A very DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL AND A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE PUT ALL TOGETHER ! SIMPLY PUT IT IS A SHAME, CUNNING PEOPLE AND TREAT THEM AS GARBAGE. PLEASE READ FULLY .. FAIR WARNING Vehicle: Commercial Cargo Van !Dishonest: Lying about the correct pressure of the tires, even though the factory recommended pressure sticker is there to guide and on the final Firestone receipt says the correct pressure, even after I asked them directly, they still lie in your face. Selling hazard protection without even understanding the need of the customer or where the vehicle is being used, using selling gimmicks to convince you that you absolutely needed, lying about that they can provide service (alignment in this case) turned out that they cannot, height seemed to an issue, which I will accept, but being a professional you should know that before even offering it. !!Some might say it is just a tire pressure, but take into consideration, recommended pressure was 47 Psi for the front and it was going on 80 Psi – think of the impact of the front system and suspension parts.!! !Unprofessional: No knowledge on the correct requirements for the TPMS Sensors and their programming, received a phone call saying I need new all four sensors where one is $144 where at the dealer is $102 and OEM compatible parts are close to $50. Initial estimate was completely wrong, offered parts which were not required for the TPMS Sensors. After the call the that Vehicle was ready, visually seemed ok, but the front right tire was missing its weights, which they explained it was not needed ?! After picking up the Vehicle and driving to work, the computer started beeping that there are no TPMS sensors ! Close to 300 ml from IL, continued driving and stopped at the closest Firestone in Michigan, they couldn’t read the sensors at all and tire pressure was way high on all four tires – 80 psi. After speaking to Mr. Erik and coming back to Firestone, he started calling the dealerships asking for help and he was put on hold so he handed me the phone to stay on hold inside the shop, while he performed his duties, I was surprised by it .. Wow !!! In the end we just corrected the tire pressure and re-reset the computer which was done in the first place, but did not help, now stuck with errors on TPMS sensors. P.S - Funny fact: One of the younger technicians, while I was waiting on the phone with the dealer, could not put a weight on the wheel even after 6 or more tries, than he started slamming with his hammer on the edge of the wheel, in front of me .. Just could not believe it - Complete Butcher shop .. !Horrible Experience: They have very stereotypical approach to customers, they do not value your time or specifically they simply DO NOT care for your vehicle or believe that you are an complete idiot, first time behind the wheel, even after trying all to be very easygoing on all their faults they disappoint again and again. The local Dealership charges for programming $160 and when I told them, they laughed at my sarcastically in my face, saying that is a rip-off, but they are the ones who cannot fix the problem. More ironic or hypocritical from that – just no words. FROM BEING NICE AND FRIENDLY TO COLD AND RUDE in 60 SEC - WHEN I ASKED MY ROADSIDE HAZARD WARRANTY AND THE CHARGE FROM PROGRAMMING TO BE REMOVED.

After thinking that Id originally be spending over $500 for a beater, I was able to leave spending just a portion of that with no trouble from the shop. Very impressed with the customer service! I brought my older sedan in for an oil change and to look at both front headlights that had gone out after 9 months. They looked into the problem and found that there were issues with the retainers for the bulbs, and while they were able to fix one, I would need a whole new assembly for the other. They also let me know that Id likely need a new battery soon, but I decided not to get one right away. They originally quoted me for around $200 for the headlight theyd have to order and I said that was ok, but after thinking, I decided that was a little too much money to drop into a beater car. I went in early the next day to pick up the car and let them know I had changed my mind, and Eric took the headlight assembly and labor off the ticket with no hassle and offered to research used headlight assemblies that would be less expensive for me.

I had a very bad experience with them and that was my very first time I was visiting them. I called them for a battery change for the same day but they said they are completed occupied and gave an appointment the next day by 5 PM. I went by the appointment time gave them my keys and asked them to do an winter inspection check as well. They told me it will take probably a 45 minutes to 1 hour to do both. I thought to wait! after 40 minutes of waiting I thought to poke my head out (It was dark by that time) and I saw my car is still parked outside at the same spot where I left. I really got shocked. I yelled at the person who took the keys and asked if they got any idea on servicing my car today or not. He then checked his system and he came to know that he had put the time for 6 PM and thats why the job card never got picked up! What a total disaster! He then rushed to my car to take it inside to do the service. They almost took 2 hours just to change the battery and do an inspection for a scheduled appointment!

I have waited to write this review but at this point I feel this location has taken advantage of me because I am a woman who doesnt know a lot of cars/trucks. I originally brought my sons 1988 truck into the shop because it was dying out. They must have jumped up and down when they say me coming. They gave me a laundry list of things that were wrong with the truck. I did the main repairs that I could afford and said I would come back when I had more money. A few days later the truck was still dying out. Brought it back, they said well you need to replace the alternator. So I did. Truck still dying out, took it back they said there was a fuel leak causing it to die so fixed that and replaced the throttle body. To date I have spent over $2000 and the truck is still dying!!!! Never get a straight answer, and they never fix the problem. I work three jobs and just want my son to be in a safe vehicle. I didnt mind spending the money to get it safe but it is STILL DYING!!!!!

Great experience. Good prices. I priced shopped by calling 11 stores in the Downers Grove area looking for the best price for mounting and balancing a set of tires and rims. I then decided on letting Firestone on Ogden do the work. I dropped off a set of rims and tires to be mounted and balanced and they were able to have them ready the next morning. Upon inspection of their work, I noticed they used clip-on wheel weights, instead of the adhesive wheel weights which I requested. After bringing this to there attention, they promptly re-balanced the tires with adhesive weights. They seemed obliged to do the re-work without it being a hassle. Then they bagged the tires, to prevent the interior of my car getting dirty and loaded them for me. The guys working in the office were courteous and friendly as well as the guys in the shop. I go through a lot of tires on my cars (racing) and will gladly return with my business. Overall it was a great experience.
