I decided to take my laptop to Chicago ComputerLand LLC after reading all of the fantastic reviews; and that was one the best decisions I could have made. I am currently 100% satisfied with the service I received. . I went into ComputerLand LLC on November 21, 2015 with a laptop that would not boot up. When I turned it on there was a black screen and constant beeping. I asked the ComputerLand LLC employee if he thought they could fix it. He said yes and informed me that they would do diagnostics to ascertain what the problem was and would call me back with an estimate. A couple days later I was called back and informed that I needed a new motherboard. I found the price quoted to be fair so I agreed to the repair. I was called a few days later and told that the motherboard had been replaced but there was an issue with the windows install. They backed up all my files and fixed the windows issue. Not only is it fixed; it works better than it did when I first purchased it. This is a laptop that has never really worked since I purchased it and now it works better than new. CHCAGO COMPUTERLAND LLC ARE MIRACLE WORKERS. I am so happy I made the decision to take my laptop here. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. The staff is great and the customer service is top notch.They call and provided detailed updates regarding repairs and they always gave an estimate regarding the price of the repairs. I recommend Chicago Computerland llc 100%. Dont walk; run to CHICAGO COMPUTERLAND LLC.

Stephan did a great job fixing my computer. I called on Friday, he answered my questions politely. I arrived at his store on Saturday 9 am. I had accidentally flipped the number 4 & letter e key pads off my laptop & tried to fix it by supergluing it. Bad idea. I told Stephan my problem & he fixed it within minutes. My boyfriend had ordered replacement key pads for me online which made the it much easier, I made a stupid mistake gluing the keypads back on, but Stephan never made me feel stupid when I explained my problem, which I really appreciate. What really stood out to me during my interaction with Stephan was his willingness to help people. While Stephan was fixing my laptop, a man came in, asked Stephan if he could use his computer to print out a paper & if Stephan could teach him how to scan or fax the sheet. Stephan told him sure, go ahead & log onto my computer. When Stephan finished fixing my laptop, I shook his hand & said thank you, The other man in the store told me that Stephan that his friend recommended Stephan to him & that he always helps him & his friend out.I came into the store a bit grumpy on a Saturday morning but left feeling really happy- Stephan renewed my faith in people- just a nice guy willing to help people out. Street parking- must pay Store is easy to find. Great customer service High integrity Would highly recommend Will return for any future computer needs.

I returned from a recent business trip late on a Saturday evening to find my laptop wouldnt power on whatsoever once I made it home. Fearing the worst, I looked for whoever I could find that would be open the next day (Sunday) to diagnose and repair this pending disaster ASAP. I found these guys on Yelp and saw that they were in my neighborhood and actually open the following day so I decided to go to them first. I couldnt have made a better decision. When I dropped by shortly after they opened up, they explained their diagnostic processing and rates, which were more than reasonable. They reassured me that they felt like it was a simple power source issue but let me know theyd open it up, test it, and (hopefully) repair it no later than the following day. I couldnt have been more relieved when they called me less than 24 hours later to let me know they fixed my power problem and my laptop was fine! I was thrilled to swing by later that day and pick it up, and Id like to note that their repair fees were EXTREMELY fair and reasonable. If you are having issues with your computer I cant recommend Chicago Computerland enough. Professional, courteous, and highly efficient. Reasonably priced and open on Sundays. What more could you ask for?

These guys are the best. They are fast, friendly, honest, affordable and very fair. My computer went down and I needed 1) a document retrieved urgently 2) then my computer fixed if it was affordable. Both tasks were handled extremely well and not only did I decide to have them fix the computer since it was so reasonably priced, they actually only charged me half of their original quote (which I had already agreed upon) for document retrieval since it was easier than they thought it might be. They also did extra maintainance like removal of severe dust buildup at no extra charge (and they were kind enough to take and show me pictures of the computer inside for what they worked on). Like with auto repair there is a degree of trust involved--most of us have no real idea what is actually wrong with the inside of ones computer but these guys seemed happy to find that my computer only needed the "cheaper option" to get back running (video card repair as opposed to complete motherboard replacement). Overall terrific experience and would definitely use them again without hesitation.

This was not a good experience. I had a small issue about a video driver for a new card, I was told to come in at 9am because that was when the technician would be there. I waited there with my computer until he finally showed up a half hour late. By the way, the whole place smells like axe body spray. Yuck. I was looking for information about how to properly install the driver and if I needed maybe return the video card. 5 minutes later all he told me was that it was fixed and he did it his way. He didnt tell me what the issue was just promptly charged me 40 dollars and when I questioned him he said "I should have charged you 100 dollars." The window has big lettering that reads "FREE DIAGNOSIS" and underneath taped a sign in small letters "with service" the bottom line here is that I didnt authorize any work to be done, I came in with a question about what I can do to get my driver to work, and with zero communication, was charged 40 dollars, and I never even learned what was wrong. DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS.

Awful experience here. Brought in my laptop with a cracked screen, the guy replaced it with a totally different screen instead of just giving me a matte finish screen like original. Also, while repairing it he cracked a piece out of the case in the corner and I didnt realize until I got home. When I asked him about it he said that thats how it was before! Then he had the nerve to tell me he could get new casing for an extra cost!! Awful experience here, really felt taken advantage of and theres nothing I could do about it, the guy just acted like I was an idiot who didnt know what I was talking about and kept on saying how he had lots of good yelp reviews- Im sorry but no amount of yelp reviews is going to change the fact that my computer has a chunk missing and was replaced with the wrong screen at full price!
