Been coming to the Woodstock location for over a year now since moving and always had a pleasant experience when dealing with Mike. I had to go up to the older womans register to ship two small packages and left incredibly angry. For one, she tried to charge me 3 times the amount I usually pay to ship a blue-ray. She argued with me about the price as well, then asked me what exactly it was, store-bought or home made video, and if it contained a note of any kind. The other package was a bottle of perfume which she told me they will no longer ship. I told her Ive shipped dozens of bottles of perfume and cologne at that location and never had a problem, and yes when asked if it was liquid, flammable etc I always said yes, no problem. I walked out of there and came back the next day to ship when Mike was available because this woman gave me so many problems on a blue ray and a small bottle of perfume. Mike shipped them both no problem, at the normal rate without trying to argue to get me to pay wayyy more and without asking invasive questions about details about whats in my packages (its a blue-ray, thats all you need to know!!) I shouldnt have had to come back the next day in the first place!

While I have never physically been to the Woodstock usps, I am unfortunately familiar with this location. I closely follow the tracking on everything I order/ship and have noticed that if my package ends up in the Woodstock location it will,without fail, end up staying there for1-3 days. Even on next day and their 2-3 day packages(as a result i rarely use expedited shipping anymore knowing that if my package ends up at this location its a complete waste of money) Locations like this are why i prefer UPS

They had my package at noon I went in at 5:30pm to see if I could save them time by just picking it up. The guy gave me attitude right off the bat walked in the back for maybe 30 seconds then came back up saying sorry its not sorted... He was just being super lazy and did not feel like looking for a single package. All I wanted to do was save time on both my end and theirs. I deal with customer service every day and this is comparable to going to a DMV. The rudeness and laziness is unreal

They are the worst at handling packages, I found this out when Amazon shipped my package through them. They are absolutely horrible at helping with questions regarding late delivery or missing packages. Their delivery is unbelievably slow. I recommend going with UPS or FedEx because it is worth the few extra dollars not to deal with the Woodstock Postal Office.

The absolute worst US post office Ive ever used. Unbelievably and consistently rude and lazy service. I frequently drive to Crystal Lake just to avoid having to use this place and its only three minutes away from me. Please clean house and put in some people who appreciate having a job.

Please dont order anything through here go with ups or FedEx. I ordered something and went the morning it arrived in Woodstock of asked if u could pick know it up and they didnt even bother to look for it they just said they had thousands of boxes and it would take forever.
