Typical HVAC scammers. Called because my evaporator coil was freezing up even after replacing the filter and cleaning the coil myself. The tech that came said I was "bone dry" on refrigerant, yet the coil was freezing and my compressor was running (not on limit). He said I would need about 6 lbs of r-22 at an INSANE markup (I could have went and a 30 lb jug of the stuff cheaper than what he wanted for 6 lbs) , and funny because my unit only holds 5 lbs of freon. Proceeded to tell me that there was leak on the condensing unit (because of some rust?) as well as the a-coil, and that both would need to be replaced. Yet the tape I used on the door to seal it back up after cleaning the coil was untouched. Sure guys, let me just fork over $3000 or whatever he asked to replace everything so you can install a 410a condensing unit and the required evaporator to go with it, all because it needed less that a half pound of R-22 and is now running well? Scam.

Team was nice and friendly but their craftsmanship was horrible. We figured we were paying for the best when we got our new furnace installed. Unfortunately they left pipes blowing in the wind, the ran it through our attic and took the easiest route possible. In doing so our storage area up there was diminished. Next time Ill hire the weird neighbor guy before I hire these less than professionals.
