When the brakes on my car stopped working, I had to have it towed to the nearest garage: Genoa Automotive Repair. It was a Friday, and I was told I wouldnt be hearing from them until their first opening the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and went, and I heard nothing. On Thursday, mid-afternoon, I realized they werent going to call me, so I made the call myself. The man I spoke with presumed to tell me that hed have to replace my fuel lines as well to get to my brake lines and was going to charge me over $1000 for the repairs. He wouldnt give me an exact price, only that it would be over 1000. He was also unable to tell me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle, implying he hadnt even looked at it properly yet, despite my appointment being the day before and him having my car for several days. The only thing actually wrong with my car was a small leak in the brake line that was clearly visible as plain as day to anyone who could look underneath the car. I didnt appreciate the obvious scam and rudeness over the phone, so I took my car elsewhere. I highly recommend anyone reading this avoid giving this irreputable mechanic any of their business.

These people really helped me out, I went in for a noise in the rear of my car. They said I had a loose shock so I had then put new shocks on my car and while they were doing that they found a screw in my tire and fixed it while they had the tire off and didnt even charge me! That saved me from a potential headache down the road. They are awesome people, thanks Genoa Automotive!!

Im not sure how their work is because I never made it in. They were very rude on the phone and could not give me any basic information. I will be searching elsewhere for my car repair.

there work was bad, i had to to back more then once for same repair. they where rude and treated you like you where stupid. i will never go back!!!!!!!!!!!
