On July 10th of this year I had my Kenworth straight truck breakdown approximately 5 miles from Kendalls. They sent a gentleman to look at it. The engine cranked over, but would not start. My driver had checked all the fluid levels and they were good. The gentleman from kendalls checked for codes and found several in the system. He told me he had to have it towed to there shop because there was likely a wiring issue with the ecm (computer) and all his wiring diagrams were at the shop and he didnt want to work on it along the road. The truck was on a country road with corn fields on both sides. He said Jonnys Towing and Recovery Inc could tow the truck for $ 400.00. I said no that was outrageous . He then said it could be done for $ 250.00 and I agreed. He called Jonnys ( on speaker phone) while my driver was standing right there and the gentleman from Jonnys asked what he quoted for the tow he said $ 400.00 but I wouldnt pay that and he had lowered to $ 250.00. The gentleman from Jonnys said well charge him the $ 400.00 any ways.. My driver heard the entire conversation and because of this we were charged $ 250.00 for the tow. The Gentleman from Kendalls left at this point, telling my driver a tow truck should be there shortly. An hour and a half later the tow truck from Jonnys shows up. They hook the truck and tell my driver he hag to ride in his own truck because the wrecker had no space for him. When the truck was dropped at Kendalls the same mechanic that did the service call began looking the truck over. In the end he found a broken ground wire in the battery box. The mechanic from Kendalls told me twice if not three times that he had thirty years experience in the field of truck repair. In the end Kendalls charged me for 4 hours @ $ 110.00 per hour for a total of $ 440.00. Why couldn.t this have been done roadside for the minimum charge pf 2 hours. Why wouldnt a man with his experience check for that???. I asked Kendalls manager Joe that very question and he said I should have asked his mechanic to check the wires at the battery box and in the end I approved the tow. I have called Joe several times regarding this and he kept promising to call back when his mechanic was available so we could talk about this. I called him today and he told me I was SOL. BE AWARE JONNYS TOWING AND KENDALLS ARE NEIGHBORS AND THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM WORKING TOGETHER WHEN IT COMES TO FLEECING THE PUBLIC!!!!!!

First time using these guys and I was very impressed. Their mechanics are highly experienced and the management is very friendly and informative. Ive used many different mechanics over the years and this is the only place that sends me pictures and videos of the damaged parts on my car so that I can see it for myself, and we all know seeing is believing. I got into an accident and within a couple days, these guys had made my car feeling like it had never happened. Im definitely going to be coming back.

Do not go here!!! My brother in law has had so many problems with this place, its very disorganized, short staffed, unprofessional. Every single time he had his car serviced here, he asked for a call when it was done and they never called him back.

horrible rip off artist, these kids are hillarious. is this even really a shop? also i saw a jonnys towing truck pull in here twice....is this where THOSE SCUMBAGS WENT? BEWARE
