I called to make an appointment on 6/28/2017 at 4:10pm was on hold until 4:40pm. We only have one shower/bath and it was clogged so badly it could not be used and we have a 2 y/o, an 11 y/o, my wife and myself. This was an emergency and the lady said we can get you in 6/29/2017 at 12:00pm. I accepted the appointment and made arrangements to have someone at the house between12-2. An hour later I had a voicemail saying there was a mistake and we dont have anything until Friday the 30th but possibly Monday 7/3/2017. I called and explained the situation and the lady said no way it can happen after a 10 minute conversation she said someone will be there 6/29. I received a call at 9:30am and the plumber said he was on the way. I spoke with the plumber after he broke a pipe snaking the drain, repairing the pipe and he said the old steel pipe must have collapsed inside and they need to cut part of the drywall out on the first floor and replace up to 10 feet of steel pipe. ASI was here about a year and a half ago, cut out a 6 x 3 section of drywall ( the same spot they were going to cut out again) , replaced only the drain and connected the pvc to the same pipe they now wanted to take out. I asked how they knew that the pipe collapsed and I was told it is the most likely situation. I asked if the snake had any rust, metal shards, deposits or anything indicating an internal pipe collapse or any signs of blockage. I was told no but that is the way we have decided to fix the problem. I even called the office requesting evidence of a collapsed pipe. I was told the manager said that is what he thinks too. I told her that I dont like going off guesses, if the whole house needs plumbed that is what it needs. I dont want to cut out my drywall and fix a section of pipe every year and a half, I want a total solution. She said that is what she was told and the manager confirmed. I let them know I would use another company that can actually diagnose the problem before tearing out drywall and pipe( again same area they worked on a year and a half ago). She said ok and I thanked her for her time. Later that day Joe the manager called and said I might want a call. I said not really I just want a solution and evidence before tearing my house open. He understood and asked if I had a clean out pipe. I had no idea but said I will look when I get home from work. Joe said it will be really easy to send a camera if we do and to call back if I find it. The next day I called left a message for Joe informing him I do have a clean out and it is close to the house. I did not hear from anyone at the office. I tried again after the holiday weekend and left another message. Again no call back. I have been scooping water into my sink to empty the bath for days so everyone could shower but no call from joe or ASI. I called again and again he was out right now but will definitely return my call. Monday at 4pm on 7/10/2017 I called our home warranty company to see if this was a covered issue they stated it is and the earliest will be 7/12/2017. The company arrived on time and Josh snaked for 20 minutes, pulled a large sized hair ball out and all the water was gone. No holes, no new pipes, no $900.00 fixing something they fixed before for $1,000.00 a year and a half ago, just sweet blissful drainage. Hot showers and baths without hundreds of buckets going from bath to sink. Go somewhere else.

I had problems with them in that it was a simpler leak repair and they wanted to up sell me their current specials. I had a choice of A or B. The actual problem C was not addressed. (I ultimately repaired leak myself for under $25 due to no choice, realizing the amount of scam in the plumbing industry in this area.) I just wanted honest service and prompt knowledgeable repair. Typically basic items and replacement parts are on the truck. I did not get this. There was no assessment of the leak and there was no diagnosis of the parts or replacement/repair of the leaky faucet and handle which was hard to turn completely off. (I replaced parts on exterior of wall to fix) Mind you, I need water and bathroom to be usable and expect a plumber to know how to accomplish this in the best manner. ...The sales pitch was that my pipe was of a material that was not to code and should be replaced. My bathroom plumbing wall needed a rebuild. (It was stable and did not need replacement.) Do they want my old copper or what? It shouldnt cost 100 per ft to install plastic, especially if "other items" are extra and added during the work." Even if I had taken A or B, C would have been tacked on at the end because it wasnt resolved through A or B. While I have always experienced nice people here, just because someone cleans up and hauls off refuse, does not mean they didnt scam you creating more work than was needed. I gave a 2 star (versus a 1) because last year they did not screw me over. However, once a phone call is made to get instruction, your price will go up. I would not use them again. I dont want to be forced to remodel to a different system - one that did not match my current system - and remodel EVERYTHING trying to repair a leak for an extra thousand plus. Now I am remodeling myself due to not much choice, but isnt this something everyone wants to plan in advance specifically because you cant use your bathroom while its being done??? (I was also told my toilet would likely break if I removed the top to repair the wall, hence automatic new fixtures lining up for future billings to get a working bathroom back.) I can say that they show up on time if not early, but that might not be the best reason to hire a plumber. I question business practices here.

EXCELLENT customer service! When I called on Friday afternoon to make an appointment for the following Monday, the office phone was answered promptly by Kim on the first ring. Her experience, attitude, and efficiency was well-done. The appointment was scheduled with little or no effort from me, and I felt confident that Aldridge Services would show up on Monday morning as scheduled. Sunday afternoon, prior to the Monday appointment , I received a call from Kim, Aldridge Services / Plumbing, to confirm our appointment on Monday at 8:30 A.M. I was taken back, pleasantly, of course, that I would receive a phone call over the weekend to confirm an appointment on Monday morning. Not only did they answer their offices phones on the first ring on Friday, they called me over the weekend to confirm. Impressive! On Monday morning, Mike, the plumber called me enroute to the service residence to advise that he was on his way. Not only was the call very thoughtful, and allowed us to coordinate our arrivals, it allowed me a few minutes to discuss a concern that I had. Mike alleviated my concern during the phone call. A great way to start a Monday morning! Upon arrival at the service address, once again, Mike listened very intently to my explanation of the plumbing issue. He made me feel that our problem was of the utmost importance. After listening patienting and assessing the issue, Mike explained the service plan to me in detail. I departed with a full understanding of what the service plan entailed and the time needed for completion. At the end of the service call, as promised, Mike called me promptly to discuss the work he had completed. I had a thorough understanding and issued payment! Kim and Mike went above and beyond. A rare trait to find in companies these days. In my opinion, Aldridge Services, is the Ritz-Carlton of the plumbing business! The entire team provided 5-star support. They will be my first call for future plumbing issues.
