Back in April 2017, we contacted ABC to come out and give an estimate to repair our central air conditioner, the system would freeze the line into the compressor after about 2hrs of operation, happened every spring, obviously there is a small leak in the system. We were contacted by them to schedule an appointment and a representative showed up the next morning. After a brief, and I mean brief, inspection of our system, we were told it would be cheaper to replace than repair, its and older R22 system. I responded to him that for the last 4 yrs a contractor just filled the system, about 1 pound each time/yr and thats all we wanted. The representative then told us that a person would come by later in the day to discuss repair/replace the system, we accepted that. 2hrs later another rep showed up, performed a brief, and I mean brief inspection, and proceeded to try to sell us a new system. Once again I explained that in the past we just had it filled, he told us a rep would call to set up repair. 2 days later we called the office at 10am to see if anyone was going to call us to set up the repair, which we were told someone would call shortly. At 5pm a tech called to inform he would come by the next day approx.10am and a minimum $100 charge. 2pm the next day he showed up making all sorts of excuses for being late and proceeded to hook up his diagnostic computer, let it stabilize, at which time we had a dialog about replacing the system because its R22, I told him we couldnt afford their new system they were trying to sell us, 8-10K. The system stabilized in about 10min and he took some visual readings from his diagnostic computer (see pic 1) and said that "Its full of gas,,, has to be something else" at which time he quoted me 2-3K to troubleshoot the problem. Once again I told him that in the past all we did was have if filled, he said "The numbers dont lie". (Any competent tech could see that its low on gas from the readings,, I later found out). He washed off some debris from around the base and said that should do it, wrote me an invoice for $100 and left. 3hrs later the line was frozen (see pic 2). In the morning the following day I called and explained that the problem was not resolved and to please have the tech come back TO FILL THE SYSTEM. Same guy showed up around 4:30pm, hooked up his diagnostic computer, I showed him pic 2, he said he cant fill with R22 because he would be fired at which time I told him not to waste any more of his time and leave, he quoted me $100 for the visit, I laughed in his face and told him to leave at which time he just picked up his diagnostic computer, tools and walked away leaving part of the system disassembled. Ill make a longer story short, had another guy come by, reassemble and put a pound of R22 in and its still working today Sept 16, total charge $300.00 (mostly R22 cost) I would not recommend this particular office for anything that has to do with their business.

If I can give a negative score to ABC, I would. One star is way too high and I have terrible experience with this company. Put the story in short: my furnace works well since the winter starts in late 2016, ABC called me in January 2017 to schedule a "free" regular checking they provides to the customer who pays the monthly fee as member. Then the technician came to my home, checked the furnace, and when he pulled out of the sensor, he just BROKE it! Then he told my husband it is not his fault, the sensor is just too old, it is fragile and falls apart when he pull it out to exam. The next thing he said is without the sensor , my furnace cant be turned on and cant work. The solution he gave is let him replace the old "broken" sensor at 369$. This is ridiculous : my furnace works perfectly before ABC technician comes, ABC supposes to send it technician to do the regular checking, not to make the problems!!!! I called the company and argued about what they did. I was told that it is not its "experienced" technicians fault, the manager is willing to lower the price to 269$ and thats the best they can do. I google online and know that the common cost to replace a sensor is between 100 to 200$, let alone it is broken by ABC technician himself. I told them I am willing to pay 200$ as I dont want to take their part and service for free, but they should take some responsibility for breaking the old sensor. It may be an old sensor, but it WORKS FINE before ABC technician come to my home and break it! The end? I finally paid 269$ for the replacement of sensor broken by ABC technician. I called a couple of shop in town, their services is about 180-220$, but they need one or more days to order the new sensor. The day ABC disfunctioned my furnace is one day before Chinese new year eve, and I dont want to leave my family members in a house without heating in a freezing winter night. I share my experience here so people wont be fooled again by what they do. ABC persuades me to join its program as a member and provide free quarterly checking as benefit. Whenever the technician comes to check the equipment at my home, I was told there is something needs repairing, but the quota they provided is much higher then the market price. During the first time I used their service, ABC checked the water tank for me and cost and fee they proposed is round 1300$. I finally chose the service from Lowes and everything included cost me about 700$. This time, the thing gets worse and this company goes further: they broke your equipments part and charge you high price for the replacement and new part. It is because of the weather that I have no choice but use their "service" to get the new sensor installed, but this would be the last time I use ABC service Stay away from this company, period.

First off, please note that the reviews on Google are inconsistent with the reviews on Yelp and Yahoo, which average 1-3 stars (as of the date of this edit). So read all these reviews with a grain of salt and consider your risk tolerance. My advice is that you should avoid this company at all costs. We called ABC to investigate an apparently malfunctioning central air conditioner in our attic. The "serviceman" from ABC arrived, spent a while supposedly looking over our unit, and told us all was well. Apparently our unit just wasnt able to keep up with the extra heat, he said. He spent a little while looking at a second unit out back and then charged us $198 for the combined service visit. A couple of days later I woke to find water dripping through the plaster ceiling of our second floor. Hundreds of dollars of damage requiring plaster and paint work. The source, of course, was the attic unit that ABC had inspected only days before. On calling ABC to complain, they sent a second serviceman to our house. He discovered that the outflow pipe from our AC unit was clogged and confirmed that the first serviceman missed it. For around a week, our emergency pan evidently had been catching overflow water and was routing it down an emergency PVC drain pipe to our basement. The first serviceman didnt notice - or at least didnt mention - that, either. However, the first so-called inspector DID reposition a wire on the underside of our unit, to a spot outside of the emergency pan. By doing that, he allowed this buildup of water to drip down the wire, bypassing the emergency pan entirely and eventually causing all of our damage. The second serviceman also confirmed that our AC units air filter was clogged. These filters have a lifespan of 1-3 months, so it obviously didnt clog in just 3-4 days, yet once again the first serviceman did not notice or mention the air filter to us. I have to say that this is - to me - almost conclusive proof that the first serviceman never performed the inspection he charged us for. We spent four weeks trying to get ABC to acknowledge the damage they caused and provide us with a price correction and/or fix the damage their serviceman caused. But as of this writing, four or five calls and two more service visits later ($200+ additional charges for various ineffectual attempts to get our unit operational) no one from ABC ever has contacted us to acknowledge their screw up. I strongly recommend that you steer well clear of this outfit.
