Dauenhauer was AMAZING through what turned out to be a very complicated and difficult situation, due to no fault of their own. I had a broken drainage pipe outside the house, and my sewage lines were backing up through that broken pipe and flooding the yard outside my house with *ahem* waste. I knew I would need: - The broken pipe fixed - The line snaked to clear the clog causing the backup - A clean-out added so that I could access the line in the future They discovered that my line actually joined the neighbors line, and then their line connected to the sewer. The block was in my neighbors line, but the neighbors are renters and the landlord was deceitful, obstructive, rude and incompetent. They absolutely refused to do the repairs necessary to fix their own plumbing line. Since my house was lower, they also continued to run water down their drains, causing their sewage to back up to my house. Delightful. Dauenhauer went above and beyond, getting their Customer Service Specialist team involved, who were amazing, to liaise with the property manager, my previous plumbers, and myself to find the best solution to the problem. They were able to get her to agree to let them onto her property to do the work, came back out as soon as they had that permission, and completely fixed the problem. Cannot say enough positive things!

My husband and I just want to say how happy we are with your service. Elvis came out to look at our water heater. I had already told him I thought we needed a new one. He checked everything and said it looked good, reset a breaker that had tripped and said to watch it and he would check back with us. He called us that night to see if the water heater was still working...which it was. The next day, the breaker had tripped again and I contacted Elvis. We ended up replacing the water heater, which was the right thing to do since it was over 18 years old. We appreciate SO much that he was completely honest with us on Day 1, checking everything and suggesting we may not have to replace the unit. Although we had to replace it anyway, the fact that he tried other options is very honest and very impressive. He was super friendly and we felt very confident with his abilities and service. We have used your company for past service and have always been very pleased with your technicians. Thank you for your commitment to customer service and your fantastic employees! We will continue to recommend you to everyone we know.

I had a wonderful experience with Dauenhauer and specifically because of my service pro Frank. Ive had an ongoing issue with old pipes leaking and called two companies to come out and give me an estimate to fix it. Luckily Frank was the first one to show up that day. He walked me thru the problem and reviewed the various options I had. He went above and beyond what I would ever expect to ensure I would be taken care of and helped me navigate the best path. It was so refreshing to work with someone that has your best interest in mind as a customer. I trusted Frank so fully and completly I immediately called the other company and cancelled their visit. I didnt need a second opinion, I knew exactly who I was going with. He showed up the next day (on time!) and completed the work (on time!) and did a great job. Theres not many times in life where service is so good that you want to sing someones praises from the rooftop. This was one of those times.

On June 21, 2017 a plumber from this company serviced my upper level bathroom and did an awful job. As of todays date, I am STILL trying to connect with a supervisor. In the meantime my ceiling downstairs has a large water mark. It should not take this long for resolution. The service and sense of urgency is lack luster and unacceptable. I will provide an update on this review as soon as possible. Issue- water leak from toilet Plumber- Prior to a client consult and an Ok to proceed, replaced 2 washers by using ones I had already purchased. After that gave me a bill for 169.00 and stated he didnt know how long it would hold because they couldnt be fully tightened. In fact stated I needed a new toilet. And yesterday woke to a huge water mark on my downstairs ceiling with a large amount of dampness around my toilet. Who does business like this?!

Beware I grew up here and always complimented to everyone where I was station about how great and polite drivers were here in indiana but Dauenhauer Plumbing nearly ran me off the road this morning then stopped in the highway to give me gestures and wave items at me. I got out of the car to find out why he drove off. I admit I was going the speed limit in a school zone of 15 mph on the first day of school! I understand he may not like to obey laws but if this is how a companies representative acts on the road imagine if he gets frustrated at someones house he may tear it all apart or lash out at a customer. Steer clear southern indiana, they dont apparently care about our children safety in school zones, on the road ways, they have roadrage, and who can imagine what kind of customer service in house.

We heard what sounded to be a steady dripping sound through our furnace. Our Heating contractor checked our furnace (no problems there) but confirmed what he thought to be a dripping sound through the duct work. We called Dauenhauer and they came out the same day. The service man, Eddie, listed to our concerns, then investigated the matter by going into our Crawl Space. Eddie came back to inform us we had a pinhole leak causing a drip onto our crawl space floor. After a full review of the repair options, he set about to replace the section of pipe with the leak which took about an hour to complete. We have used other plumbers over the years, but have come to rely on Dauenhauer whenever we have a plumbing issue. They do what they say, do it well and at a competitive rate.

Quoted one price on phone and was charged more due to plumbing codes in Oldham County. Installation was too long. Due to supplier giving wrong size water heater to plumber. And Dauenhauer had to return heater and go get correct size. Took 5 hours for completion. But Daunhauer made it right. My shower leaked ( a steady stream of water) after hot water heater installation. I called and politely told the manager the problems I endured and about the shower leak I now had to have fixed. Dauenhauer stated as long as the repair was not major the would repair it free of charge. So they fixed my shower no cost to me. That is customer service. I couldnt believe it. No company does that anymore. I want to say thank you again for putting your customers first.

These guys reamed out a sewer line at a rental house I own. An inept DirecTV installer had driven a stake into the sewer line, which caused a backup within a few days. Ed, the guy who did the work, was great to work with. I was out of town, and he kept in touch with me by phone and explained everything that was going on. He did a great job. More recently, I had a frozen water line to my home refrigerator that burst and made a giant mess. Andrew came out and discovered that the line had been run along the outside edge of the room and right below a door threshold, where cold infiltration is a problem. Andrew routed a new line three feet away from the door, where itll be safe from freezing. I am very happy with the job he did.
