I cannot say enough about owner Bob who actually worked on my little project to DePAX my Odyssey tires. I bought 17" Honda Pilot Wheels, 235/60R17 tires, appropriate valve stems and lug nuts online. The first problem we ran into was that the lug nuts that I bought online were 12mm inner diameter whereas Odyssey Touring 05 takes 14mm inner diameter lug nuts. Bob called around to get the right size lug nuts. Next we ran into how the lug nut sits inside the wheel. Pilot takes ball head lug nuts but we could only buy acorn or cone head lug nuts locally. Bob advised me on how we can proceed and educated me on correct torque rating and how I will need to check that the lug nuts are properly tightened. I mean he went above and beyond what you would expect from any auto repairman (owner or worker) to make sure that what I had bought would not have to be all returned. He spent about 3 hours along with various assistants from his shop to make sure that I went home that night with my car with the new tires. I am pretty sure if I had taken to most other shops they would had given up at the first problem that the lug nuts that I had bought online did not fit. Not Bob. I think I have found my trusted auto repair shop. Now if I can only find a doctor and a lawyer like that I would be set. Joking aside, I have not had this kind of customer service experience in a long long time. You come to expect this type of service from places like Nordstrom or American Express not an auto repair shop. Bob, kudos to you. Keep up the good work.

Youre reading the "voice of experience." Ive been around. Owned dozens of cars and trucks, imports and domestics. Ive gone to private shops, dealerships and craigslist mechanics. I know what Im talking about. And what Im talking about is quite possibly the best, most reliable, most intelligent and honest auto shop in the midwest -- maybe the country? !! Bob at DuPage Tire & Auto is a walking encyclopedia of automotive knowledge. If he was a physician, hed have cured cancer by now. Seriously. He goes the distance to fix things right the first time, treat you fairly, and he charges an honest price. Hes diagnosed car/truck problems that nobody else could. Several times Ive come in for work, and hes shown me that the work I wanted was unnecessary! Or hes found better parts or pricing on items. Heck. I had him install new tires and shocks on two separate occassions, and *he* took care of completing the paperwork and mailing it so I would get the rebate! Do yourself a favor. Take your automotive service and repair needs to Bob. Get em fixed. Youll be a customer for life. Like me.

Although I have been using this shop for just over a year now, I have had many occasions of calling them for repairs, service and maintenance to keep my seasoned car running, which I rely on for my over busy schedule, they have always been there for me. Their service really stood out on a recent snowy night on my way home from work. My wipers decided to completely fail when I needed them them most. I called Dupage Tire right away and told me to bring it in and they will do their best to get me moving ASAP as I had to pick up my daughter later that day. Arriving late in the day, Dupage Tire went straight to diagnosing the problem, getting a part, and staying late to get me safely home that night. You dont know how good your auto repair shop really is until you need them the most. Thanks guys for the awesome service!

The afternoon before a cross-country moving trip, my car decided to break down and not start in the middle of my street. I called Dupage Auto & Tire up (since they are my local shop my entire family brings their cars to) and Bob immediately shows up with his tow truck and brings it to the shop. He pulled crazy over hours on my car (since I was driving it across the country bright and early the next morning), and I was able to make my trip with no delays. I have since had some other issues with my car in my new city Im living in, and he has been overly helpful talking me through the process, as well as talking to the shop I have found out here. I wish Dupage A&T would move out here to the west coast! Love the work, and the experience. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Had a flat tire at work and called these guys. I knew I contacted the right place by the noticeable courtesy from the guy that answered the phone. They showed up in 30 minutes (10 miles in heavy rush our traffic) and Bob promptly changed my tire. Not only was he very courteous, he showed me the cause (a nail) and he told me to make sure that whoever fixes the tire puts a patch on the tire and not plugs (apparently, a plug is a temporary fix). He also showed me other things in case a situation ever came up (I have a new, used car). So not only did I get great service, I got great information to boot. I highly recommend Dupage Tire & Auto...with their friendly service attitude, you can tell they want to earn and keep new customers.

Was here 6 months ago to mount new tires, after discount tire broke 4 of the 5 studs on my old car right b4 leaving for a road trip...which wasnt fixed in time since they dont offer the service. After Dupage Tire mounted the tires I went home to check the torque specs and one of the studs broke off in my hand. Called the shop and told me to come back 1st thing in the morning. Of course I needed the car for another road trip. They were able to replace the stud and got the oem Toyota lug nut. The guys remounted all four wheels to make sure the other studs were good. I was back on the road in one day where as every shop discount tire sent me was booked for a week.

Very happy and satisfied with the service. The serpentine belt on my car came off and that caused the battery to die. I called DuPage Tire And Auto and Bob (the owner) came before the tow truck and let me know it was on the way. The truck got there and they towed it from Jiffy Lube to their shop. When I got there, Bob was personally handling the repairs to my car. They got the parts, installed them and even fixed my tire in great time. All of the staff was very helpful and polite, they also explained everything and gave me updates when they got them. I would definitely recommend them and would be happy to use them again.

Excellent service. My car broke down at work in the parking garage and they came and towed it within the hour. I had called other companies, but they said it would take over two hours to pick up my car, or that they couldnt fit into the parking garage. Bob from DuPage Tire and Auto made it work, fixed the problem with my cars battery, and made sure I got back to work on time. Im a student and I drive an old car that needs a lot of service. Ive never had such a good experience with repair shop as I did with DuPage Tire and Auto.
