I would never thought I need to complain about that office, since I was leaving in the area for 13 years and used it in regular basis for almost 8 years. I have known all the people that used to work in there for sever years as well. 5 years ago I moved to the different place and now all I need to do its picking up mail from my mailbox in there. I usually get a text msg that will tell me that the mail is in the mailbox... that was until a year ago when I changed my phone provider (phone number stillthe same). I am a small business owner and that mailbox I ha e is only for my business, so important. I wentered to the office, stand in the line for 40-50 minutes, same staff as always, but less people working... did asked why, and the people where fired... well, thats why we need to wait so long now... got the paperwork about the provider and still didnt get any notifications for two months... so I have to drive there a lot of times wasting 2-4 hours just to fund out that there is nothing in there. Versus importantdocuments wait for me for few days, still no text msg even when I did the paperwork twice already... stuff same as it used to be in the past its frustrated as well, and all of the post office clients can see that. Now for past 5 days in a row I try calling number on the website and never got an answer!!! What in the World is going on??? to work I there

I ship regularly due to my small online business. And unfortunately this is my local post office. It makes me consider closing my business. Its just awful. First off, they have a phone. Ive seen it. Though it may be fake...like ones they have on TV sets. Because when you call this post office nobody every picks up. The self shipping centers installed along with the large mail boxes are a miracle. But sometimes I have a box that doesnt fit and simply need to hand it off...and even something as trivial as that is ridiculous. The post office exists within some sort of time rift because whether there are 2 people in line or 60...it STILL takes forever for it to move. The post workers seem to literally experience sharp physical pain anytime they have to do a small percentage of their job. I have donated things instead of selling them simply because I dont want to set foot in this post office to ship it. Its this dank slow little nightmare world. Perhaps thats why the workers are so miserable. If you need to ship something and you can only go to THIS post office...then just throw your package directly into a dumpster. Itll save you a lot of misery.

I feel i need to be punched in the face before i walk into this post office. Reason being? It is the only method i can figure out to put-off the displeasure of what i encounter every time i step foot in here (4x a week). Today i simply had it, after having waited minutes in line - i simply asked for them to look up a tracking number for my package because the self service is down. They insulted me, called me lazy, and told me to try again on my own computer. IT IS PART OF YOU GODDAMN JOB. The worst part is the manner in which they brushed me off right away, signaling for the next customer when half of my sentence had yet to be finished. Their behavior is abysmal - why the negative glances and sighs as you are forced to do the job the taxpayers pay YOU for? Please if youre going here - contact me- ill gladly punch you in the face, this will offset the immense displeasure of stepping foot in this building. Edit: In two months of calling 3x a week before i head over I have YET to have them answer; EVER!

Rude rude staff. No matter who it is they feel like you are intruding on their time...especially after waiting half hour to a full hour to be waited on. They take their time with every package, every customer, no matter how long the line. Most of the people who use that PO now are Polish. They do not have a Polish interpreter! If they know someone from the neighborhood they talk and talk and talk gossip. Bought stamps the other day. Person at the counter put my stamps in the wax envelope then proceeded to tape every edge, every seam on that envelope. Of course, there was a long line. I have lived here 60 years...before this PO was constructed. Never ever had such rude treatment. And for people to have such a good job, any job, these days, those people should be beyond pleasant. I would take plain old "pleasant" with these guys. I could go on. I hope someone reads this who can make a difference there.

Zero stars. This people first and foremost have to learn a thing or two about to how to respect a customer. I was in line that had about 15 people patiently waiting. The post-office lady named Simi, aware of all this people waiting somehow decided thats its OK to take a customer that just walked in (customer bypassed all of us telling us: I just have a question) and committed next 10-12min chatting with him while the rest of continued waiting with a blank stares on our faces. When I told her that it wasnt nice she gave me the attitude saying customer wasnt buying anything!! What a nonsense! Buying or not buying wait in line as the rest of us mortals! Uttermost disrespect of their customers! They seem totally alouf to the fact that we are paying for their services! Its not free and you got to respect clients like in the any other business!

I have never experience customer service this bad. Do those people not care about their jobs at all???? I called Harwood Heights USPS customer service phone number to inquire about my package, thats been sitting their (according to online tracking number) for 4 business days. My phone call was answered only for the 4th time with lots of attitude.... The lady on the phone wouldnt give me a chance to say a word, and kept interrupting me. When asked for help, I was told that none of the computers work, call 1-800.... wow... This was an interesting experience. Besides having great customer service, we keep getting our neighbor`s mails consistently. I mean, all you have to do is to read the address and match it, right?

Oct. 14, 2014 I just got my mail out of the mail box and everything was soaked. How hard is it to close the top of the box. The mail person could see it was raining! It has been all day. My mail is ruined, I had an important work document that is now ruined along with 3 magazines that I subscribe to all ruined. This is not the first time this has happened. It would be different if it was something hard to do all it takes is to just lower the top thats it!!!! Can you please Teach your Mail delivery people to close the boxes!! Its really not that hard!!!!!

Im so proud of Harwood Heights USPS services. I didnt receive any mails over 2 weeks. I was scary that very important mails are missing. I called Harwood Heights post office and very polite lady explained me whats wrong. They told me that my mail box wasnt safe to leave mails and they have my mails in the office and delivery it, when mailbox will be repaired. They also told me, that they left message to build management about mailboxes damage. Im so happy they kept my mails with very important informations about my family. Thank you so much!
