I had first gone to Public Storage. I was very dissatisfied with both of their locations I contacted. First, the employee was unable to articulate to an understandable level. The employee spoke very fast and mumbled her words. The second employee was understandable but after she told me about all the unadvertised costs to rent a unit I cancelled my reservation. Then I emailed Extra Space. Greg called me introduced himself and gave me all the information I needed. When I went to check out the space I decided it was not suitable. Greg immediately gave me several other unit options and I found one that would suit my needs. Greg very thoroughly explained all the conditions of the rental agreement and the payments. Greg was extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I went home and related this very pleasant experience with Greg to my wife. I will definitely recommend Extra Space to others.

Pros: very clean units (why I rented here, saw 3 other places that were nasty), friendly staff, price is average, open 6am-10pm (no 2am weirdos near your stuff) Cons: Units are smaller than they claim (told "estimated") online reservation will not hold a unit. I paid $3 extra a month from quote emailed due to it suddenly being "the last one in its size". Verdict: As a veteran Ive used a lot of storage facilities, this is one of the cleanest Ive seen, and Gregg is a really nice guy. Wouldve given five stars but they still play the size and rate bump game like every storage Ive ever encountered.

This is my first time ever renting a storage space and the lady that helped me made it a wonder experience. Her name was Jackie, she said shes usually at the Tinley Park location and she was there helping out that day. She was very knowledgeable on the information and had an answer for every question I asked. Also while I was there, an older gentleman had come in asking for information and she gave him everything he needed to know and wrote it all down for him. This is definitely a place I would recommend! The prices are the lowest I have found and the staff is excellent!

I have been very happy with the amount of respect and compassion that the manager of this storage facility has shown to me and my family as we clear out my fathers storage lockers. He has offered several suggestions on how to properly remove the contents as well as how to open a stuck door when something inside had fallen and kept the door from opening. The facility is extremely clean and I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone in the area.

Ive been extremely happy with Extra Space. Greg is always a great help - quick to answer phone calls, takes time to listen to my needs and is extremely courteous. Ive been using Extra Space for a year now and my experiences are always positive. I appreciate the key pad entry they added this year for additional security. The prices are reasonable and I like being able to drive up to my storage unit.

Greg keeps this place clean, neat, operable and secure. Nothing is in disrepair. Greg and his staff are very professional. They answer your questions truthfully, unlike many others in the area. Customer service here is second to none! If you are looking for a storage facility that gives you value, service and treats you with respect, this is the place.

I love the service I first received last summer when I rented my storage unit the agent Greg was very professional and till this day when I run into him he always says hi the grounds are cleans and each and every time I go there I feel safe because of the security gates that just been installed I recommend Extra Space Storage with 5 stars

I booked this facility on the last minute and they had the needed space. I showed up during the workers lunch break (without knowing) and she assisted with my setup during her break and then continued with her lunch after we were finished. The price for is so far working out well

The guy behind the counter had a very rude demeanor when I only asked a question, and didnt even return my greeting. Ill give him the benefit of the doubt that he probably just had a real bad morning. Not professional, but I was only there to help someone move.
