The communication within this company is horrible. So I called on a Thursday to set up an appointment for a leaking toilet and it was set for the following Tuesday(Labor Day weekend). The time frame was set for 12p-2p. So when Tuesday came I was called at 9:15am letting me know that he would be there in about 15 minutes. 9:30am is nowhere near close to noon. But I guess early is better then later and I was actually able to leave work early (30min away) to get home. So Tom was the plumber and started working on the upstairs toilet at 10am. He determined the toilet was a little rocky and needed a new seal and reset the toilet. He was done pretty fast and was out the door by 10:45am and charged me over $250. He mentioned that we can not use the toilet for at least 24hrs. Nobody in the house used the toilet and an hour later there was a pool of water in front of the toilet and streaming from underneath the toilet. So I called Jim Wagner back at 12pm(noon) and got their answering service letting them know the water leak wasnt fixed and I have water pooling in front of the toilet. They said they will pass the message on. I did NOT receive a call, so at 2pm I called back and AGAIN the answering service was going to pass along the message to "the office". Well it is now 6pm and still no returned call. So I called AGAIN and demanded I get a call back today or I will be putting a stop payment on the $254 I was charged for NOT fixing the leak. Finally I received a call at 8pm from the "on-call" guy and he was apologetic and we set up a new day/time (Thursday morning). At 9pm I received a voicemail from Tom asking to give him a call. So the next morning I called Tom at 7:30am but no answer. He did call back about an hour later but said "Hi this is Tom from Wagner plumbing, you have a question about your hot water heater?" I said no, you must have the wrong number. He said he had a missed call from this number and I said yes I called returning your call. He then said "oh then I dont know why they gave me this number" and "ok, well have a good day then." Again this was horrible company communication. So when Thursday came around Tom did show up and said it was leaking from the back and was going to cost another $68. At this point it better not leak again because this is a rip off and a huge waste of my time getting off work. I understand that there might be a couple issues with a leaking toilet but thats why people call professionals to find those issues and fix them. Not fix one issue, charge you, then come back to fix the other issue(s) for an additional charge. *****I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!*****

As bad of service I ever received. The plumber they sent (Gus) was ill prepared for the job at hand. The leak was between floor boards he only brought a three step ladder, he needed to cut into the ceiling drywall but only had a box cutter (which left a very uneven hole in my ceiling). He told me that it was the vent pipe but we could see water dripping when water was running so what would the vent pipe do with that. As it turns out the leak was in the drainage pipe of the sink. He quoted me a price of nearly $1500 which I thought was a little expensive so decided to try for another contractor. I called Jim Wagner back when I realized how difficult it was to get contractors and scheduled a time when the leak could be fixed by them. On the day of the appointment I received a call asking if the vanity has been removed yet? I told him know that I expected him to do that since to have the vanity removed the sink would have to be disconnected first. Certainly his quote (and what I agreed to pay) was more than adequate for the time it would take to have that removed. Him and the office staff informed me that it was my responsibility to removed. I told the plumber to leave. I was able to get another plumber who quickly told me it wasnt the vent pipe rather that the drainage pipe had the leak. They fixed at almost half the price quoted by Jim Wagner. Use these use Jim Wagner at your own risk.

When you have ANY plumbing issue, here is the first thing to do--CALL JIM WAGNER PLUMBING! This past Saturday afternoon, I found water gushing out of the first floor laundry room floor drain. I immediately called Jim Wagner Plumbing, and they responded with a serviceman at my door within an hour. The serviceman, Greg F., quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken underground sewer line just outside of the house. Greg did everything he could to drain as much water out of the sewer line as possible on Saturday to prevent further backup. On Sunday morning, Greg was back to do the prep work to replace the broken sewer line. This morning after securing the necessary permits, etc., Greg was back along with a crew to excavate the area outside so they could replace the broken sewer line. This major job was completed this morning within about 4 hours! I cannot say enough about the professional service from Jim Wagner Plumbing. The crew, including Greg and Mike was very responsive, experienced, friendly and extremely neat even under adverse weather conditions. And here is the kicker, the cost for this project was very reasonable. For the skeptics who feel all of these great reviews are made up, I guarantee that Jim Wagner Plumbing has earned each and every great review that you read! Thank you Greg for a job well done!

What an awful experience I had. I wanted my tub/shower fixture (shower head, faucet, on/off handle) replaced. I purchased the fixtures in advance. When the plumber showed up, he started talking about cutting out 2-3 holes in my wall, including one in my dining room. The cost would be over $700. I said I just wanted to replace the brass for the chrome - there should be not a need to cut. Then he said he had an idea to save me money - he could just replace the fixtures for about $200. Uh, isnt that what I asked for? He proceeded to replace the fixture and said that face plate was missing from the box - the unopened box. I went to the hardware store to get something that would work. Long story short, he said there were 2 screws missing and he still needed to cut a hole in the wall because the fixtures just would not fit. He could not finish the job. Later in the evening when I was picking up the box, underneath was the missing face plate and screws. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? IT WAS ALL THERE! You are not coming back to finish. I will hire someone who is competent instead.

"After hrs call" in which they refer to an "Emergency Call"...$99, arrived at 7pm, was told kitchen drain and 2in pipe to main was clogged, was told $200 plus call out, but estimate left behind stated...$316.00. I had the service done around the same time of day by another company about 6 months prior, the reason I say this is because they were called and here, power rodded and left in the span of 2 hours for 2 techs (it took 1hr for them to arrive). So by there quotes they want to charge me $316 for an 1hr of work!!! Yeah will never use or call them again, and will advise as many people I can to steer clear. I did bite the bullet and have to pay the $99 service call...live n learn, and the reason why I didnt call the previous company....I couldnt remember who they were and lost the receipt!!!!
