I have to admit that in the beginning, 1.5 years ago, the service was excellent. What I found out though is that once they get comfortable, they show up late, not stay the whole hour, not dust, find jewelry laying about that was once locked up. Two different people working the office, the male figurine thinks he is g-d. Dates get all screwed up, he will say they are coming when a half hour later you call to make sure and all of a sudden your schedule does not exist, they are not coming etc. etc. They change crews often and this has a bad effect! Some dont even put your sheets on your bed correctly and forget about them dusting behind bed tables etc. Unless you want to continue this service as you have had it a long time, I would say switch now and pay for quality!!! I have always been home when theyve come, and still the cleaning did not happen! In fact, there were several times the toilet and bath were not cleaned at all! Sorry to give a bad review, but when you get bad service and lies multiple times over the phone, I would search elsewhere where the cleaners actually clean! What a concept!! I live North of Chicago in Illinois. Im sure there are areas where this does not happen. My 88 year old father still uses them, but he has to tell them what to do each time! They were overcharging me for weeks, and then finally let me know by accident. My solid opinion is DO NOT TRUST THEM! peace.....

Didnt get my full hour of cleaning. The did do an ok job of cleaning, however, they left after 45-50 minutes. My husband went out to talk to them and ask them to do the basement since there was extra time. The were talking between themselves in a different language which made him uncomfortable. Then they said it would be an extra $15 to do the basement. They did not comment on not cleaning for a full hour. He said to forget it then. When I got home from work I called them. Basically they explained it was more money to do the basement - which is fine. The issue of them leaving early went back and forth and then I was told that they came early so they actually stayed 2 minutes over. My husband said they did not come early - they arrived on time. I wanted to call them back again but he said he didnt have any way to prove that they were on time and not early. So basically, I didnt get my full hour of cleaning although I paid for a full hour. I feel I should have received a partial refund for the 15 minutes. All I can say is I wont use them again - how can you have someone in your house who you dont trust.

Ive been using this company for years and while I always found things to clean after because its not that great, Id still keep getting them cuz its quick. This last time it was a waste of 110$. Right when they were there when i was about to give them the money, i noticed the toilet bowls were not cleaned well so i told them, I even wiped around the toilet seat with a toilet paper and it came out yellow. She sprayed a little and wiped them. They did not clean the whole hour. After they left I noticed nothing was cleaned much. Even dust on furniture which I actually purposely emptied on top to make it easy. The floors were not cleaned well and when I walked barefoot there was stuff on the floor and my feet turned black. The faucets look like they never cleaned them. Usually they shine. Very disappointed

I have been putting off contacting a house cleaning service for awhile. I was one who always thought that as the "mom" of the house, I could do it all. However, after returning to work full time, I finally gave in. After doing some research, I called the company I decided on. I was pleased that they were able to set up a day to come by in the same week. I have to say that I am glad I finally called. When they were finished, everything was spotless. I was very impressed. I was very pleased with the first visit that I then set up an appointment for every two weeks. I still have to tidy up daily, but I no longer have to worry about spending the weekends scrubbing and cleaning. I would highly recommend this cleaning company.

This was awesome service. The team of cleaners were on time, extremely friendly, and our home looks better than it did when we moved in. I could not have asked for a better experience with a maid service. I would recommend Hour Maid to anyone who is in the market for a house cleaning service.

Left my place reeking of cigarette smoke. Did not clean the kitchen floor. The kitchen looked clean, but smelled like vomit. The living room carpet was all matted down, and they left my garbage in a bag in my dining room to dispose of. Will never, ever use again!!!

Terrible cleaning. Will never use them again. I had to do my entire house all over again. What a waste of money. There was dust still, hair on the bathroom floor, they missed 2 bedrooms. HOW CAN YOU MISS 2 BEDROOMS!! UGG TERRIBLE. SO MAD!!!

I have used this cleaning service about six times and have never been disappointed. I request the "green" products (no extra charge) and the cleaning has always been thorough. The phone staff as well as the cleaning crew are very polite.
