later and asked if he can switch them out due to my extreme dissatisfaction with the tires, he ignored my texts and had not replied. Very disappointed. I was extremely happy to have met a local shop with a friendly staff. I will now take my business elsewhere.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a reliable place to start taking my car to. My car runs on synthetic oil so I dont need oil changes every time; I follow the maintenance guide for my car instead. I called them up and listed the various things I needed checked and standard maintenance to be done. I was excited that they could drive me to work while they fixed up my car. I had to wait a little in the morning for them to assist me, and then the guy ran a little late to pick me up (it was rush hour, understandable). I got a text or two with updates and a request for a small amount of additional work to be done; that was nice. But while they were really nice, I found out the guy forgot to note that my tires needed rotating. I had to wait 20 extra minutes at the shop for it to be done when they had my car all day. They never double checked with me what needed to be done. There was no compensation for them forgetting or even a simple apology; he made me feel like I was in the wrong and had never told him I wanted a tire rotation (again, I had my manual in front of me while on the phone and listed what needed to be done). While they are local and very nice, I was very disappointed. Unfortunately I will have to take my business elsewhere.

Weve been taking our cars here for a couple years now and theyre terrific. I try to do the simple things myself (brakes, oil changes) but our 18 year old, 170k+ mile car has needed some bigger projects and they are really great at understanding what we really "need" to do to keep it safely on the road without breaking the bank. Work usually comes in at or under the estimate given. I really feel like they care about our car and about us being happy with the work done and they give us advice we can trust. Id highly recommend Advanced VTech to anyone looking to get work done on their car.

This is a feedback after my first visit to Advanced VTech. My car needed an oil change and I thought that I would check them out for potential future maintance and repairs on my 2014 Kia Sorento. David was very professional and friendly. He gave me a quick tour. The facility is very modern and clean. I saw that they are also servicing fleets from cities and companies. I felt very confident that my car would be in good hands. The service took less than 1 hour, all went very smoothly. I probably found a very good "car doctor". Check them out. BP

Decided to try this place after I received a typical bloated quote from my dealer for a brake replacement. This place was professional and courteous from the first phone call. Gave a ride back to my home after I dropped off the car. Couldnt be happier with the service and it was about 50% cheaper than the dealer if you count the loaner that I would have had to pay for with my dealer. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely go back to them in the future.
