The 3 star rating is mainly towards Customer Service. The first time I called a couple months back, CS tried everything they could to help when I had trouble shooting with my dvr box not getting signal; eventually tgey sent someone out to replace my cable box (it crashed). The second time I called mentioning downgrading to cut the bill down for financial reasons, and the CS employee got short with me and snappy. I have medium cable and was asking the different prices with small cable, "youd only be saving like $3." I nicely said "okay, well how much more for large cable?" He said, "Its kinda funny how you wanna switch to spending more money now, but when you called you wanted to spend less (with tone)" I said, "Well, if I only save $3 by downgrading to small cable, how much more a month for large?, Im just trying to get prices here and get the best I can for my money...if its only a few dollars more I would be getting double the channels." Then he said, "It would be $20 extra a month." "Okay, thanks for your time." Then he quoted his friendly customer service goodbye. I get a little heated when a customer like me, who was extremely polite, is just curious about prices and whats best for my money, and yet still gets an attitude from customer service. I wouldve thought they would be willing to educate me on prices and be patient. Ive only been a customer since Feb. 2017. I do understand that they deal with a lot of stuff through the day, but I was super nice and he made me feel like he thought I was up to something? Weird! But, the installation a few months back was great and dealt with really nice guys. My hisband and I are past Spectrum users with 300 mbs internet and our signal was so poor in Chandler, IN, ran at 20 mbs at the highest, that we had to switch. We like Wow! medium cable and 100 internet so far, but they will raise your bill slowly through the 2 year contract, they made me aware of it though. I got the bundle through Wow! that they offered at the time, its $130 a month as of now but could raise $10-$20 over the next 2 years of contract. Our internet is fast for game downloads on xbox, etc. really happy with it, our cable sometimes gets fair signal and cuts out for a few seconds, but doesnt bug me too bad.

By far the worst provider in the area. The numerous price increases got me to switch to TWC about a year ago. It was after I switched, that I realized how horrible the internet was with WOW, not to mention the poor channel selection. A year later, I am still very pleased with TWC. Now I am dealing with a simple transfer of my mothers account with WOW. She has been a customer of theirs for years. Years of loyalty and on time payments. Unfortunately the complex in Newburgh she has moved to can only get service from WOW. We have tried over two weeks to just get an install for a service transfer. I have spoken to at least 5 different people in the so called customer service department. Nothing, they claim the new address shows existing service, which is bizzare since the previous tenant has been gone since at least June. We have sent copies of leases, and get promises of call backs, etc...but two weeks later, still nothing has been set. When you call, and go through all of the auto-prompts again and again, you have to start all over again with who ever answers the phone. The complex has told me they have numerous issues with WOW, and that they have been working with TWC to get service in there, which supposedly is now in process. I also called TWC and begged them to accelerate this process. In the meantime, we are still forced to get WOW so she can at least keep the landline and number she has had for over 50 years. Since she has been using an antenna in the time that she has moved, she is actually pleased with the channel selection and shows she can get over the air in Newburgh. WOWs incompetence have already cost them a long time TV customer. If she could get another avenue for internet and phone, we would never deal with these clowns again. I told my wife that we would have dial up at our house before I would ever deal with WOW again.

Lets see here, where to start? The cable guy was 18 years old and acted very very, I dont know how to say this, but very dumb like he had a huge learning problem or like a 5 year old. He also was at my house for over 9 hours doing nothing and had his boss come in at the last minute because he cant do his job right. He broke the telephone line outside as well & he was UNDERNEATH my house doing something that was completely useless. He also was home alone with my teenage daughter, she mentioned how when she answered the door he was staring at her breasts and took a couple minutes to speak to her because he was staring at her private parts. He acted like a child who has a crush on someone. Pathetic. Also, he didnt even ask if she was 18 & she is 15 and looks a bit young for her age. He also came in in DIRTY shoes, completely ruined the carpet, & didnt put the slip on shoe covers on. Now, The internet literally doesnt connect, the cable skips out and the cable box shuts off and restarts every 5-10 mins and takes 10 minutes to restart. I might as well get this cable & internet for free. Well, honestly I wouldnt even want it for free.

I have ultra TV and it literally was not working correctly from day 1. No local channels and the tech left without fixing it. I needed a new cable outlet and another tech drilled a hole up from the crawlspace, THROUGH our new homes molding, missed his mark, and redrilled another hole through the floor. No cable outlet, just wires coming out of the carpet. The tv and internet service frequently go out and it takes either a minimum of 1 hour with customer support troubleshooting the problem or 1 week for a tech to come to your home. Often times the phone calls are dropped and the troubleshooting needs to be restarted from the beginning. Last the customer service lied and said the call was dropped because I called from my land line (yes, I still have one of those) but I was really calling from my cell phone. Oh yeah, my bill is now higher than what it was when I negotiated a lower price to continue service.

Was promised superb ultra tv, was promised everything in one package and price. Needless to say writhing my first 60 days I made 21 phone calls. Every time I called it was different answers. You cannot watch vod they told me they cant figure out what the issue is but its being worked on. The ultra tv box reset itself all the time still no answer to that. was promised everything for 130 first bill was 160 before I had to call and get a special package to get NFL network even though I asked the sales.rep multiple times to see if it came with my package. Turns out I was lied too. Then I received 2 letters. The first stating surcharge was being raised 6 bucks and hbo was going up 2 bucks. The 2nd stated that they are removing stars and encore but I can buy it for 12 bucks a month. This cable company has horrible service and customer service. I do not recommend to anyone even my Enemys!
