Within couple of months of me moving to Wheeling I needed to replace my tie rod ends. This shop was on my way to work and pretty close from where I lived so I called to inquire about the price etc. The guy I talked to on phone would not even believe me when I said I needed tie rod ends replaced. He spent about 5 minutes interrogating me as to how I know that my car need tie rod ends. After finally convincing the guy that I know a little bit about cars and I know exactly whats wrong with the car he gave me a time of day to bring the car in. When I took my car to here they checked it out and the estimation was $750. It knocked my socks off considering the part is only about $40 (racing versions of the part cost $90) and the two hours of labor would be max even for a first time mechanic. I could have done it myself but I wasnt about to freeze myself to death working outside in middle of January. So when I mentioned this to the guy he refused to even entertain me. He said as the part is too difficult to take out he will change the entire tie-rod assembly. Bogus. Long story short, I took my car to my regular mechanic who moved about 60 miles away few weeks before this happened and he changed both sides of tie-rod ends and a did a four wheel alignment for $400. Now that I bought a house and can do my own repairs in my own garage I dont have to step into shops like these. Too difficult to take a tie rod end out yeah right!

Excellent auto service from great locally-owned business. Weve been coming here for two years, and now bring our cars here for all service and repairs. Bill, Dave and their team provide great quality repair and service (better than Ive experienced from any dealer or service chain, e.g., Midas), pricing is significantly below that of dealer repair shops, and service extras are a nice plus - I think you get a free wash with all service, waiting room has free coffee and wifi, and you can often get a free loaner car to drive while yours is being repaired/serviced. As an example of the great service, we had our Sonata in for 30k service and Dave noticed an oil leak. Since the repair was under warranty (from dealer only) his team took the car 25 min. to the dealer, had it repaired, and brought it back - all at no charge to us (free repair under warranty). Plus, since the dealer didnt fix the leak properly it needed more work later. Daves team took the car to the dealer for us, had them do the repair right, and brought the car back - all at $0 cost to us. Now thats great service!

After years of going to another automotive center and walking away with $600 or more in auto repairs everytime I had an oil change, I decided it was time to find someone new. I was referred to Wheeling Auto with the description of: The waiting area is like a doctors office! I was sold! A clean place to wait or loaner cars available if you need it? Sounds lovely! The guys are nothing but wonderful, they remember who you are and are more like a friend than a repair shop. They take the time to explain the work that is being done, no matter how big or small. I always feel welcome and most importantly don’t feel dumb when I say my car is making a “brrmmp” noise. They actually check out the “brrmmp” instead of laughing at you. Thank You Wheeling Auto!

For a repair shop they were better than average with customer service. They were upfront about repairs and costs with my high mileage BMW and gave me straight info to make a decision about repairs. They are not the cheapest around although competitive and do ok work. Heres what I didnt like: - they refuse to use customer supplied OEM/OE BMW parts even though customer parts may be superior to their parts. - I noticed they did the least amount of work possible even though my car had other leaks in the same area that needed repair. I discovered this later when I investigated and fixed the leaks myself. Even though it saved me money, I had to do my own diagnosis and it didnt inspire confidence in giving me a good picture of my vehicles condition.

We bought a used car from a local dealership. After having the car for a couple of months, I brought the car in to get checked out. They found several major things wrong with it. They said it was a death trap. Brian and Dave let my wife hold on to the loaner car for a few days, til I could get in touch with the dealership and try to get them to fix things. I have had them work on my cars a few times and every time they are very helpful and friendly! I will never go anywhere else to have my cars worked on. Brian and Dave are the Best!!!! They really care about their customers. It is hard to find a good and trusted mechanic. Thank you Brian and Dave for everything!!!

Best repair shop ever! Wheeling Auto Center takes such good care of my vehicle that it is still reliable with over 266 thousand miles on it! Every repair or maintenance they did was done correctly, unlike my experience with other repair shops in the past. The service managers are good listeners and really care about your needs and wants. Plus they have given me a loaner car for free when I have requested one! They always let me know an estimate before any repairs and get my okay to do the work. Their prices are very reasonable, which is why I also got new tires from them recently. I scheduled an early appointment and they put the new tires on in time for me to get to my job.

I have an "older" car which has been "cared" for by Wheeling Auto Center for about 10 years. They have always been honest and have replaced things that are under their warranty without charge that I would have missed, as they keep better records and track of my car than I do. When I originally brought the car in they made a list of at least ten things that needed attention and prioritized it. There was only one thing that needed immediate attention. They could have easily told me to do more and taken advantage of me, instead I left with a prioritized manageable list. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. It is always clean and friendly. The loaner car is a blessing.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Wheeling Auto center for the past 8 years and they are simply the best. I have referred them to many friends and business acquaintances over the years and all have commented to me how good the service is at WAC. Recently we had an issue with my wifes 2003 Maxima that was extremely difficult to solve. It had to do with intermittent communication between the transmission computer and the main computer for the car. The whole WAC team stayed with the problem until they finally got to the root cause which they repaired without additional cost to us! Truly OUTSTANDING! Keep it up Dave, Bill, Lisa and the rest of the gang at WAC.
