I live on Serenity Way in Greenwood and our regular mail lady is fine, but the woman who fills in for her needs more training. 2 weeks ago she left a package for me by the garage door instead of walking another 10 feet down the walkway to my porch and ringing my door bell or knocking on my door or at least putting it on the porch next to the door so it is on the porch and out of the rain. I was home I have a dog that barks and goes crazy when someone rings the door bell or knocks on the door. Instead she left it on my driveway where watering was pooling (it was raining) and the bottom of my package got wet. Yesterday (thursday) I had a certified letter coming, instead of knocking on my door or ringing my door bell she stuck a card in the side of the door opening saying that since I was not home I could pick up my letter at the post office. I WAS HOME- waiting for that letter. I know it is a female mail carrier from talking to my neighbors. Like I said the normal mail lady is great, the subsitute lady either does not care or badly in need of training.

Delivery of mail is horrible. My whole neighborhoods mail gets put in different mailboxes. Luckily we are all good people and take it to each other. My mailbox has been broke since Thanksgiving and its APRIL!!!! Ive called. And I have went in to this post office and left my keys and they said they would send someone out to fix it. I stopped the mail lady yesterday and asked her if she knew what to do, she said to just keep calling but she would tell them when she got back as well. Today a mailman came and said he locked our mailbox . I was like okay can we have the new key.....he said $35. Are u kidding me????? I have been waiting for months. Called. Came in. My landlord has called. And now all of a sudden they put a new door on today and I have to pay for a key? Ridiculous. 30min wait on the phone just to talk to someone. And got no help. But I will be coming up there tomorrow.

Carrier left my sons birthday gift (an xbox 360) at my apt. door. Not in the lockers or the office, at my door. Thats like leaving a package out on the sidewalk at a house. Of course it was stolen, but they never did anything about it. Went to the police but was told the post office handles their own investigations. Their investigation consisted of making sure the person I ordered it from actually sent it. They told me We leave packages at millions of doors everyday. Thats it?! No accountability at all. Ill make sure my packages are ordered through FedEx or UPS from now on thanks.

Lets face it no one is perfect. I do get good service when I go in to the post office. They do get slammed with business and yes I have had to wait for a long time on occasion for service. That is to be expected sometimes. Over all I think they do a good job. I get pretty good home delivery and yes every now and then there is a screw up or two. I deal with just like I do anything else in life. After all it is part of life. Keep doing what your doing Greenwood Post office your doing okay by my book.

This post office is under staffed and the employees they do have, while polite enough , dont seem to be in any hurry. I often find the self serve kiosk In the lobby full or out of service, leaving me no other choice but to wait in a very long line. I recently tracked a package that traveled along normally until it arrived in Greenwood and then sat for 5 days before it was finally delivered. I will avoid using USPS at all cost in the future.

I called to ask about how to switch my address because I recently moved to Greenwood, IN. I woman who asked the phone was extremely rude and would not let me get two words in to ask a questions. I went online before I called and it is wanting to charge me 45.00 dollars to change my address! When I made mention to that she did not offer to give me the correct address and kept cutting me off! No customer service skills at all!!!

First they were supposed to put in a tag on my mailbox as it was for an apartment showing that I lived there, they finally put it in after 9 months!!! So who knows how many items I never received... Then when shipping to a valid business address using the First Class package they did not even try to deliver to the store. They immediately sent it return to sender without even attempting delivery.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Every time I come in here the people are hateful, the mail gets misdelivered regularly, I get hateful notes in my mailbox from the carriers themselves, and one time I waited in line for over 30 minutes while they took care of a family getting passports. I hate coming here and I try and avoid it AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lost my wallet and was advised to call the post office. A very hateful woman answered, saying "Why would we ever have any bodys wallet? We turn them in to the police immediately" in the most hateful tone making me feel like an idiot. Losing my wallet has been very stressful because I have things in there I cant replace!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. USPS is a reflection of America. Piss poor service, and the carriers obviously can not read. It is completely horrible any package I want delivered properly I know to go through FEDX, DHL, etc.

THIS IS A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! Not only has the mail man misdelivered 4 times but they were hateful. Very poor customer service!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! or it will end up costing you!

Having a P.O. Box is the best. It keeps my important mail and packages from being stolen, damaged, or lost compared to a standard mailbox. If I could eliminate my actual address, I would.

USPS is great - both this office and Main St. location! Been using them for years, ship probably 75% of my business packages through them. Always prompt, accurate and friendly.

Always crowded and line moves at a snails pace. Typical of the U.S.P.S. Local mail gets misdelivered on a pretty regular basis also.
