The lady Cathy is the most rude person I have ever encountered at a post office. I went in in a good mood until that lady was so rude rolling her eyes at me like I was bothering her. She has no business working there if she hates her job so much she should find another job. Time to retire maybe old mean lady that has no customer service. Did I mention she is the postmaster their thats crazy. How do you call to complain about her to herself. If you value your happiness i would definitely recommend going to another post office. Its worth the drive belive me its not the first time i have been to that post office she is rude always to everyone i cant stand it i send out several packages a month and she is so rude i would rather spend more money to ship with FedEx. I give them tons of money and this how i get treated. NO THANKS If a customer came into my work and i treated them like that they would never come back or spend another dime their.

Although we live in Sun City in Huntley, we go out of our way to go to the Gilberts Post Office. Its smaller, but the people are all extremely efficient and helpful. A one minute transaction takes one minute. At the Huntley Post Office, a one minute transaction takes five minutes due to excessive chatting and inefficiency. And, there is parking at the Gilberts Post Office! Even if there is a line, which there rarely is, it moves very quickly because of the efficiency of the staff in Gilberts.

We have a local business in Gilberts and we use the post office for most of our shipping needs and thats alot. Dealing with that lady at the counter is horrible!! Her customer service skills are pathetic and we hate going there. We needed 10 padded envelops to ship our product out on time and she would only give us 3 at a time? I asked why we have 10 items to go out and she said if you want more go to the Dundee post office. What?? Thats redicules. That lady SUCKS

I had the worst possible experience known to man at this Post Office. Cynthia was the rudest, most ignorant person I have ever encountered. Her customer service skills were absolutely horrible. She shouldnt be allowed to work in the window because she quite frankly has no idea how to talk to the public. She pointed her finger in my face, shouted and spoke to me in a horrible fashion. If she cant handle her job she should find a new career.

This place is in serious need of an upgrade. People if your sending 17 packages go somewhere else. Dont be rude. People have better things to do than wait in line while you fumble around trying to make out postage to multiple locations. Staff here is nice, curtious. Its the people that go there with no reguard for anyone else. Want to mail a letter go to the post office! Want to ship several packages go to ups. Thats what they do.

i am very tired of my mail ending up at other peoples homes. i actually received several pieces of mail that was 8 months to 1 yr old and you could tell it was sitting at someones home with coffee or drink stains on the envelopes. (4-20-2017)
