Called ARS on Wednesday to evaluate some drains at a duplex that I manage. Tech goes out and calls me to take card info prior doing the work. I didnt think this was a big deal. I asked tech to call after job was complete to let me know what was clogging 2 drains(basement and upstairs tub). I never received a call but a charge comes up on my card. Two days later, a tenant calls telling me that the tech dismantled parts of her tub and told her not to use tub. Hed be back that evening or tomorrow(Thursday). Now its Friday. I call customer service to get a tech out there. The tech from Wednesday barely left any notes on the property. Fridays tech says hell call me when hes done or has an update. No call. Saturday, I talk to the tenant. She stated that the tech said hed be back either Friday evening or Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon comes around with no one. I call ARS to find similar findings. Very little notes about the property. And customer service tells me they cant have anyone out until Monday. Not only do I have a charge without a receipt but I have an upset tenant with a disabled tub. He tub was slow draining but she could have used it. ARS left her with an inoperable tub and myself with a charged card for an unfinished job.

Sam came for two needs at our home: yearly inspection of the hot water heater and why water pressure was low in an outdoor spigot. These two needs were taken care of with efficiency and thoroughness. He went down in the crawl space exploring the problem, found the hole in the pipe, explained the repair process so I understood it, and now it "spurts" out! His concern for the client was exceptional; he instilled a feeling of trust in both his honesty and his knowledge of his "craft." Weve been considering installing a water softener but are limited with space (small home). He examined options, decided the best, and in detail with his service books and his own expertise, provided me with needed knowledge and an estimate--in the near future I will be scheduling....I will request Sam for the job! Today, service is a lost art, but Sam still upholds the values of "the good ole days" when it mattered.

We had scheduled a plumbing inspection under our ARS service contract. ARS rep John Koen arrived early in the scheduled time window, introduced himself, stated the purpose of his visit, and carefully explained what he was here to do. After we told him of two plumbing issues we were concerned about, he began by addressing those immediately and then proceeded with the rest of his worklist. John was courteous, quiet and professional throughout his visit, being careful to protect the finishes in areas where he worked, and cleaning up after. After completion, John explained what work had been done, explained the areas of concern, and left us with a proposal for our consideration. The manner in which the whole process was undertaken and completed was very impressive. I will certainly consider ARS for any future plumbing work and drain work.

Bob Collins is a perfect example of why I dont call any other company for my plumbing and AC needs. Anxious about the possibility of a huge plumbing solution in the thousands of dollars, Bob did an excellent job in communicating to me the plan to get my drains unclogged. Water had been standing in my basement for about a week and I was frantic. Bob was the recommended "go-to" technician and I am glad I waited an extra day. Polite, courteous, definitely an expert professional - his solution was the right one which gave me back my peace of mind. From the time he entered my home, he made me feel that getting my drains cleared at an affordable cost was his number one concern and that he would not leave without it being done and he didnt. Thanks for a wonderful ending to such a scary start. ARS Rescue Rooter of Indianapolis Fan-for-life!

Been doing a family and friends investigation, We have found ARS to be a big scam company on their HVAC side. No issues noted with plumbing. There were 2 techs who stood out the most Alan Lee and Aarron Alfrey they both should never be allowed in your home the will manipulate and find ways to make a part appear to be failing. Took a motor changed out to a Bryant dealer called Habeger they determined that the motor indeed had not failed not leaked a oil. My 77 year old mother was a victim of this. I would avoid this company at all cost please! We had 17 houses get a tume up done for friends and family. Those 2 techs were the only 2 out of 6tech That visited the homes over time that were corupt. We also are trying to get the news and BBB involved.

We called on a Friday afternoon close to 5pm. Our air conditioner was blowing warm air. The house was getting quite hot and we had an infant and a child with asthma at home. I was put on a waiting list for the following day (Saturday). Shortly after that, I received a phone call that someone may be able to work us in that night. I was ecstatic. Close to 9:00pm Jason L. arrived. He identified the problem, fixed it, and our air conditioner was soon working again. We were VERY pleased with Jason L, especially his professionalism and diligence even though it had been a very long day for him. We highly recommend this company and specifically Jason L.

ARS called me to set up an appt for regular maintenance for my water heater. I set the appointment. I have been waiting for 4 hours (window 8-12). Hadnt heard a thing. I called them. Oh...gee...we dont have you down. Sorry. Thats understandable once....but this is the 2nd time this has happened. The last time was for furnance maintenance. No show. Last time they sent me a $25 coupon and I was first on the list when I rescheduled. This time just a promise to be first on their list when I reschedule. Starting to wonder if I should continue paying for this "service". My biggest pet peeve.....is people wasting my precious time. :(

Tom B, HVAC field supervisor and Dawn, the HVAC dispatch worked together to solve our low humidity problem. When posed with problem of a new humidifier not producing humidity when called for, Tom worked to program the unit to achieve our desired result. And Dawn, the dispatch was caring and persistent until we received the result that made us happy. We would not have had such a positive outcome had it not been for the technical knowledge and attentiveness of both ARS employees. A Big thank you from satisfied and very humidified customers.

Chris D arrived on time to repair our ac unit that was not blowing cold air. He ran some quick diagnostic tests and determined that parts along with additional Freon were needed. The needed repairs were performed, explanations of what was wrong and what was being done to correct the problems were provided and each and every time he reentered the house, he was "booted" up and kept everything clean. As he hinted upon finishing and now found to be true, the cold air is blowing so good, you can almost hang meat in the living room!
