When I showed up, there were 2 cars ahead of me and only 1 person working. I was quoted 1 hour for the oil change. I completely understand a wait at an understaffed location, and thats not the problem I had. After an hour and fifteen minutes, the car ahead of me was just coming out of the bay. I was told that I was next, but the tech had to find someone to pull my car into the bay because he couldnt drive a manual transmission. After another 15 minutes, and I still wasnt in the bay, I decided to leave figuring it would take another 15 minutes after to find someone to drive it out of the bay. I spent the next 10 minutes ringing the bell trying to get someone to give me my keys back. At the end of the 10 minutes, my car was being pulled into the bay, and I asked for it to be brought back out so that I could just leave. The tech pulled my car around to drop it off for me. It was the same tech that told me he couldnt drive a manual. When I asked him why he couldnt drive it before, but not he can, I was told, "Well, I didnt want to risk it, but I can drive stick for short distances". Uhm, if it was a risk, why did you drive my car at all? This was answered with a dear in the headlight look. After 2 hours, I left without the oil change and called customer service. I was told I would receive a call from the store manager. Its the next day now, and I still have not received that call. I still dont understand how it was too big of a risk to take to have a tech who doesnt know how to drive, drive my car before, but after a couple hours, that risk wasnt a factor anymore???

Im standing here waiting ... Brought my car in for an oil change. Its been finished for over 20 minutes and now the associate at the counter is trying to track down a manager to "audit" the work. I will NEVER bring my car here again. Thanks for the (lack of) exceptional service.

The people were very nice and professional, but they desperately need better procedures and systems. The pricing was better than most, so if you can afford a bit of extra time compared to the competition, then Walmart is a decent choice.
