Summary: Very unresponsive company, with questionable repairs. We purchased our home in March 2011 and they sold us a Home Warranty program with the house. • May 27, 2011 - We noticed some leaks during the 1st heavy rain so we submitted a claim. They forwarded our claim to Adams Roofing Professionals. • May 31, 2011 - It took 4 days for them to call and schedule time to look at the problem. It was Memorial Day weekend, so I gave them some leeway. • June 6, 2011 - The guy that came out was very nice, checked out not only the problem area but the remainder of the roof listing out other small holes that should be addressed. This included pulling back some of the existing shingles, as well as the flat roof to repair damaged wood underneath. He took my $75 tradesman fee told me he had to go back to the office to write up an estimate. He explained that if the cost was above the deductible that the home warranty program would pay, my $75 would go towards it. I thought he was very professional, and in depth and hoped to hear back soon • June 14, 2011 - I still had not heard back from Adams Roofing Professionals, so I called their office. The receptionist told me "So and so isnt in right now, but I will have them call you back by the end of the day". No one returned my call. • June 17, 2011 - I called again and got the same story. "So and so is not in, Ill leave them a message and they will call you by the end of the day". Again, no phone call. That same evening, I decided to send them an email through their site asking for a status update since no one would talk to me on the phone. • June 21, 2011 - I received a call from them telling me the estimate for the roof and they were going to call up the warranty program to authorize the payment. Later that day the warranty program called me for asking if I was OK with the estimate and charges, and if they should OK it. I said yes, go ahead. After I hung up with the warranty program, I promptly called Adams back to schedule the repair to start. They sent someone out that day to have me sign the contract. The salesman told me "All of the work is on the outside of the house so you do not need to be home when they come since they dont need access inside the house." • June 29, 2011 - They came to repair the roof. That evening after work, I took my ladder out and went up on the roof to check the work. It was not even close to what I was told was going to happen. The contract said they would take up 13 of my roof, replace all of the damaged wood beneath it, and put a new flat roof over the affected area. They removed about 8 of the roof and the wood underneath is still very soft as if it was never replaced. Plus, now the water puddles where they put up the new flat roof. Not knowing it they 100% completed the job or not, i gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited to see if they would be coming back to do more work. • July 7, 2011 - I received an invoice in the mail asking for payment. • July 14, 2011 - I sent them an email asking them to have someone come out to the house and show me all of the work that was done before I paid their invoice. • July 21, 2011 - 7 days later I received a 2nd notice invoice in the mail that says "We inspected the roofing work we completed on June 29, 2011. All work has been completed per our contract dated June 21, 2011" No one had ever called me, set up an appointment to look over it with me as I asked for. I will be paying the invoice in protest as I do not want a ding against my records, but given the choice in the future I will not be working with this company ever again.

Right behind investing in your children, your health and your future, the most important investment you can make is in your home. With that comes a substantial price tag to consider into the budget and make sure is spent wisely. Because of a couple bad experiences prior and a few views of the show "To Catch A Contractor", my guard is always up when inviting a salesman into my home to sell me on their services. By referral from a friend who used Adams Roofing Pros to do their roof and was 110% pleased with them, I decided to give them a try. Their estimator was 5 minutes early, clean cut, professional, well spoken English and the patience of a saint while answering my 1000 questions. I know nothing about roofing. I am an easy target to sell me things I dont need and take full advantage of my lack of knowledge. Rob F. from Adams not only helped educate me on the process they would go through but also the different kinds of materials that I could choose from. At no time was there any pressure to sign on the dotted line and move forward. In fact, Rob mentioned he would email me over some information after our meeting to help me think through the options. Follow Up is huge with me. Rob followed up with all the information we discussed and did it a day earlier than he committed to. After digesting the information and getting quotes from 3 other companies in the area, I had Rob come out again so that I could compare quotes with him. After getting the quotes from the other companies, Rob showed me that Adams could also factor in all the options these other companies fluffed their quote with and still be competitive on price, but he helped me understand I didnt need those options and didnt need to spend the money. Rob sold me what I needed. Not what the others wanted me to buy. We made the decision to move forward with Adams and the job was completed in time, on budget and with impeccable attention to detail. The team of people working for Adams were polite, clean and created zero disturbance with neighbors. In my past experience a few weeks after a roof is done, you will find nails in the yard and street and shingle trash in the bushes. Rob and I did a walk around after the job was finished and there was nothing left undone and there was zero trash in the bushes. Robs follow-up was excellend. Rob called me 30 days after completion to ensure I was happy with the money I spent and if there were any other questions I had. Excellent investment in my home. THANKS ADAMS!

Redid our Roof and was EXTREMELY satisfied. We had our roof done about 10 years ago and the company we used, used organic shingles. Turns out there was a defect with this product and that even though they were supposed to last 30 years, they chipped, curled, and were flat out falling off after 10 years. Even though this had nothing to do with them, Stathie and Rob took the extra time out to help us fill out the necessary warranty paperwork to try and recoup some of the loss from the roof. And the job they did on the roof was phenomenal. Stathie took the extra time to go over literally every option we had on the roof, explained the differences in the quality of products he had to offer, and help us settle on shingle that best fit our house. His crews are unbelievably professional in their work. There was no mess left at the end of every day, they yard was spotless even when they were working, they showed up in the morning and left before dinner time so they wouldnt disturb our home and family, and were extremely friendly to deal with on a day to day basis. If you are pondering getting a new roof and are hesitant because of all the hassle, CALL ADAMS before you decide to do anything else. They made what is normally a nightmare feel like a breeze. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a roof done, or roof repairs. I just purchased another house and I will be doing all my roofing through Adams.
