I was going to Chicago for work when my car died. My car was towed to MacLagens auto. By shortly after noon, I had the diagnosis, a blown head gasket. I was quoted a fair price but opted not to have the car repaired due to its age. This was some of the best customer service I have ever received. I would recommend ANYBODY in the Gurnee area to have MacLagen service their vehicle. If I didnt live 80 miles away, I would go there in a heartbeat.

After college I could only afford a used 97 Ford Taurus. Five years later my car is still running great! This mechanic is honest, easy to talk to, and always always gets my car back to me in a timely manner. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Their customer service is horrible. I went to the shop and nobody was at the front to assist me then when I called the number the person who answered was very rude and unprofessional I will never be using their services or recommend anyone to do so!
