Definitely the worst and rudest people! I wonder how is it possible that after all these horrible reviews those same people still work there! I guess government doesnt care how they treat people who actually pay their salaries. Incompetent! They dont even know their own regulations! They can just refuse to take your package without decent explanation. And when you ask them to show regulations, they refuse and say "Take it up with downtown office"! What kind of an argument is that?! I checked the regulations and they are absolutely going against whats written there. Sharon just hates me personally, for God knows what reason? Her face changes the minute she sees me. Every time she picks on this or that detail in my mailing. Supervisor Diana Hernandez is horrible, rude, condescending and unprofessional. She does not know the first thing about "customer serving". The minute she came out of the back door, she started yelling that my package is refused. The two of them talked at the backstage and supervisor was against me before she even came outside. She did not even look at my package! They all cover for each other. What do you expect? Every time I go there, it is like I am not in the US anymore. I am being treated like a criminal. Is it maybe because I speak with an accent? They always look down at me. I think after all these negative reviews, some sort of an investigation is in order. I will go up that ladder! I am tired of this!

This post office is a joke, and a bad one at that. Our mail is frequently delayed. The letter carriers are too lazy to put the mail into its proper boxes, (we have a 3 flat), so they cram it all into the lowest box where it often gets soaked with rain. Trying to get a package delivered is a nightmare. Twice our carrier lied and indicated that two separate packages had been delivered, when in fact they were sitting on a shelf in the post office. The last time that I called this P.O., (today), to ask a simple question about a package, I was told that they were "too busy" to answer my question because they "had to get their reports done"! I wish to God this country would wise-up and contract with a reliable carrier like UPS, DHL, Fedex, etc., and put these morons out of business. This is what happens when you give a bunch of lazy slugs, who feel that they are entitled to compensation without working for it, jobs where it is absolutely impossible to get fired.

Mail worker will not drop my mail in my mail slot door but leaves it sticking out of it although it could easily slip in .a couple of times the mail was blown out of the slot. I have a sign above the mail slot asking them to please put the mail all the way into the slot. I have notified the supervisor many times over the last three years, but the practice continues. They also leave other peoples mail who has a different address on the envelope. I can only imagine that they do the same for mine. They continue to leave packages although my sign says not to leave them unattended outside. Rarely do I get a notice for a certified letter, not pkg. And when I do it is for a final notice. Just recently the final notice was received 21 days after they received the letter.

Today i had to wait 10 minutes for the PO to pen their window. I ended up leaving as to not be late for work l. After waiting for 5 minutes, someone ring the bell on a door. A worker took care of a customer and afterwards someone in the line asked for a supervisor and the little short heavy lady with glasses just glared and closed the door. I needed to buy shipping supplies and left without doing that because the side that sold it was still not opened. The workwrs are usually nice but terribly slow and it appears that they are always short staffed. To be 10 minutes late opening up is ridiculous.

I went to Elmwood Park Post Office to send out a package. I needed to have proof of sending it also the tracking number and when I checked it out tonight at 7:17pm it doesnt show up as even being received. This is unexcusable. I was there at 2:40 pm they dont close until 6:00pm so whats their excuse again. Last time they had my package sitting there for two days before they scanned it in and oh I dont know what happened I got told. Sounds to me some write ups need to happen. Very Fraustrated Ill go to River Grove they scan packages right away and have never lost or held on to any of my packages.

Absolutely the worse! I have numerous horror stories to tell from my 20 years experience with this post office. The most incredible: the time a letter was delivered to my home addressed to a woman in TEXAS! Right now they are six days overdue in restarting my mail delivery after a vacation hold. Ive spoken several times to different managers; it does no good. I have so little faith in them that when I have to mail a letter or package I drive to Oak Park and use their post office. Now, THEY know how to deliver service!

Employees are awful doing their job well. In various occasions the carrier person has deliver someone elses package at my house. The same house number but different street name. As well as delivered my packages to the wrong address. In some instances the person receiving my package brought it to my house. The post office should either get new employees or do something about the current staff. I cannot trust USPS to deliver my packages anymore.

I wish there was an option for negative , which is what I got from my ebay customers due to the fact that mail has been delayed there for over a week on 2 day shipping. They always have only one lady at the front desk who has no clue how to help you find out about your packages. I recently moved 2 minutes away from this office , but will now travel to ship my packages. AVOID THIS POST OFFICE IF YOU ACTUALLY NEED YOUR MAIL SHIPPED !!

If I could leave less or negative stars I would. This is mainly about our carrier. He is always messing up our mail. Delivering our mail to the same number but wrong street. Ave instead of Ct. Or posting a missed package notice final notice when we have never been notified before. Or never even rand doorbell or knocked to deliver package. Just assumes no one is home. Someone is always home. Something needs to be done.

I called for information on how to apply for a passport for.my two yetar old. Though they no longer process passporrs at that location, the representative gave me all of the info I needed, and a # to the nearest post office that does process passport. I would have given 5 stars, but my experience was only over the phone.

It took 7minutes and 20 seconds to be served. Forever Stamps are $0.49 per unit. Very nice slow lady making sure people are absolutely ready with their packages before they are ready for shipment. They could work on the speed in order to compete with FedEx and UPS.

I do not receive my mail every day usually i get mail every 2nd or 3rd day and almost never on time! my taxes forms did not arrive on time so i have to pay penalty for their delayed service delivery I think Elmwood Park Post Office absolutely the worst service
