Had my oil changed, only to be charged full service price , supposed to check an top off fluids grease steering componets , ,,, only to find washer fluid low , coolant tank below full level, transmission level was still below full mark, only outer steering joints was greased , inter joints was not greased, drive shaft joints was not greased, differential was not topped off , when you go to Merlins just remember, so much for your muti car inspection, an full service you dont get , only to be told some of the items (fluids) are not covered, what part of full service is not full service , Ive had questionable service at this place before , an over looked it , after checking what service was performed an I was Billed , Ill never recommend or us this company again

My experience was very bad and unprofessional. I had a 4 wheel alignment done on my vehicle after replacing a control arm. The car pretty much kicked out on me every time I went over a sewer cap or train track so I brought the car to the dealership to see what was up they told me the people that previously did the alignment messed up horribly so the dealer corrected the alignment and have gave me a sheet showing how off it was, it was bad I would never let that shop touch my car again. I asked to talk to a manager I put in a complaint got the managers number and when i called other employees kept answering saying hes not around or in the bathroom. Ha! So long story short shady buissnes. Stay away!

If I could give John and his amazing staff 10 stars I would!!! Not only was I treated fairly and with much respect the staff were kind, professional, kind and very respectful of my Jeep. Mr. John took the time to explain to me the very small issue with my exhaust, that I was afraid was worse than it is, he quoted me a VERY FAIR estimate and explained that the rest of my exhaust is in very solid condition. If ANY McHenry people need ANYTHING repaired, replaced, or even looked at on your cars, PLEASE visit Mr. John and his AWESOME staff at Merlins in McHenry across from Walgreens and right next door to CVS, I promise you will not leave unhappy!!!!!!!! Best Customer Service EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Eric, John, Rick and all of the staff at this location are AWESOME! They have taken care of my car needs many times and have always been honest and helpful. I have continued to bring my car there because I trust them. Its not easy to find representatives who are really honest but here they have offered lots of good advice to help me maintain my car without being pushy. I would rate this location a 10! They are customer friendly and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Ive always had a great experience here at Merlin McHenry, when I had my truck I only brought it here.... Today I had to replace a tire on my grandparents lawn mower and they helped me find a place that carried the inertube I needed. Once I got the inertube I gave them a call and told me to bring it in and they could replace it for me. John here at Merlin made it quick and easy for me to get this done today.... I give you guys a 10 star rating!!!! Thanks again.

Went in with a "strange" problem and Merlin was so nice, professional and honest. My motorhome was having some air suspension problems so they took a look at it for me and found nothing wrong. It appeared that there was just some debris in the lines. Some other place could have really took advantage of us but not this Merlins. THANK YOU!! You will have my future repair business.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the exceptional service I received at the Merlins in McHenry. They did a great job on my brakes and gave me recommendations on others things on my car that needed looking at the future- without sounding too pushy!! The manager could not have been more kind and considerate, I highly recommend checking it out .

Great service, and they stand behind their work. I have been turning wrenches since 1992. I have my ASE certification and have worked in a dealership for 7 years. I finally retired from that line of work, and decided I was too old to work on my cars anymore. It took awhile for me to find a store that I trusted with my cars, this is the place.

I cant say enough good things about the McHenry Merlin and the great staff, especially the manager, John. My daughters car broke down and needed major repairs two days before we were leaving on vacation and John went above and beyond to help us and to give us peace of mind while we were gone. paid way too much for an oil change to find out I have a trans leak. bring it to my dealership and they said that they made a mess with everything. oil everywhere, loose plug covered in oil. dont recommend.
