We live in a 3 unit condominium building. One of the owners is selling her condo in a week and she had lost her key to the common area doors. She obtained a very expensive quote to re-key the five common area locks. We contacted Quick Key and spoke to Tory to see if her quote was realistic. Tory came up with several potential solutions all of which were less costly than the original quote that was obtained. The locks had to be re-keyed as soon as possible to be able to give the new keys to the new owners at the sale of the condo and, once again, Quick Key came through. Carlos arrived on time, was very polite and professional and did a great job getting the locks re-keyed in a timely fashion and even gave us a discount on the previously quoted price. If we ever need locksmith work done again, we will definitely contact Quick Key.

We moved and needed our locks replaced. I received excellent service on the phone when I called to explain what I needed done, including an explanation of the options and the cheapest way to accomplish my goal. I scheduled an appointment for the next day (they offered to come out same day, but I was not available). They called to confirm the locksmith was on his way. Juan arrived on time and was incredibly friendly and helpful. He expained what he was doing and confirmed it was what I wanted done. I did not shop around for other locksmiths, but the price seemed reasonable for what I had done. It was definitely cheaper than if I would have replaced all the locks myself. I will use Quick Key again if I need a locksmith in the future.

They were the first I called. The dispatch lady called me within ten minutes, and told me a technician was on his way. Kyle showed up right on time, and by the time I met him, he had already identified the issue, and was holding a replacement part in his hands. He explained to me the costs involved, and obtained my approval before starting work. He then tested the system a few times, and talked about improvement options, and other useful tips, such as the general maintenance of the entry way, and items to consider when looking into installing security systems. I was very pleased with Kyles service. I will definitely recommend Quick Key to anyone who is looking for fast, reliable, and affordable service.

Used quick key for my employer. We moved into our new warehouse and found that the security was lacking. We called several vendors but no one was able to give us a proper quote same day without having an on site assessment which would be scheduled 1-2 weeks later. Quick Key asked us to email them the some simple pictures and gave us an accurate quote within minutes, they even managed to come out next day with everything we needed. The pricing from the office and service from our technician Ramon was great! Quick, efficient, and professional. Would highly recommend to any other businesses that need work done on short notice.

I went into the Quick Key Locksmith store in Wheaton and found Jeff at the front desk. Who would have thought that getting keys made could be so enjoyable. Jeff took time to make sure my keys were made right and they both worked well in the locks. Jeff and I had a really interesting conversation while he cut my keys. He was so easy to talk to it made it kind of hard to leave. I will definitely go there again and recommend Jeff at Quick Key in Wheaton to anyone who needs keys, locksmith information and a friendly conversation.

The locksmith was quick and thorough. He explained what needed to be done to replace my deadbolts, rekey the locks, & have extra keys made & got it done quickly. Just be sure to check your receipt because I bought their service on Angies list & had I not checked the receipt 3 times, I would have been overcharged $400 & then $360. When I caught it both times, the locksmith was polite & corrected it & I finally got charged the correct price to the amount I owed, which was very reasonable compared to other locksmiths.

I locked myself out my condo taking my dog for a walk. I called before they were open so it went to the 24/7 emergency number. The nice lady that answered, I think her name was Jean, comforted me and told me not worry. That it happens all the time and someone will be there in 40 minutes. David, the tech, showed up in 50 minutes and couldnt have been any nicer. Once he saw the lock and handle system that was on my door he had it opened in under 2 minutes. Definitely will recommend Quick Key to everyone.

In a rush, accidentally locked my keys inside my running car. Spotted the van just outside my building and did not want to wait for AAA, so called to see if the nearby tech would be able to help me out as fast as possible. Carlos was awesome - super friendly and very quick. Would definitely recommend in a pinch (although I cant speak for how fast they arrive if they dont have a tech right where you are), even though its a bit pricey (plus side: techs make commission)

We live in a condo with several units. Somehow one of the locks to our common areas was broken. We called Quick Key after reading multiple positive reviews on Angies List and they came out within 40 minutes of us calling...on a Sunday! Victor arrived within the time promised and was extremely professional and helpful! He competed the job in a timely fashion and should we ever need a lock smith again will for sure use Quick Key! Highly recommend!

Installer was very nice but our appointment was in the morning and no one showed up until 2 pm. We were told that no one confirmed the morning appointment when we sent an email confirming this time was ok. Also, the person that provided the quote did not explain the scope of the work so there was confusion during the day of the job. Again, installer was very nice but we had some issues with the quote process and confusion day of with timing

Carlos, my tech was great. He was a newer tech, learning the ropes and he was very friendly and fun to chat with. A little disappointed in the communication on pricing--I live in the neighborhood and I was a walk in. I had not extensively researched their pricing structure. All in all, I would return, but my hope is that they take care of their regulars/loyal patrons like any reputable small business should. Thanks for the service.

They were beyond helpful. I was locked out of my house with no phone, they took the time to talked to me (while upset) and reassure me that they will be able to take care of it all. The technician was at my house in just over 20 minutes and was extremely helpful and kind. The customer service was great and I would recommend them to anyone should they find themselves locked out. They made a horrible situation a little bit better.
