Let me start by saying the guys that actually moved worked with my wife and they were fine. The problem was the price and and the service I received from Mike following the partial move. We called asking for a quote to swap two refrigerators between two houses and then move 6 power tools from one garage to the other. That was it. I informed them that we had moved a lot of other stuff but we didnt want to get into removing refrigerator doors and thought wed leave it to the pros. They gave us an estimate for about $250 - $260. In the conversation they said that there was a 2 hour minimum but they estimated the work woudl be 1.5 hours. That is where the first problem was. I did not realize that the estimate was written for an hour and a half even though there was a 2 hour minimum. So there would have been no way that the price was at the estimated price. When they got here it took them 3 hours to move everything and they charged us about $450. When I called I got a nice smug response from Mike from the beginning of the conversation. He came across with an attitude that made it clear to me that he didnt care, because he knew he had his ass covered with the paperwork that said it was just an estimate and that we woudl be responsible for actual charges. I want to be clear I understand what an estimate means, and if it goes over then fine, but when you under estimate the time by 100% then you may want to show a little understanding to your client that feels like they just got the good ole bait and switch. I moved EVERYTHING into this house 6 years ago with a moving company for $650 from a place that was 30 minutes away and today I got a total of 8 items moved for 2/3 of that price with a smug response from Two Men and a Truck. I wont make the same mistake twice.

My experience with two men and a truck started out good until about halfway through the move. They destroyed a desk while trying to disassemble it. I had paid extra for insurance to cover such mishaps. The worker said after it was destroyed by "your covered ha ha Ha 100% then ha ha ha 75% or so." Then one of the movers Cut his finger on the washer. They didnt want to file an injury report so he set out for some time. Then they brought to me a sheet that said I had to pay extra because they couldnt get it done in time. I refused to sign the sheet because everything they were moving was listed They said well the fishing poles werent listed and the five extra garden tools were not listed. They said it would take them an extra 2 1/2 hours to move those items. When I refused to sign the movers were angry. Then they started talking about how great overtime was. Overall the movers worked hard. My experience with the claims department on the destroyed desk has so far been horrible. I spoke with the guy that offered 25% less than I paid for it a year ago because it was depreciate it after a year. Throughout the conversation he told me if I denied the charge on my credit card because they wouldnt pay for the desk in full that he would turn me into collections like all the rest. And said if I didnt like what they were offering then I would get nothing. Keep in mind I paid an additional $200 for extra insurance. I will never do business with this company again and I would suggest you think long and hard before you decide to do business with them. They are not reasonable, and look for any excuse to overcharge and underpay.

We used Two Men and Truck for a move from the sale of our home to a temporary apartment/storage and to our newly constructed home. The first move was improperly quoted even with us doing most of the packing, disassembling of furniture, etc that was originally included in the quoted price/time. The movers then placed items in the wrong place (apartment v storage) even though we denoted all storage items with a blue sticker, then charged us for their mishap. We went ahead and went with Two Men for the second phase, only to find that the original crew that moved our furniture improperly stacked furniture and boxes in storage resulting in a damaged bed (less than 6 months old), destroyed electronic fireplace (less than 6 months old), broken china, dishes, pictures; damaged/scraped master bedroom furniture, a tower of the entertainment center was leaned against another piece of furniture causing it to become unlevel. The new crew did a great job of moving items, but the damage was done. Additionally, Two Men misquoted the time/price again, resulting in more fees. We requested a refund of the second or first move since the second crew did their job well, but the damaged furniture was too much to be "patched" up and the fact that the office staff misquoted both moves. No resolution. Id not recommend this company which probably was good at one time, but with their lazy approach to hiring and training movers and poor customer service has greatly declined. The absolute worst result for what should be an exciting time. Find another company to work with.

Worst experience ever. Its pretty bad when three guys take longer to unload an apartment then two guys did to load it, with the exact same amount of stuff and from the same company. Their excuse? "Oh we promise our movers go as fast as possible." Bull. One of the three guys was brand new and had no idea how to lift heavy items. They had to continuously stop and instruct him, which didnt help because he dropped our reclining sofa. The new guy even dropped three of our boxes, which spilled open, and didnt say a word to us. The only reason we found out was because we were watching from a balcony. Its pretty bad when you hire a moving company and start to jam your car with items just so they dont touch it because you are no longer comfortable. To top it all off, the manager in Fishers refused to do anything. We tried for two weeks to personally hear from her and nothing ever happened. Several times we were promised she would call or email and nothing. Everytime we called they would put us on hold (pretty sure they were asking her if she wanted to talk) and she would always be in a "meeting". You would think a manager would care about a highly dissatisfied customer. If you care about your items and want to be charged fairly for hourly work, DO NOT GO WITH TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. Weve never felt so uncomfortable with movers moving our stuff.

Even with 3 men it still took longer than it should have. They were moving very slowly. One of the guys used my bathroom 3 times within the 2 hour move, leaving a not so pleasant smell each time. He was also huffing and puffing the whole time. The other guy asked to smoke his e-cig inside my apartment. I was not impressed with the level of professionalism at all. The man who was in charge of the crew was the only one who seemed like he knew what he was doing and had a sense of urgency. They broke the one item I asked them to be extra careful with (my flat screen tv). They left one of my lamp bases in the truck and I have still not heard a word back about it even though Ive called them multiple times and have left multiple messages. Ive been moved in now for almost 2 weeks and STILL have a broken TV. They are working on it but who knows how long this is going to take to resolve. Not good service for the price I paid to be professionally moved. Next time I move I will stick with having friends and family help.
