I sold an item on ebay and it was mailed to my customer in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on a Flat Rate Envelope. I mail USPS Flat Rates Envelopes and Boxes every-day. The most common problem I have with the USPS is not scanning tracking numbers on packages. Once in a while a lost package. I am familiar with USPS regulations. For the first time, the customer provide proof that he was charged extra on a FLAT RATE ENVELOPE. I am sure it did not exceed 3 lbs and all flaps were sealed on their own adhesive. Because of the USPS rough handling, I always clear taped all around. A note from USPS was left at the customer address to go and pick up and PAY AN EXTRA CHARGE OF $8.11 EXTRA. Below are the rules / regulations from USPS. 123 PRICES AND ELIGIBILITY 1.5 Any amount of material (up to 70 pounds) may be mailed in a USPS-produced Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope or Flat Rate Box. USPS-produced packaging, including Flat Rate containers, is not eligible for shipping live animals. 225 MAIL PREPARATION 1.2 Sealing Flat Rate and Regional Rate Packaging When sealing a Flat Rate Envelope, Flat Rate Box, or Regional Rate Box, the container flaps must be able to close within the normal folds. Tape may be applied to the flaps and seams to reinforce the container; provided the design of the container is not enlarged by opening the sides and the container is not reconstructed in any way.

The front counter workers are simply the best. They are hard workers who are able to maintain a smile while standing the entire day greeting customers, explaining the best way to ship and always asking the necessary questions. I feel that the workers and customers could use some lobby music to psychologically lighten the load. Fond du Lac USPS workers are simply the best.

I ordered UPS and they transferred my package to here. I payed for 3-7 day shipping yet it took close to 10 days to get my package. I called and they said it would be deliverers to me the next day. When I didnt get it the next day I called again and they said it would be delivered to me the next day again. Its just a terrible cycle and they really need to figure things out.

Paula M. Gilbertson was extremely discourteous, unfriendly, unhelpful, and insulting. Thankfully, this is not my hometown post office and I dont have to deal with this "supervisor". Unfortunately, I do feel horrible for those who have their mail run through this woman..! She also refused to give me the contact information for her postmaster which is her supervisor...

Would give less if I could! Went there this morning (01/19/2017) at 8:15. No one else was there; two employees behind the counter. both talking, and couldnt take the time to give me their full attention on a matter. Just glanced at my money order and said rudely, we dont do those, have to go somewhere else!!!
