The initial delivery was done on time. From that moment on, the company became uncommunicative and unprofessional. The unit was picked up at Home 1 a day after we asked and without communication. It wasnt gone the day we expected, no one told us why. It was gone the next day. Okay. Skip to Home 2. Were ready to unload our storage unit. We scheduled to have it delivered on Wednesday so were ready to unload for the weekend. Wednesday, nothing. Thursday, we call and leave a message. No response. Friday, we call and leave a message and email. The local operations manager calls back and explains that the driver was sick and they will get the unit to us on Monday. So we cant unload when we planned over the weekend. We were understanding, though it would be nice to be told this ahead of time. The unit doesnt show up until Tuesday. Not good. Skip to the end. We empty the storage unit the next weekend and email and call the company to come and pick up the unit. No response. Over the next TWO MONTHS, we make 10+ phone calls to the local franchise (no response) and the corporate office (1-800-PACK-RAT) and send numerous emails. Corporate says theyll make sure and take care of it. Over and over, nothing happens. The unit finally disappears 2 months after our initial request to have it picked up. Unless you want your yard to become a free advertising space for a 1-800-PACK-RAT billboard for an indefinite period of time, please dont give this company your business. They claim a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. I couldnt be more dissatisfied.

Initial delivery and pick-up went as expected from a large corporation. A bit cumbersome but we got it done. Delivery back to the house has been absolutely brutal. My wife and I flew back into town to get the delivery of the container and unload it into a house. Original delivery was set for a Tuesday. Then this was changed to a Saturday delivery and a request for the morning. As I write this it is midnight Sunday morning with no delivery. If you cannot count on this company to deliver on logistics then what is the use?? We were flexible for a window of an entire day but it is absolutely enfuriating when you wait an entire day after talking to multiple people the confirm delivery and then nothing happens. Terrible work 1-800-PACK-RAT!

Dealing with them as I type this. We used PackRat to pack for a home staging and temporary move. My wife called to schedule to pick up the Thursday before Memorial day weekend. They said it would be Wednesday the following week before they picked up. Okay, no problem, we dont close on our sold home until Thursday. Wednesday comes and goes...we call. Thursday or Friday now...probably Friday. Not good enough we say. They inform us they have a truck down. Okay. Were patient. They PROMISE us it will be picked up Friday morning. Here it is almost 2pm and it still is sitting in the driveway. Even after telling us 3 hours ago a truck was en route. Uggghhh

I chose Pack Rat over their competitor because of the design of the container. It gives just that little bit extra space in how the doors open. I really needed all the space I could get. The drop off, pick up and delivery on each end of the move was timely and courteous. I even had to reschedule the delivery on the receiving end twice due to Closing changes and they were accommodating each time. The only draw back is lack of pro-rated pricing, but they are clear about that upfront so you know all rates and fees ahead of time.

The company finally called me back after three days of trying to talk to a person. But after reading these terrible reviews online, I am afraid to see how pick up and delivery to the new out of state address will be. I have no choice but to give then a chance, I pray for the best!

I have been calling for a week now for them to come pick this pack rat storage up and nobody has called me back always put me on hold and say I got it out of my supervisor now they have charged me for another 30 days with the empty unit sitting out there really

The best service I have ever had from a storage company. I have also started recommending to all of my real estate clients who need help with a move. The unit was sturdy and clean. Delivery was on time and hassel free.
