Every time I call I have to call multiple times til someone will answer. The past couple times I have dealt with a woman named Keisha who is highly unprofessional and unhelpful. She always answers the phone mad with attitude and talks over the phone to other employees during the conversation between us. She shows no care to focus and help in assistance required from her. I called to find a package and she hung up on me when asked to wait so I can look up the tracking number on my phone. She rudely answered the phone again and continued to give me attitude the whole way. In the end she is never much help and I dont get anything out of her. I had to drive to the post office and ask for my package personally where they told me it was not there and it maybe at ups or the office of my apt complex if its not at my apt so I checked everywhere else just to discover its no where to be found. I then went back to post office where my package ended up being the whole time. They had me go back and fourth looking for my package because they were either to lazy to look or made a mistake. Just horrible people working here that give terrible service. They make things harder and dont pay attention to detail nor customer satisfaction. I try not to deal with this location at all costs.

Worst customer service I have every had. Advised them that I filed to have my mail forwarded a year ago but mail was still sent to incorrect address. When i advised her the contents were very expensive she said "The mailman should remember that you moved a year ago and when he realizes it isnt you hell bring the package back to our facility." I asked her how he knew the person receiving the package wouldnt just accept it and she said the mailman would know if it wasnt you. You USED to live there right? I just didnt understand, and the less i understood the more snarky she became... it was just incredibly unnecessary and condescending. Then she said she would call me back at the end of the day and when I tried to confirm the comment to confirm she would actually be so Wonderful to do this for me, she said she didnt say that at all. And said shed call me back tomorrow to let me know if my mail was given to anyone else. :( I love sending and receiving mail... but it was just unkind of them to treat a concerned consumer the way I was treated today. I am disappointed. I dont want UPS and FedEx and the sort to win.. but if this is how Im going to be treated then... well... need I say more?

The service here really does tend to be horrible, though that might have something to do at least part of the year with the fact that they also dont seem to ever believe in air conditioning. I truly felt sorry for the employees when I went there this summer. Last time I went with my husband to buy stamps and ship a small padded envelope our experience was comically horrible, though. We were shipping a collectible card, and the woman proceeded to take the package from my husband and bend hit back and forth and asked, "Whats in this?" in a way that made it seem like we were doing something highly suspicious. She then proceeded to answer our questions about shipping and tracking numbers with as few words as possible, relying only on one or two word answers and gestures. It really was odd and off putting. She also acted as if wed just asked her to perform the most difficult task on the planet when we asked her to show us more than one design of stamps. I highly recommend doing all the shipping you can online if your alternative is this place.

Wow! Lived in Hoffman Estates for 10 years. Always received great customer service here. Today I leave very, very upset. The "new" girl here was treating everyone with the worst attitude. Seems she doesnt want to be here. No exception when I approached. I asked about my forwarding mail due to a change of address because I hadnt receivef any mail yet in my new one. All I needed was some info. In the most degrading manner she tells me "well, what do it say there?" I was SO furious but remained calm and just looked at her. Dont insult my intelligence! All we customers need is some help and info. Why is she so aggravated? Then I asked for a small sticker to seal my envelope to send to the Cook County Clerk office. She tells me "oh, we dont have those here." Its the post office!! So sad...

This post office and its carriers have been sending my mail back return to sender for going on 3 years now!! Have contacted the post office manager on phone in person, contacted the Chicago office postmaster, and filed several hundred complaints over the course of the last 3 years. Every response I get is we will fix the problem and they never do. One guy their accutually told me that Barrack Obama changed the laws on the postal service in regards to how they deal with mail and they can do what they want with my mail and there is nothing you can do about it!! Ladies and gentlemen that was the location Manager who gave me that line of crap!! well worth saying this IS THE WORST POST OFFFICE IN THE COUNTRY!!! ZERO STARS

The customer service at this branch is absolutely awful. I mail things very frequently, and I avoid having to go to the counter at this branch at all costs. They often only have two employees working the front (even during insane times like December), and for some reason the employees are the slowest typists in the world. If they have to type the info for your parcel into the computer, be prepared for an infuriatingly slow display of chicken-pecking at the keyboard with the eraser end of a pencil. They recently lost one of my packages as well. The tracking info never shows it leaving the facility, but they refuse to acknowledge the possibility that they are at fault. I wont be returning here.

The people that work the counter at this post office need to be fired and replaced. I was there Thursday afternoon to buy stamps. There were a few people in line and one customer at a window with no clerk in sight. After about 10 minutes the line has not moved and there are now more people waiting. There was another clerk at a closed window doing something but did not seem concerned enough to stop what she was doing and open her window to serve customers. I was totally disgusted in the way they can ignore all these people waiting. Since no one was being helped I ended up leaving and will never come back to this post office. Nothing but loafers here. They dont even deserve one star.

I thought that the reviews on here were just impatient people. I was wrong. The people here have terrible customer service and are first to get mad at the customer which is very wrong. Please fix that, customers deserve to be able to talk to someone in regards to their package. Personally, I do not write reviews, but the experience I had was unbelievably rude. I did not even raise my voice or anything, I was just wondering where the package is and this man jumps at me saying UPS is wrong and it doesnt matter what they say and he wanted to argue even though, my tone was relaxed. Anyways, terrible.
