This man is an EXPERT! I hated to admit that I needed help when the keys to my 2005 Sequoia were lost. I had the correct key blanks from Amazon, cut by the Toyota dealer (for free!) from the VIN, and a cheap device that was supposed to allow me to program them with no master key present. But it wasnt working because the immobilizer needed to be reset. After looking at a bunch of locksmith websites I called Metro-Keys. Off the top of his head he told me exactly where my Sequoias immobilizer was located, what it looked like, how many screws I would have to take out to get access to it, that it would take 10 minutes for him to reset it, and the exact procedure for me to follow once I installed it back in the vehicle. Everything he said was correct, and I was able to complete the job with no issues. Worth every penny I paid, faster, and MUCH less expensive than the alternatives. Metro-Keys will always be my first call when I cant do it myself.

Does not deserve even one star. I was very disappointed with the service. I called to get a smart key programmed. I talked with the technician to arrange a time to meet him at the store location. I arrived and talked with the person in the store and he said the technician would be there shorty. While I waited he confirmed that they could program my key. I had waited about 30 minutes and the technician texted the person in the store and said he could not do the job. I asked if he was tied up on another job and was running late. The person at the store said that the technician said he could not do the job. This is the second time I have been to this location, with prior contact with a technician who said they could help me, only to find out what they told me was just the opposite. I will never be back to this store and I would not trust anything anyone told me over the phone from this company. This the worst service I think I have ever experienced.

There are a lot of locksmiths out there but when you try to find their location, they have none. Which is why I looked up Metro-keys, since they had a physical location, and after calling them, went over to the store get the Van key chipped and programmed. After asking the model of the Van, Forest immediately knew the keying system and went about programming the key. The entire programming process was done in less than 2 mins and I was in and out the store in about 15mins. While I was having a conversation with Forest, I found out that he has a background in electronics - and with most car keys being electronic these days, Forest is definitely the best person for the job. He did a great job with our van key and his pricing was competitive as well. I would highly recommend him!

I had called because my boyfriend (Chris) left his keys in the car and though I wasnt there personally my boyfriend said he had a great experience. This was the second time in a month that he had locked himself out and we decided to give this place a call since he had a horrible experience last time when he had called somewhere else. The man that came was very knowledgeable of his job and friendly. And though Chris didnt get his name, he left a really great impression so we wanted to give him a big thank you for providing great customer service. To top it off the price was cheap! We highly recommend this place, and we will definitely call here if we ever need help again. "Not all heroes wear capes."

Good Business! Right Price!..I lost the key to my vehicle,not just any key of course,but the key with the chip embedded.I contacted the dealership and they quoted me an outrageous price,and on top of that they stated i had to have my car towed to the dealership.So i decided to shop around for locksmiths and i contacted several(not a good experience).Anyways to make a long story short i got a quote from Metro Keys that was less than half the price that the dealership quoted me and lower than any other locksmiths i had called... to top it off...they were coming to my location! Now,I got speedy service,a great deal! and the key to my wheels!! Say whaaat??.. Yes!! Id recommend Metro Keys to anyone for getting the job done!

This place is awesome. I called ahead and they were the only locksmith place that had the key I needed. Then, when I got here the hansdome gentleman proved to me that I had the right key to program to my car after explaining my problem to him, He knew exactly what to do to fix the issue. He made sure that he did everything correctly by double and triple checking his work which is something I always appreciate in situations like this.I will use this place again, theyre really good at customer service and getting the job done right

I showed up unexpectedly to have someone help me with an emergency lock change on a rental home I manage. Jay went out of his way to drop everything he was doing to go with me to do the lock change. He was very helpful, polite and patient. They charged me a very fair and affordable price and did a great job! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a trustworthy, affordable and knowledgeable locksmith. I love that they are family owned and operated, too!

The absolute best service i received from any business in a very long time. I arrived needing to make a replacement key for my car door locks. Due to my car being older this was not possible, but the gentleman took the time and found a that the original key was broken in the door lock. He retrieved the key and made me a working copy; the price was fair and the peace of mind is priceless. Thanks again

My experience with metro keys was superb. The Bmw Technician did not give up til i got my keys out of the trunk. Plus,he was very PROFESSIONAL courteous and kind. The things he did to even get my keys woukd,of cost me arm in let at bmw dealership if anyone is ever locked Lou there car or your keys are in your trunk dont call any locks Smith call metro- keys and before you make a mess of things.

This is by far the BEST locksmith Ive found. So I Locked my keys in the trunk & my doors were locked as well. I called he came out super nice guy!!! & opened my doors, THEN just when I thought it was fixed my trunk button was also jammed which he said no worries & fixed it. WOOHOOO everything back to normal ..... highly recommend to anyone prices are better than the #1 rated places ..

I was trying to get one key cut and programmed and possibly send this business more referrals or even a business relationship and this guy that answered the phone was trying to start an argument over nothing and was so confrontational about everything. I really dont understand people that have bad people skills that are in the service industry that just kills business itself.
