Naperville, IL Location I had a nightmare experience today afternoon (1/9/15 around 2:10 p.m.). The cars were moving very slowing, understandably, because it was 5F outside and the staff was doing the wash and dry inside. So it took a while to get to the pay station. There was a van in front of me which had a railing on the roof which was much higher than the height limit bar at the pay station.- so the girl manning the pay station had to find a way to get the van out of the way. No small task. Rather than call for back-up, she and her manager decided to take care of the issue abandoning all the cars stuck in line. After about 15 mins (and yes I honked to get their attention) the girl came up to me defiantly and started yelling that she was taking “care of an issue”. I explained that I can see she has an issue, but she cannot just abandon the rest of the customers and deal with it. To which she replied that she was doing her job and I did not have to tell her how to do it! I asked her what customer service means - and she gave me a look which clearly stated what she did not put in words. As i paid and moved forward, she walkie-talked her manager and I could see this guy (who was helping the stuck van to move out of the lot) - hurrying towards my car. Thinking he would apologize for the wait and lousy behavior, I was SHOCKED to hear him yell at me telling me that I should have more patient and I should NOT talk “like that” to his employees. Now - I have managed people in the service industry as well and I would stand up for my employees. However, he CLEARLY has one side of the story and assumed that I was the aggressive one. I asked him if he was interested in hearing my side of the story - to which he basically said “you are not welcome here”! FINE - hey I am not the one running a business for profit - and clearly he and the girl at the pay station are not aware of what it takes to keep a customer. Well Delta Sonic - you just LOST a paying customer for LIFE. Good thing I did NOT get suckered into buying the monthly subscription. Imagine that - I would stuck with a bill to an establishment where I am not welcome. Also - clearly he radioed all the guys in the front to make sure I continued to get a lousy wash! I am done with these guys!

Delta Sonic in Naperville is the WORST car wash ever, if I could give it less than one star I would. I took my car here to get the exterior and interior washes and when I got home I realized one of my floor mats in the back was completely gone. I have never taken my floor mats out of my car before (because why would I) and came right back to the place to let them know that I was missing my rear left floor mat. I talked to two different managers who just continued to tell me they did not do it and all I could do was file a claim and that department would decide if they would reimburse me or not. They were very rude and not helpful at all. I filled out the report knowing they would probably decline having lost it and not do anything about it. That is exactly what happened. I got a letter in the mail about a week later saying they reviewed their camera videos and all floor mats were put back in the car after they were removed. WRONG. They also offered me two free interior washes for my inconvenience. Great thanks for washes I will never use because I will not ever go back to this place. I had to buy new floor mats which only come in a set for $70.00. This place is complete garbage and did not offer to replace or pay for the floor mat they stole from my car and never put back. Avoid this place at all costs! They are also insanely overpriced.

I brought my van in to get the Deluxe interior done and they told me that cause it is a larger vehicle it would cost $3.00 more so I paid $32.00 I said fine and turned the car over to them. It started right they pulled the front mats and out and washed them and vacuumed the whole van. The back seats nothing was removed and the third row also nothing removed and then the car was driven out. This service is $15.00 dollars more then the basic service. So the row 2 and 3 mats received no attention, I watched thru the glass and was amazed to see it quickly go on the conveyor and right out the door. I went and got the manager and told him I didnt sign up for service like this. They talked me into the Deluxe service and said they would do the whole interior of the car. I was so irritated and disappointed with the very poor service I left without a refund. The manager offered, he told me I would have to go with him to do this, They were wasting my time even more, I left then. So for $32.00 the car got vacuumed and they did the front mats. The guy that was doing my car was so lazy and the funny thing is that I stood there and watched and usually when people know you are there and watching they do a better job, Did work like this in this case!! When you need it done right, just do it yourself, I learned a good lesson today.

If you like your paint job on your car, I would suggest you dont use the exterior wax services from this car wash. I took my truck in for a wax job to remove the scratches on the clear coat, when they sold me the wax package they guaranteed me that the scratches would be removed and they guarantee this claim. I got the wax job and all scratches were removed, 2 weeks later (and about 7 washes after the wax job), the same scratches appeared on the truck. I took my car back to have the scratches buffed out again and they tried to say that they were different scratches. The Manager on Duty was George and he tried to convince me that there process for removing scratches was very accurate and they couldnt come back, but apparently the tech that waxed my truck did a quick, creme polish wax and not a 3 step sanding wax which goes down to the clear coat to remove the surface scratches in the paint. I have owned and operated a detail shop for 7 years and never have I seen a half done wax job like what Delta Sonic did to my truck. On a good note the washes are cheap and they have a good tunnel car wash, but like I just stated the detail services are below standard and give amateur results by to say the least.

Great car wash. My 8" lifted Silverado 2500HD LT 6.0 on 37s fits by a millimeter or two. They hand dry every vehicle, sometimes a lot better than others... quality dry lacks sometimes. Also worked here.. not a good place to work at all. What kind of business doesnt have set schedules, you get a start time but no designated leave time... every single shift you have to call a hour ahead of time for the "possibility" that you might work on a day your scheduled Maybe for some kids on highschool that dont know any better but. As 20+ dont apply. I left and now make real money. Instead of this places slave wages. Still go for the wash in winters. They made us use a "perfect finish" a and blow out the side mirrors.... Wed get in trouble if we didnt use it: Ive been through hundreds of times and never had this done to my truck. Says a lot.
