I wish I saw Lees comments BEFORE they towed my car to their shop. I will never take my business to Taccs ever again. He is a poor communicator. He was to call me with the estimate but didnt. I had to generate the calls. Did not call but once, during the month he had my vehicle. He also marks up the parts cost by at least double - check it out yourself next time BEFORE he starts working on your car. Get an itemized parts bill estimate so you can see for yourself. You dont have to go on line, just to an auto parts store. Took forever to get my car back and he did not want to honor the 20% discount he advertises off the labor - said to carry it forward to the next time. I insisted to credit it now - it took him two weeks to do that. Being a FIRST TIME CUSTOMER you would think his business acumen would be more professional. I will never recommend him to anyone needing automotive service. I will ensure that they look somewhere else, at all costs. RECOMMENDATION: Anywhere but TACC"S Ameican International Auto.

I used Taccs a few times for maintenance and a broken power window motor. They wouldnt call me when the car was ready, but the work was solid and the prices reasonable. So I returned. Recently I purchased Summer tires from the Tire Rack, and shipped them to Taccs for installation. I was informed this was inappropriate, but they would install them for me anyway. (Gee, thanks.) Not a very customer service oriented attitude. When I dropped the car off he deadpans, "We sell our own tires" as if he is doing me a favor. Later he elaborates, "We dont make very much on tires anyway" ...Well if thats the case, whats the big deal? I pick the car up to a bill of $120... A surprise $20 premium over the standard rate. I will not be returning for my Winter tires in the Fall, nor for anything else. This kind of treatment tells me he is not interested in my business. One would think he would have the wisdom to see that it is better to profit from installation than nothing...

DONT BELIEVE WHAT THE OTHER REVIEWERS ARE WRITING IN GOOGLE. TACCS HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 30+ YEARS. THE OWNER KNOWS WHAT HES DONG AND HE KNOWS HOW TO TAKE CARE OF HIS CUSTOMERS & VEHICLES. HE HAS CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE BEEN TAKING THERE VEHICLES TO HIM FOR 30+ YEARS AND ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THERE SERVICE. I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES, MANY MANY TIMES. TACCS IS AN HONEST AND RELIABLE AUTO REPAIR FACILITY. IM A LIFE LONG CUSTOMER.

I had an issue with my transmission shifting & had them take it for a test drive. They came back and gave me several options and since Im from out of town I decided to take the chance and drive my vehicle home. They treated me with respect and professionalism and would recommend them to family and friends. They didnt even charge me for the test drive and diagnostic test

As usual, excellent service at a fair cost. I have been going there for a year or so and their service is always excellent. The one time there was a minor problem after the service, they fixed it promptly without complaint or any additional charges. Very rare, quality service for the auto repair industry, Dealers could learn some lessons here.

I took my Impala here for an oil change. I called at the last minute and they still accommodated me. The owner was polite and professional. They did not try to sell me things I didnt need and even offered their summer coupon for the services I was getting completed. Very impressed and will return.

That bad review on here is the previous owners. Craig and the formerly Taccs is now Performance because they do great work. I take my new car to the dealer for "necessary" work and then Craig does the same work but better for less.
