Please consider that almost EVERY Review on here is awful and unfortunately true. These so called salesman are liars and cheats looking to make a buck anyway they can even if it means selling death traps to pregnant women with a family. They will say one thing and do another. They will lie so well you will have a hard time not believing their slick crap. Easily the worst dealership I have ever encountered. Btw the way Thomas Toyota Auto group Two things to keep in mind. One, by state law you are required to provide an accurate and truthful description of the vehicle condition. You KNOWINGLY sold me a UNSAFE vehicle and LIED about it!!! Two, you are required to provide a history report for the vehicle when the history has led to the present condition of vehicle, especially when youve told the customer theyd get one after they requested it NUMEROUS times!!! MAKE SURE if you plan on purchasing a used vehicle from them, you recieve your Auto fax before you sign a damn thing! We requested it three times and were told itd be given to us. They waited till after I signed the papers to tell me there wasnt one and I didnt explain well enough just what it was I wanted. Good to know that they dont recognize the words car fax or auto fax...hmmm. The General Manager is an unfeeling jerk who made my husband out to be the bad guy, (A Bad Father and Husband) for letting me buy an unsafe vehicle from them. This is two days after I purchased the death trap that had been misrepresented over the phone and in person. After I took it to our local chevy dealership and they said "In no way can you drive this car or you will end up stranded with a destroyed engine!" Which was internally damaged and had to be replaced anyway. They were baffled that a dealership as well represented as Thomas Scion would be okay with putting their customers lives at risk as long as the customer had signed their rights away on an as is vehicle. The so called noise we heard when we turned on the car was a "fan related issue" nothing more. "$50, an easy fix." The car had had a safety inspection and "was by all means safe" according to the crooks. I asked for the inspection papers and was told over and over Id get them. I didnt. I know now how on your guard you have to be around people like this because they dont care about you. They care about your money. That noise, the so called fan related issue? Broken time chain that caused internal engine damage. Today, two days after I purchased the vehicle I had to buy a used engine which cost me more then half the price of the vehicle. Liars, Cheaters and Crooks. People we dealt with, Lance, Joe, Ozzy and The General manager who was the worst of all, John K. for not doing the right thing and on top of it treating my husband the way he did when he had had every right to be upset.I hope they eventually get theirs and go under. With good honest businesses falling apart every day because theyre honest when Thomas Toyota is nothing but a thieving money sucking plague on sociey. Anywhere has to be better then here, please take the time and ask around. Also BBB please take a look at these reviews! Thomas toyota scion does not belong on your site and I will be logging a complaint on your website next. Buying a vehicle from Thomas Toyota can be easily described as the worst mistake you could make financially. Good luck if you decide to do business with them and make sure you have plenty of money because theyll take you to the cleaners. One of the worst experiences in our life. Aleast we are all okay and I have a chance to warn other people... WIsh I could give NO STARS...

I had read so many seemingly over-the-top positive reviews of Thomas Nissan that I felt I had to go check it out for myself. So, even though it is not exactly my local dealer (I live in Glendale Heights) I drove down there to shop for a new car. I might have been skeptical of some of the reviews, but I am a believer now. I bought a new Altima there and this was easily the best car-shopping experience I have ever had. First, I loved the one-price approach. I got what I thought was a very good price and I didnt have to work for it at all -- it was right on the windshield. My salesman, Ethan Quinn, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I told him what I was looking for and he checked and found exactly the car I wanted on the lot. He then explained the one-price approach and showed me exactly what they were asking for the car. He then brought the car around and walked me through its various features and finally we took it out for a nice test drive. Ethan was very friendly and easy-going and I never felt pressured in any way. I liked the car a lot and said I wanted to buy it. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and helpful. As I waited to speak with the finance manager, both the sales manager and the general manager stopped by to thank me for driving so far to visit their dealership. The general manager, Mike Gors, even sat down with me for a bit to chat while I was waiting and made me feel very welcome. The finance manager (Steve?) was also very friendly and helpful -- he made sure that I understood the terms of the loan and explained every step of the sales transaction, which was driven by an online application they use to manage the paper work. At one point, they lost connection to the internet (which appeared to be due to a problem with their internet service provider). While they worked at trying to get back online to finish the sale, at least three people stopped in to check on the status and everyone kept apologizing for the delay. I kept explaining that I understood that the problem was beyond their control but they apologized anyway and, in the end, threw in some free oil changes "for my trouble" (in addition to some they had already given me as part of a new car buyers package). Since taking my new car home, I have heard from them two or three times, just checking in to make sure that I am happy with the car, letting me know that theyd be happy to answer any questions or help me out if I should experience any problems. All in all, a first-rate experience. Even though it would be a bit of a hassle taking my car there for service, particularly if I need to drop it off and go to work since I doubt that Im going to find anyone willing to drive to Joliet to pick me up, I think Im going to try getting my service done there, anyway -- if their service department is anything like their sales department, it will likely be worth the hassle.

Found a car online I was interested in. After going through a hokey process both on chat and via online requests, I finally got a sales person to talk to. Jim - Great guy. I wanted to know more, so he took the time to go drive the car and call me back. I live 4 hours away and said I would drive there and buy the car if it was as advertised but wanted to verify that they would hold the car for me until then or I wouldnt make the trip. Jim offered to hold it and stayed 2 hours past his normal time to be there for me and hold the car. He called me after I was more than halfway there to tell me that someone was looking at the car. I was furious. He apologized and said someone else was showing the car. I asked to speak to his Manager. His manager replied that "what if I didnt buy it" I told him that I had gotten cash and I wasnt driving 4 hours to take a joy ride. He asked what was he supposed to tell the person that was interested in it? I said perhaps tell them that you are holding it for someone driving 4 hours to come see it. If they can wait a couple of more hours he can call them, in the mean time, here are some other cars they have. He said, well the person is having a credit check and if they arent approved, the car would still be available and I should sit tight for 15 minutes. Un-believable. (What if they didnt get approved and I kept driving and then 10 min before I got there, someone bought it? ) In his ultimate greed to get a sure sale - the only risk of which was whether or not the website faithfully represented it - he probably blew the change to sell two cars - one to me and another to this other person. This is the type of lack of professionalism that gives used car dealerships a bad reputation. By the way, he waited until the person had already decided to buy and was getting the credit check before telling me, which means I probably could have turned around a half hour earlier. Jim later called me to apologize. He knew I was furious and I appreciated his courage in calling me back to close the loop. It is unfortunate that someone like him with good basic business relationship instincts works under a loser like the manager I spoke to. Nissan, do you know how your Brand is being treated with this sales Manager? I would not buy anything from this dealership and certainly for anyone else, do not drive any distance to see a car.
