I trust them to provide an honest evaluation of the work that is necessary for my vehicle and know I am not being overcharged or worry that they are suggesting unnecessary repairs in order to make an extra dollar. My car was down and due to a delay in obtaining a part I was without my car for 5 days. Denny provided me with transportation so my schedule would not be disrupted. Project took 9 months had to turn around multiple times when picking up issues not fixed or new made under safe to drive (stuck ebrake due to pour 20 on cable) (over tightened steering box- when should have been replaced) several items just not done... remote start- brighter lights? There was water in lenses- put in new bulbs in something that should be replaced? Defroster connections not done. Didnt think I was upset at delay after delay? Staff issues painter behind... sometimes just didnt get followups. Nice guys but it didnt get truck done...

I recently took my car to Performance Unlimited for an oil change. I appreciate the honesty provided and the service is exceptional! Its rare you find an auto repair place that truly cares for their customers. They check your whole car over to make sure they didnt miss anything and that you understand what is going on and what it will cost. I wish I would have called them up when I needed my brakes replaced I would have saved a ton of money. Now that I have found them, they are stuck with me for life.

Ive used Performance Unlimited since they were on 31 in McHenry. Though I usually work on my own cars, I tend to do the simpler things, like oil, brakes, water/power steering pumps, etc. However, when I have a problem, these guys have helped me out numerous times.
